Paul Maurice, Panthers Postgame: Pittsburgh Penguins Have Answers, Beat Florida in Sunrise
Brad Marsh on two goals tonight. What can you say of how he shows up for this team? Well, the line’s been great. They’ve been uh uh dynamic and like to have been in the playoffs for us. So, positive that that line’s as good as it’s been. Mar was talking about how you guys kind of found something there that How do you weigh the first half or the second half of this game? Well, I the first half of the game we looked like we’ve looked for a while. I mean, offensively just slow and then in the back half of the game we got to the right pace, right? And and there’s a little bit of freedom. I thought we’ve just been really tight with the puck and we’ve turned pucks over that we normally don’t or don’t expect that we should. So, we got to a level of desperation. I I never like use that. We just got to a level of intensity, but with the puck and um and we looked the way we were supposed to look. You get within a goal three different times and then pitcher just takes a momentum right back. Just the challenges that you saw there when you guys have a chance to make a push and then pitcher ended up capitalizing. Yeah, I don’t I don’t I mean I’m not sure what we’ll do on the on the fourth one. these two power play goals and I didn’t feel that hey you know what their goalender made a whole bunch of really really good saves but we were chasing the game at that point but I like the way we chased the game I didn’t feel it was trade two chances for to get to thought we were pretty good with that there’s no moral victories in the NHL but did it feel good that to see your like you said yeah it was you got something to point to right and something that that looks right to you that we haven’t had so that we and we can show it and work off it. Work off that offensive template. We don’t spend a lot of time talking about offense over time here. Was a defense first team. Uh we felt we’ve been slow offensively and I didn’t feel we were tonight. Samo looking really comfortable on PP won a couple assists. Yeah, I mean the power play the first one we get unfortunately Lundal’s in the box and he’s become a really important part of that and then when he wasn’t the one that came back out you know we scored two power play goals with really good movement and something different that we haven’t run before that looks like it’s got lots of room to grow. Is that some something that you can take from this game in addition to just how well you were in the second half was that the power play was able to cash in a couple times. Yeah, I I thought it I thought we had a real tough night the other night, but ended up with 15 shots on goal. Um, and if you can put that many shots up on your power up there, there’s something right it was going to go for you. Boston, it scored a huge goal to get us going. And I thought it was, you know, you get two in a game. Um, that should be enough. But that that part looks like it’s moving in the right direction confidence-wise. And that’s a really big important part of it. And then the other part of our game, we’ve uh we’ve got to drive hard a little harder

The Cats played well especially in the second period.. They out shot the Pens 38 to 16. A few bad breaks and the goalie for the Pens was excellent.
Love y'all but Bobby needed to make some saves tonight
Good game from the cats just no puck luck. Their goalie was dialed in.
Больше всех вкалывают каждый матч Маршанд и Бобровский…….пантеры не забывайте, что они люди, а не слоны, чтобы выдерживать такой темп…….где вся команда?! где защита?!
