Jalen Duren shoves Amen Thompson then elbows him in face and gets ejected

He’s one for three. The Rockets four of nine down low. Duran wrapped up, fouled, shoved. And now both Thompson twins have been involved in shoving matches here in this first half. That great foul there from a man. And that’s the scouting report. Take him. Do not give him a wide open dunk. And that’s frustration. But the issue is that the issue is that he came down over the top of Duran’s shoulders. No, I mean you’re just trying to keep him from getting in the air and amens holding him up and there’s going to be a lot of that but frustration probably from the last miss and and they’re going to look at this too. Look at it. Assar v Jabari Amen v Jalen 18 combined points scored in this second quarter. You seen the jumbo lineup now. This is the speed lineup for EA and they got dropped. and got hit in the face. I I have a feeling I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot more Dur. He might be out and they’re going to look at it. He might be out. I don’t know if this was intentional, but he he may be out of here from that because you see that left elbow and he he goes high. has contact above the shoulders. Remember what he did to Norman Pal? He split his face, split his forehead open. The ruling on the floor is an offensive foul on Detroit’s Jaylen Duran. The play will be reviewed to see if it meets the criteria for a flagrant foul because of the play that just happened. He it might be the end of his night. Hey, come in here 0 and one. You got to expect a dog fight. And it’s early in the preseason, so there’s physicality. There’s another technical. No, no. Both benches just got a tea. I think I think I don’t know if it was coaches chirping at one another from the Pistons and Rockets, but I believe both benches just got teed up. Again, the chirping continuing and play isn’t even happening as we have it almost seems like we’ve had more reviews in this second quarter than we’ve had action on the floor. I told you I feel sorry for the referees tonight. You know, this is probably the only time. This is a a tough game to officiate cuz there’s a lot of elbows and pushes and and grabs going on. And Durant probably laughing going, “Yeah, he he got you pretty good, twin. That was a shot.” And the So, it was it was two assistant coaches. I don’t know if you could tell the crowd reaction actually saw the head. Yeah, he’s gone. They’re going to say this was a flagrant two. Yeah. and he hit the the same guy who he just pushed a moment ago. You got to expect that. And again, Craig, it’s only game two. This is the bad boy Pistons. I guess they’re they’re back, right? No, the the the games against the Rockets and Pistons the last three or four years. Have to review. The illegal contact from Detroit’s Jaylen Duran has been upgraded to a flagrant foul penalty, too, for unnecessary and excessive contact above the shoulders. As a result, Duran will be ejected from the

  1. This is getting out of hand with all the “ technicals” and “flagrants” it’s a physical sport you gotta let the boys play. Obviously don’t let them fight but this is outrageous

  2. Gets elbowed square in the face, gets up in 5 seconds and shrugs it off. I'm glad we're back to this. Not that flopping sh*t where they stay down for god knows how long only for the replay to show it was minimal contact, or not even at all.
