Everyone had Nashon Wright, Josh Blackwell, and Nick McCloud as our CBs before the season right?
This isn’t anything new dawg, this is the same lineup we had Week 1 3 and 4
I always wonder in these situations. Can Hicks not play corner? Seems like it’d be better than elevating a practice squad guy.
Not that we’ll get any slack from the national media if we lose this game, but just keeping this close would be a huge win at this point.
Blackwell is a good slot corner back I believe he’s better there than outside
Who cares. Bear down and win games despite adversity. The Lions just steamrolled arguably the best offensive team in the league with a group of athletic janitors and the power of friendship.
Do not look at the Ravens injury report.
This feels like sending Faramir to charge Osgiliath.
Stop trying to make me scared of the 2025 ravens
At least the offense is pretty healthy. Only notable absence is Kmet and honestly Loveland is more a talented player – good chance for him to show it.
Good bye creative blitzes.
Any free agent corners worth looking at?
The Lions just put up a defensive masterclass with practice squad players and career backups. DA should have a good game plan, but we also need the offense to be consistent. Turnovers = TDs, not FGs
They may run 3 safeties anyway with Derrick Henry running down hill.
Now would be a great time for the expensive D Line to step all the way up.
The best way to counter this is have a good pass rush and keep the ball away from Baltimore with long sustained drives
We maybe injured but most of the Ravens Defense is dead. I think we’ll kick them while they are down.
Blackwell was a decent backup to Jaylon last year. Wright had a takeaway last week. The lions just murdered the bucs with NO secondary. I think we will be just fine.
Look, the Ravens are most likely going to score 28-35 points, even if we get 3+ turnovers. If we can get those turnovers and still win this game, that’s a huge win in my book. We’ve got our entire secondary banged up and injured, and our front seven have not exactly been world beaters. I would love to see a win, but I would also like to see improvement from the offense when the defense doesn’t have their best players out there.
Football can be hard on the body. A lot people don’t know that.
Thought we could pull off the upset but with a semi-healthy Lamar going against our backup secondary, I’m not so sure.
The optimist in me sees this as an opportunity for a few dudes to do what they can to try and solidify a long career in the league. No one plays football to be second string, and it feels like Ben and Dennis have ignited a flame within these guys.
The Bears fan in me, however, is already prepared to have a disappointing birthday weekend. The Commanders game was my bday game last year, so I’ve got a knot in my stomach to put it lightly.
I honestly see this as how good of DC Dennis Allen is and how good of a DB Coach Al Harris is.
What WRs on their roster scare you? They are a heavy run team with DH and rely a lot on Mark Andrews. Dline needs to be disciplined and stay in their rush lanes. Lamar can be sacked.
Perhaps you forgot that backup CB Terell Smith is also out for the season.
Bears’ top four CBs out vs. Baltimore.
if i bleed, he can bleed too.
no surprise injuries happen this far into the season. let’s see how our org operates during adversity. caleb is still taking snaps. our o line is one of the healthiest in the NFC North.
