No, just keep him out until next season.
chris haynes doesn’t know shit about fuck. no one does. he has months to go in his rehab. just let the chips fall where they may but expect him to be out. have a blessed day yall
What’s the point? We are a team giving Xavier Tillman heavy minutes. We suck, might as well get a good draft pick
This is so vague. Tatum could be texting him about how great his rehab is going and how he’s ahead of schedule.
right after the all star break is his personal timeline
Everyone who follows tatum expects him to come back this season. You can disagree with the decision but its happening.
I doubt Tatum texted him something that revealing. Haynes has no credibility.
Just keep tanking.
A lot of the recent examples in sports suggest that the longer the rehab period the better. Take the year to get right
There’s absolutely zero reason to do this. Why can’t fans just be ok with the possibility of a losing season?
man this is gonna get exhausting pretty quickly
Tatum is very likely to come back this season but it’ll probably be by all-star break so he won’t have as immediate of an impact as others may expect. Especially if the team isn’t doing so great
Opening night ’26
I think he’ll be much better off having an off-season scrimmaging against nba players and ramping up. If he comes back mid-season he’ll go from practicing against g-leaguers to full speed NBA action.
We’re the Boston Celtics, we hang banners. Let’s be honest, we don’t have the front court depth to be legitimate contenders this season even if JT comes back at 90% (which is optimistic). Our future rides on #0: he’s proven himself to be one of the most reliable superstars of all time, we need to think of the next 10 years more than this 1.
Fresh-off-an-achilles-tear Tatum is not enough to carry this team to a championship. All it would do is push us down in the draft. Now, do we care about half a season where we 100% will not win a championship, or do we care about the next 5-10 years a high draft pick may contribute to us?
Fuck Haynes
No we won’t
