TRAGIC NEWS FOR PATRIK LAINE & THE MONTREAL CANADIENS
Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness gracious goodness. This is a really, really tragic piece of news. And the Montreal Canadians just tweeted it out about 20 minutes ago here. 100,000 views at the time of recording this audio. But the Habs posted this, a medical update on Patrick Line. Take a look at the image here. Forward Patrick Line underwent surgery to repair a core muscle injury. The procedure was performed by Dr. Mark Zoland at Lennox Hill Hospital in New York. LA’s recovery period is estimated to be 3 to four months. And at this point, you know, we made a video a few days ago talking about Patrick Line and just what he’s gone through, the situation, how he’s been in and out of the lineup the past few years. And we spoke out about how this doesn’t really bode well at all when you look at how he has missed so much time lately. injuries, issues with his knee, getting hurt, Cedric Paron knee collision in the preeason last year, and how we were all believing that as long as Patrick L was able to stay healthy, he would be a meaningful NHL contributor. But unfortunately, even when he was playing, I’d say Patrick Line just was not really effective this season. He played five games. He had one assist, but just the way he was moving and the way he was trying to create offense, it just wasn’t really working for this guy. And now we get this piece of news that he had to have surgery and now he’s going to be out for 3 to four extra months. Let’s just round up here. It’s November. Give him three to four months. That’s January, Februaryish for Patrick Lion to get back in the game action here. What a total travesty of a situation. And it’s one of these things where, say what you want about Patrick L being good or bad, effective, whatever, but you can’t help but feel for the guy. you can’t help but just totally sympathize with the amount of time this guy has lost and with the way his career has gone. I mean, just look at all the games played he has missed ever since 2020 essentially. Yeah. Okay. This was a shutdown co year. Things weren’t really a full 82. So, we can skip over this one. The year after, hey, there were 56 games in the NHL season. line a he played 46 so that’s not that bad but the years after when the games got back over to 82 I mean 50 games 50 games 18 games 50 games again for Montreal I mean if Patrick L comes back and he plays let’s say the remaining few months of the year then what’s he looking at about 40 games there’s an Olympic break in there as well so you know there aren’t really going to be too many compared to last year so for Patrick This is absolutely terrible news, but if he needed to go out there and get surgery, then absolutely it’s fine that he was able to get that. Health obviously comes first here, people. And that’s why we’re not going to go out there and harp on Lana for getting any surgeries or whatever. If this is what needed to be done, then hey, good on Lana for going through with it and good on Li for making a really difficult choice. But at the end of the day, he’s not going to be available for the Montreal Canadians for the next 3 to four months. An $8.7 million player on the payroll, not available here. And ultimately, it’s just another one of these stories where, yeah, we’re saying the same thing that we seem to be saying every single year. Oh, that sucks for Patrick L. Let’s go over to the Canadian subreddit and read what the folks on here have to say. I’ve actually found that using the regular Reddit page is a little bit better for making videos because the page is in the middle instead of being on the left side. Like if we use the old Reddit format, everything is shifted over to the left, but the new format has it in the middle. I really wonder if he’s going to keep playing after this year. Poor guy. Another comment says, “Does he piss off an evil wizard or something? The man is cursed.” This is so sad for Patty. If he’s got any luck, it’s piss poor. Not a fan of the player, but from a human perspective, I really feel for him. He went through so much and fought through so much mental health issues, and for this to happen is heartbreaking. Get well soon, Patty. All the best to you and your wife. On a human level, I’m sad for him. I wish he would stay healthy and put his career back on track. On a player level, this probably doesn’t give him enough time to become anything more than a power play shooter. And therefore, I can’t see the Habs ever signing him back, which is a good thing in my opinion. With a guy like Bull Duke on the fourth line, we will never see Lane in a Habs jersey. It’s over. So, with that in mind, I guess we can end this video off here. There isn’t really much else that we can talk about. It’s very unfortunate news and very sympathizing news for Canadians fans. Patrick L had himself surgery. He’s going to be out 3 to four months. And I want you to let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. How do you feel about this update? I hope you enjoyed this video. And bye.

Laine is always hurt! He could put his hand in a barrel of puzzies and pull out an azzhole
Career over..?
Man…no Barkov, no Laine…the heck will our Olympic Team look like..?
Perkele…I don't like the way things are developing 🙁
Habs looking good any old case, though 🙂🙃
This is the best thing that could have happened
He’s probably fine they are just kicking him off the team without letting other teams know so he can possibly ruin another team.
This does not hurt Montreal. It free cap space for a trade or open a spot for a kid to move up. Laine did not fit in Montreal's line up anymore.
Adios Laine 🙂 It's not tragic at all !
J'espère qu'il ne sera plus sur notre masse salariale…
I feel sorry for Laine. However, lets be realistic, he was a liability this year. You can't live in the past. Yes, he did help the Habs last year. But, this is this year. Weak 5 on 5, nothing on the PP. Where was he going to fit in? Too slow. Hockey is a rough sport. This is why the top players demand top dollars, as they take a risk in playing. He did receive a great contract. Free cap space opens up a better deal for Mathewson. He deserves a good contact.
The way Laine played 5v5 last year and this year, there is no way on Hades that he was a Hab next year.
He is too slow!!!!
see you later men goobye
