Is Brian Thomas Jr. About To be TRADED?
Is star receiver Brian Thomas Jr. about to be traded? We got a report today that the Jaguars are listening to trade calls for Brian Thomas. And this might seem a little bit crazy on face value because Thomas was seen as one of the best young receivers in the league after last year going for,200 yards and 10 touchdowns as a rookie. I mean, it felt like every single week he and Trevor Lawrence were having a great connection, especially down the field. I mean, he was emerging as a great deep threat. So, heading into year two, the expectations were sky-high, but it’s been kind of weird this year. And I go back to this play in the preseason when Lawrence kind of threw a hospital ball and he got crushed in the middle of the field. He currently leads the NFL in drops with nine. And I feel like maybe every game this season Thomas has gotten a great throw from Lawrence over the middle of the field and he just takes his eye off it cuz he’s scared to get hit. I mean against the Cincinnati Bengals again. Thomas was a huge reason why the Jags lost this game. A crucial drop on fourth and five. You possession earlier on third and goal. The Jaguars again inside the red zone. Lawrence throws a pass over the middle of the field and Thomas is too scared to take the contact and try and bring that in. It is so bizarre what’s happened to him this season, but you still see the flashes. Like this catch against the Chiefs on Monday Night Football was ridiculous. And his tape was so good last year. I think any contending team would be crazy to not inquire about trading for him and try and make it happen. I don’t think it’d be smart for the Jaguars to sell low on him at this point. But you know what? We’ve seen crazier things

Quit crying about the so called hospital balls. Going across the middle as the number 1 receiver is part of playing in the NFL. Also, BTJ was already dropping a lot of passes in training camp, so try again. He’s dropping passes all over the field, not just across the middle. Also, that hit was that serious as BTJ jumped right up and was not injured.

You evidently did not actually watch last year. All those improvements last year were with Jones not Lawrence.
