For the second year, I’m volunteering through my local ymca to coach Jr Celtics. The actual Celtics are fairly involved with the program and they held a coaching clinic today. As part of the clinic, they let us take photos with the trophy. I thought folks might be interested in seeing some close ups of it. I didn’t realize all the winners were engraved on the base. There were a fair number of scratches and scuffs on it – I can only imagine what that trophy has seen. It looks heavy, but there is a hard and fast rule that no one was allowed to touch it.
