NHL Highlights | Oilers vs. Kraken – October 25, 2025
go to beat Montreal on Thursday night while Seattle was shutting out Winnipeg. Here we go. Chandler Stevenson and Leon Dryidle on the opening draw. Turnover at the Seattle line and fed along by Mason Marchman of the Kraken. And then countering is dry high off the glove and a juicy rebound and dry side. Big David will twist it back to Isaac Coward. Scored his first NHL goal against Ottawa. A miss from Bousard. And now it’s a twoon one for Seattle. Manny Beners and Everly. Everly shoots. Scores. Had his careerhigh in goals with the Oilers. And he can still put the puck in the net. A pinch down the wall that’s not supported leads to a two-on-one. This Seattle tried to feed right and that pass to the opposite skate. So Dord will handle this one. Four on four for another 25 seconds. Here’s Ellie Tolvin. Slow start this year. That high whistler. Adam Henry popped out of the box. Took it from Schwarz. And now a leave for Dry subtle for Meerson. Dry subtle weaving his way in. Five goals already on the season. Tucks it in front. Great chance. And played the two games. Scored the gamewinner in Ottawa. Two assists the other night, including on the winner scored by Paka. Steal by Akol up to Mapani dishing off Howard a shoot Nan Hopkins Emerson a drive and a red save and then the rebound stopped against Adam Henrik who shown some jump in the early going this season quickly tucked ahead well played by Newman Schwarz looking rink wide for right and off the turnover Rosik with a snap shot and that hand come to Cord but he got enough to deflect it wide I think he had more room to take that puck to the Yeah, Ross with a cross ice and a one-time off the pads of Joey Decor. That was some look from Dryidle who now tried to leap and knock a puck down that was heading toward the blue line. Instead, it’ll be Schwarz that gets it in. I agree, Louie. If he cuts that to the middle, maybe he opens up a path. Instead, this one’s going to be speared by Decord against Leon 12day sixgame trip. Here’s Marchman to the net with a wrist shot and a blocker save made by Skinners that skips on a play but no sign thus far after a six-game road trip sometimes that can be the case but they were very aware of it this morning and I think obviously playing against Edmonton as a team they get fired up to play against. This is a nice move by Mason Marchman and a good save by Steuart Skinner as he tests the blocker side up over the glass. Little conversation with Leon Dryidle like his old man. Not afraid to chat on the ice and get in the grill of the opposition. Eh, you saw him do the fake punch the other night. That was hilarious. How hard this league is to win puck battles and get a puck back. You’ve got to work move your feet. He did that in the third. Why he’s playing with McDavid. Bard a drive and a save made by Dord. McDavid and dry. Schwarz to right. He’s plastered against the wall by Henrik. A drive on Tour and a blocker save made by Steuart Skinner. Pod Coulson in the finger. Isaac Howard with the hooking call against him right before we went to the commercial timeout. Second power play for the Kraken. Here’s Don a shot. That’s on the kill. Brousard a steel. Echol grappling with Everly. Brousard a nice play to New Jopkins. Gave it away and then Newman flubbed it. And here’s liberally on the PK. Here’s to a drop pass for Shane right. A drive off the shoulder of Steuart Skinner. And now McDavid’s away short-handed. Grabbed by Tomasic. Here’s Trent Frederick trying to center one off a skate and right into the glove of Joey Decor. Redirect the puck in. This is a smart play. Gets tangled up. You’re going to see Mahur take that stick away and he just Bard on to McDavid. McDavid and Dry Settle back together. Five on five. Centering pass one time. What a save to Gord on Jack Roselick. Some kind of look. Good looks in this game. so far. And what a pass. I mean, that is an absolute beauty of a pass in the backhand side by Didle. One-time Russell, former coach of the Islanders. Spent a lot of time on Long Island. Here’s Beners off to Adam Larson. Wrist shot got through and that’s pitched to the corner by Skinner. Sends it around to Tolvenant up top. Montour looking for a lane. Waiting to Montour inside. Merchman a shot and that was disrupted and Skinner handles the change up easily. Saucer to Dun moved over to Paneers done a one-time and that was blocked up top by Majapani and here is Ryan Nan Hopkins gliding in short-handed fires off the post. He had to cornbee wanted to get to that puck first and Ekcom just wouldn’t let him as it was called on the icing. Here’s a chance by Ryan Nent Hawkins short-handed and he’s been shooting the puck this year. No, no question. He’s got a little extra zip. He’s been trying to pick corners and he’s got an accurate shot and able to shovel back to the Edmonton blue line. Quick change for the Kraken as Gartier comes off. McDavid rushing the puck into the offensive zone for Walman and shot and that’s booted to the corner. Low to high and now Stevenson around Dryidle heading for the net. Howard pestering a centering passed toward the net by Tolvin and then Skinner has seen enough with that puck kind of and Louis with the call of the second period. Right on time. Oki as Tricle reunited with but Coulson who got banged up in that first period on the block shot and Seavoy unable to dig it out. Cardier Roselvic back on it. Nan Hopkins loses and fires and that was blocked in the corner by Dor rebound for her. This is one thing that the Kraken haven’t been doing is getting trapped. Winon is able to break free, hits score. Two nothing Seattle. Boilers unable to cash in at one end and Seattle in transitional play for the Kraken. I mean, they’re hemmed in on this shift. Couple good saves by Joy Dorty. Tried to put one up over the glass. Winterton with a beauty of a pass though here. I mean, he’s getting checked all the way back into the zone and he somehow is able to find this pass right onto the tape of Tai C. He buries it. Still looking for the first in his career, but a nice shot on net and has his second NHL assist tonight. Montour shot. Big rebound given upon who’s off to a slow start this year. Regain on a quick shot by Marchman and that hesitates under duress puts it onto the tape of Drytle. Fired to Bousard and now Nan Hopkins Bousard open Drytle one-time and that but it’s the recoveries entries get back into the zone. Here’s the sharp angle one time. We’ve seen that McDavid to Drytle. The Oilers down two nothing. Dry settle short side and that again appeared to catch the goal post. Dry subtle steers to Nan Hopkins. Boo Shark Nan Hopkins. Dry subtle. Boo Shark snatches it and scores. Evansson back in the game at two to one. And that’s the first goal of the year for Evan Bousard. Top of the left shoulder of the court. That sneaky little riser in tight. Evan Bousard walks in and absolutely rips this one through the screen of Tom to Tom Tomasic. And that’s got to feel good for him. Offense has not been coming for Evan Bousard this season. Turns out Wright has been on the Jay’s bandwagon all along as he should be. Jack and Lou with the call of the third. Well, Oki in fairness one timed it into the opposite corner trying to catch Seattle napping. Instead, it’s off the boards and this is going to be twoonone. Everly walks in and scores. Top left corner. 31 Kraken. Everly the Seattle captain with his second of the night. Ben Mau break. Keep play to the outside. Eventually this one here and Schwarz that takes a little bit of a hit from Echol. And then the onehanded bat by Beners Dly. Similar to the goal that opened up the scoring for the Seattle Kraken that made it one- nothing. This time he goes up over the blocker. He went over the glove the first one. This one he goes blocker side. Jordan Everly for his second. I mean, he picked that corner. That’s a Dry settle back out there as the Oilers hunting down the Kraken. Trailing two. That’s a good keep for Edmonton. And Darnell Nurse with a drop pass for Dry. Threw it across. Eol shot. Score. Went through a screen. Joey Dord. Nurse might have gotten a piece of it. And Dord feels if he did, then take a look at a potential high stick. This is going to be Nurse’s goal. He’s got to take the chance to come down and chip that back into the zone. Dryidle threads it over to him and it’s a quick snapshot. Bard across to Jake Walman. Ros has been dangerous all night. Bousard moves it for Tric. A beautiful move through Schwarz. A shot. Skinner thought about leaving. Did not. And now Winterton will make a move up to Veneer. Twoonone with Cartier. Baneer shoots and that was blown off by Skinner and maybe Koulak with a good step at the last second. Beneers with a good chance to back a shot blocked going down to save the game. Potentially was Vince Dunn. The court bobsome.
Jordan Eberle found the back of the net twice, including the game-winning goal, and Joey Daccord made 31 saves to help lift the Seattle kraken over the Edmonton Oilers 3-2.

ffs 0:30 into this video I hear "a miss from Bouchard"… Seattle scores………. 🤬
Kraken played hockey. Not sure what game the Oilers play. Maybe stop juggling lines every game???!!!
I hope team Canada says "NO" to Evan Bouchard.
Skinner is just right out bad at this point!
Skinner is the GOAT ! Of letting in the first shot on goal
Edmonton signed & traded the wrong guys. 😂
hello Oilers, you need a goaltender hello these two bozos will not do it
Guess the refs didn't have $$$ on the oilers
Bouchard is so bad on Defense
it was awesome to see Eberly kicked their ass though
just checking in to see if the refs were going to hand Edmonton another win like the gave them against the Habs. nice job Seattle.
who in their right mind thought Bouchard is a defenceman, just having a slapshot does not mean squat, with being caught up ice or out of position, throwing down to the ice to be even more out of the play than he already is…guess the job is to stand there like a road cone and retrieve all the pucks from your net…definitely be a large deficit with goals scored vs those scored on
Skinner must think it's already the playoffs
Just a habs fan passing by,
#97 is gonna regret signing that extension
At this point we all know the problem the Oilers have. Fire the guy in the general managers office responsible for this nonsense.
All that hype about beating Montreal ?? & McDavid is wasting his entire career on a team that is no where near good enough ! Over 10 years now , then he signs again ? 🤪 He needed an agent to help himself better than he obviously did ! Time is going by . One bad injury is always closer than you think ? A top 3 team needed to be his Priority ! ✅
Skinner is the least of the Oilers problems. When you get officiating that doesn't need to make their money line, they don't get the amount of power plays they need to win.
Bouchard… AGAIN!!!!
So the Ref`s didn`t save the Oilers in this game.😣😣😣
No ref on the side of Edmonton for this one…
Bouchard with a goal and still ends up -3 😂😂😂😂 it’s a good thing it’s only 4 more years
It’s still preseason for Oilers until Christmas. If they’re working on a new system, I don’t see it..
Bouchard got his greedy contract now he’s playing his worst hockey
Oh would you look at that…. no refs no wins huh?
GO HABS GO
Posers.
Oilers shot efficiency again is super poor. Not to talk about defence work. Bad season start.
Bouchard: Someone check his peripheral vision or just trade him already.
Stu: Interesting performance tonight, something new, was he actually trying to stop pucks by jumping on them?
Oilers and Flames, Alberta's pride. ❤
This team lives, breathes and eats off of 97 and 29 holy
“That must have felt good for Bouchard, offence has not been coming easily or him” – the commentators.
Bench Bouchard. NOW!!!!
I’m glad I didn’t watch the game, just watch the highlights and every time Bouchard is on the ice the other team scores, he just has no common sense with the game. Sad to say Nurse’s contract isn’t that bad after all. We all just need to stop watching them until they bench Bouchard for a few games.
The lack of intensity and back checking is horrendous.
No refs help tonight 😂😂😂
I have no Idea who is puting the Team together in Edmonton but this guy has to be so stupid and he has no idea from IceHockey. How could they get a 10.5 Mil to bouchard?
On the first 2 goals Skinner looked like an animal getting hit by a 12 gauge the way he dove at the puck in midair. Go Kraken
Bouchards lack of hustle on that first goal honestly pissed me off.
oilers losing a game gives me happiness
Bouchard does deserve all the hate and criticism from the hockey world, worst offensive dman in terms of of defensive and slightly better offense in terms of normal dman, but he’s been paid 10.5 mil for this kind of garbage lmao
Good game good to see Seattle doing better playing stronger picking good coaching staff and great players lots of synergy no drama less ego something the Vancouver Canucks could learn from
Perry 2Tore, Mc Jesus 1Tor, fast alle Oilers sind weit überbezahlt, der Manager ist das größte Problem. Alle neuen Spieler sind Totalausfälle, Frederic ist ein AHL Spieler.
Buuuuuuuuh Bourchard
You know, I'm beginning to think maybe goaltending isn't the biggest issue in this team.
10.5 MILLION DOLLARS 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fantastic win Kraken! Solid defense and goal keeping all night. Only 2 penalties is huge for how we want to play. Made the most of Oiler mistakes and held on for dear life! 🤣 That's Kraken hockey baby!
