I’m Johnny Venerable. The playmaker, former Arizona Cardinal wide receiver Britain Golden on the program today. The Arizona Cardinals drop their fifth straight loss of the season, blowing a fourth quarter lead again to the Green Bay Packers. I want to remind everybody the presenting sponsor today with our friends is Bet 365. Download the bet365 app today. Choose your offer. Find out why whatever the moment it’s never ordinary with Bet 365. This seemed like a very ordinary fourth quarter. Britain Golden has the Arizona Cardinals, despite leading, despite having a 10-point lead, despite the defense playing so well in the first half, subsequently give up 21 second half points. Jonathan Ganon finds himself at a crossroads as the Arizona Cardinals enter the by-week. An unthinkable, an inexplicable two and five after seven games. Two and five after seven games and your five losses are all within under seven points. It’s just one of those things where like you said, we’ve said it before, right? You you’re in control in fourth quarters in some of these losses and you blow it. Yeah. Right. And it’s offensive play calls just get to this position to where they just get, you know, one predictable, two, it’s just it’s like you’re trying to say or just run the clock out. Right. Right. You’ve had this problem all season long. Right. And it’s it’s the prevent defense before halftime that gives up a 30-y pass and allows him to get three points in that situation. All right. is you get out here and you try to do this conservative offense in the second half because you have a lead and you’re not moving the ball down the field and you’re not making the right plays. You’re in fourth and one and you try to run a quarterback sneak. Yeah. Like come on. Like if if you’re going to go for it on fourth and one, right, show me something. Put something together. Give me a play call. Not a quarterback sneak, especially when they’ve got eight people in the box and they’ve pinched the middle. Right. This isn’t This is not your identity. Well, I mean, it is. It’s basically what your identity has been all season long. Right. Right. is get yourself in a position to win and then pee down your leg when it comes down to it. It’s it’s just it’s it’s not a situation your quarterback played extremely well and played well enough for you to win this football game again. Yeah. Yep. Jacobe Brassette, we’re going to talk about him. Two touchdowns, almost 300 yards passing game. Did have the one fumble, but was methodical. It’s a problem right now for Jonathan Ganon. We’re trying to pinpoint an identity for the 2025 Arizona Cardinals. They have one now. the the identity for this team is blowing it in fourth quarters, is choking games away, is not putting teams away to the point where now your fan base, maybe even your players can feel it coming. That’s a problem. That’s an ind indictment and indic indicative of coaching malpractice. Right now, we go through those final couple possessions for the Arizona Cardinals. You know, you’re up by three. Your defense finally gets a stop in the second half. you’re driving and you have the ball on fourth and one. You can either punt the football. I applauded them the mindset to go for it because the Packers can’t, you know, they could only go up by a certain amount. A touchdown on the next drive. Still beats them. Horrendous play call on on fourth and it was about a yard and a half. Everybody in the stadium knew it was coming. It wasn’t even close. Then you subsequently turn around against the Packers on the next drive and the the Packers go for it on fourth and two. Tucker Craft, you had no adjustments for him all game, just like Tyler Warren a week ago. And then you have an opportunity to get a stop. You can’t do it. So instead of like letting the Packers score, your defense allows them to get a first down like inside the 2yd line. So you’re having to burn timeouts. The situational awareness for the Cardinals with four minutes left was atrocious. You fast forward to that final possession with Jacobe Brassette. Michael Carter gets a first down. There’s about 39 seconds left. You have two timeouts and instead of taking a timeout, you run to the line of scrimmage to try to a hurry up play. And Micah Parsons took Jonah Williams to the woodshed the entire game, beats him for his third sack of the game and then you panic and call a timeout and you never get close again. I mean, I I I have applauded Jonathan Ganon, the culture builder, Jonathan Ganon, the influencer. His his impact on this franchise off the field can’t be disputed. The coaching in the fourth quarter was bad today. It cost you the game. Oh, it did. And especially that last drive, right? You like you just said, right? You’ve got 40 plus 49 48 seconds left when you get the first down, right? You have two of them. Call the timeout, right? Set up a play, right? You put yourself in a situation where you felt like you had to hurry up. You got the first down. They tried to push. They tried to hurry up and then you get sacked. Yep. Right. And it just puts you one, you’ve moved yourself into the high red zone, and now you’re back up to the 40 yardd line. It’s just not It was It was bad bad clock management is what it was. Like the play call, don’t get me wrong, it was a pass play. You wanted to see him execute it, but there was not enough time. You should have called timeout. You should have put yourself in a situation because then if you get sacked one, right, you still have another timeout to burn there. Boom. Like you burn the timeouts, but I I just think it was poor because you lose 20 seconds on top of getting sacked. How about this? Per NFL Fox, um the Arizona Cardinals have now become the first team in NFL history to lose three straight games after leading by seven plus points entering the fourth quarter. How about that? They have led by seven plus points in three straight games. Put aside the fact you were beating the, you know, San Francisco 49ers in the fourth quarter and you blew that game. You’re the first team in league history to blow games in the fourth quarter at this rate. I mean, it’s just it’s sad at this point. Like I I I this is heading toward a divorce for everybody involved. Quarterbacks, coaching staff, general manager. Like if you’re Michael Bidwell and you’re watching this, you’re watching the Jets or excuse me, the the Jaguars get boat raced by the Rams in your own division. You’re watching Kyle Shanahan win with M. Jones. You’re watching Seattle blow up their offense in in an offseason. It pay dividends. Like I I I I don’t think Cardinal fans will be able to stomach like, “Oh, just give us a mulligan for this year.” No one wants to see that. you you’ve been a losing franchise for the better part of four seasons. This was the year you had an overunder of eight and a half. I mean, this is feeling very much like Eber flu with the Chicago Bears last year where they they started out okay. They had the fail Mary and then subsequently it just got worse and worse every week. And like I don’t think the the Cardinals are as dysfunctional on the field as the Bears were last year. But like whether it’s this week or last week or next week, like we look down the schedule, it’s going to be hardressed find a game the Cardinals are going to be favored in, much less win at this point. Britain Golden. Well, I just don’t think that you have an opportunity to be favored in any games going forward. I mean, not to say that you can’t win any games going forward, but I mean, you put an offense out there today that that did its job, right? Jacobe threw for 280 yards and he had two touchdowns, right? They moved the ball down the field when they were in the opportunities and the positions to move it right now. You need to start converting field goals in into touchdowns. That’s what hurts you really. When you go back and look at it, the drives where you were in the red zone and you had to settle for a field goal instead of being able to get a touchdown in there. It completely changes the game, right? You win the game if you turn all those field goals into touchdowns. Now, that is obviously easier said than done, but I it’s just still this situation of getting to the end of these games where you’ve led most of this game and then collapsing and not finding ways to win the football game. Well, here’s what’s uber frustrating for me. It’s like your defense that should have been able to pick you up one of these last two games. You got Jacobe Brassette. Most of your defense is healthy. Like I know Garrett Williams isn’t playing and you still haven’t seen Walter Nolan, but like this this is the defense that you hand selected. It’s got Cleas and Dalvin and Sweat and Baron Browning and all these players M. Wilson senior let Kazir White go and it’s like okay you know the backup quarterback’s going to be playing well you’ve averaged 25 points per game with your backup QB and your defense has played its two worst games of the year. Now, what that tells me, Britain, is that the Cardinals defense that was number one in the NFC in points per game allowed before last week, the Cardinals defense is is a big-time fraud. They’re fraudulent until they played two good offenses last two weeks, got beat. That’s it. And and it’s it it’s it’s doubly bad because the offense finally gets its act together somewhat and the defense can’t stand up and make a play. So, it it also might be a byproduct, Britain, of of the fact that, you know, the the defense is worn out because they’ve had to play so much. I don’t care what it is. It’s like no, no one wants to sit here and be like, “Well, they lost the game because of this thing.” No, they’re just they’re continuing to lose. That’s what people care about. They show up every week with their tickets and their money and their merchandise and they say, “Sway me back, Jonathan Ganon. Sway me back, Monty.” Austin Ford, why should I care, right? Can’t blame it on Kyler Murray this week. He’s off to the side the last two games. You got all your players. This is a roster that you have put together that you have orchestrated and you’re playing teams led by Daniel Jones and Jordan Love in your building. Can you go out there and can you get a signature win? And unequivocally you have told us you cannot. The last two weeks you have had the fourth quarter lead of seven plus points the last three games and all three games you have fallen on your face. Like I I just this is going to take a herculean effort for me not to sit here in December and January and not demand like you just got to get you just got to blow this up and start over because you’re you’re already trending that way with the offensive personnel. We’re already trending toward Kyler Murray not being back next year and having a high pick and drafting a quarterback, but like I mean like Jacobe Brassette has played well, has played very well. So like what if you get a a rookie quarterback or a new quarterback next year and they’re putting up good numbers and you still blow in the fourth quarter. You’re still blowing games. Like I there’s a football mentality right now from the Cardinals and their staff. We’re going to blow this game. whether they’re not gonna come out and say that that’s the byproduct of what we’re watching every week because and and the only way to shake that is to start over. And again, I’m not at that point yet. I believe in Jonathan Ganon’s messaging, but this season’s gotten away from him. Like I can’t defend against the people that are saying like you just got to start over. Even with the coaching candidates being egregious. Uh my my thing with even believing in the coaching staff we have right now is it would be one thing if there was movement of after all the talk like we week in and week out we hear the oh we got to be better or this could have been done better that could have been done better we’ll get it fixed I believe in the scheme that we’re using and the scheme is just not working right so it it’s getting to a point where I I can understand fans are the fans of the Cardinals are just they’re checking out right and with all due respect they should Right? You’re not giving anybody out here any type of hope, right? And the worst part is you put yourself in position to win football games in the first two or three quarters and then you blow it, but your whole fan base is sitting there at the end of the game when you have a seven-point lead or you have a three-point lead, when you should win the game, where you’re in opportunity, when you have an opportunity to win the game, and you just can’t convert. No. So, it’s like you sit here and then you come to this and you see the chat and you see what people are saying. It’s like we kind of knew they were going to find a way to lose that game to begin. We all felt we all felt that they were going to blow that game. You don’t you haven’t had a killer mentality since Bruce Arens was here. Like like you it’s a problem. We go into games and and like I thought you were establishing that last year. You were 6 and4 at the buy Britain. I’m going to read you some numbers. I’m I’m updating them weekly because they’re relevant. The Arizona Cardinals now in their last 15 games are 4 and 11. That’s not like hey you know that’s the old regime and we’re trying to scrub. No, that’s this regime in what should be peaking. You should be peing in 18 to 36 months of a new regime and you’re going backwards. Subsequently, now we have enough evidence you are a bad team against good teams. You have lo you can beat, you know, Spencer Rattler and Bryce Young in the first and second week of the season. Congratulations. Here’s your medal. But you should have lost those two. you have lo they have lost eight straight games against teams with a winning record dating back to last year. I mean like I there’s just there’s no defending this. The people who who said fire everybody, fire this coaching staff like I mean like you’re you’re getting enough from your offense these last two games. You have a defensive head coach. You have your players. Snuff out this game. Jordan Love was comfortable the entire game. Like it honestly felt we said it on our halftime show and go back and check the tape. It’s like if Jordan Love and and and Josh Jacobs when they want to get comfortable, they they can’t. Whereas like Jacobe Brassette, God love him, just hanging on for dear life, he orchestrated 23 points and your defense gave up 21 points in the second half. I just can’t can’t defend what I’m watching. The like we we you are on Jonathan Ganon and Monty Austin are on a trial run now for the rest of the year again. Like you you can’t be two and five in year three of a rebuild. You just can’t. No. And and it’s it’s the same mistakes that we’ve seen since they since they started, right? Since year one, right? Even when you you were so everybody was so excited to get Kyler back in week 10 or whatever it was the first year they had it. Yep. And we saw you got a little bit of hope and then it went gone. And then last year you had a little bit of hope for a few games and then it disappeared. Yep. Right. This year you have you’ve had an opportunity to win seven games. You have been in position to be seven and0. Now, to say they were going to do it, no. It’s just not realistic. It’s a stretch with with with with all you have. But the fact is, you’ve played seven games so far this season, and you’ve had an opportunity to win seven games. Yep. And you’ve completely blown every game. I mean, even even if you want to say the five that you’ve lost, you have completely blown four out of the five. Yeah. I mean, like, you weren’t really in like that’s that’s the game. You were never in it until the end. You got outplayed by Everything was outplayed. out played, out coached, everything. And then all of a sudden in the end, you got a couple good breaks, you made a couple good catches, you made some you scored some touchdowns, and it put you back in the game. But outside of that, four out of the last five, you have actually had an opportunity to win this game. This staff can’t win close games. You look back to last year and like they could blow out the Jets and the Patriots and some bad teams, but like close games against the Vikings or the Seahawks, like like it’s an indictment of them leading by seven plus points three straight weeks. you blow those games like that’s that’s coaching by the time you get to the fourth quarter like this this league is one or loss you know this Britain one possession games are won and lost by coaching staffs this this is not like we’re watch what we’re watching with Tennessee right now and there’s a talent discrepancy unless they play the Cardinals when they’re playing the Patriots or some other teams and they’re getting blown out right like we we we watch that in 2023 it’s like yeah talent discrepancy will give grace right you can get blown out by the Ravens and the Bengals and like okay no problem. McAffrey can run for five touchdowns against you. You’re good. But when the talent is even, or dare I say you have better talent than your opponent, you better not be blowing these games. If the talent is equal, this is on the coaching staff every week. We want to get to our player of the game. Uh, of course, it’s our guy Trey McBride. Uh, did everything he could. 10 catches, 74 yards, two touchdowns, was an absolute menace on the field. Loved what I saw from big number 85. Cardinals just don’t have enough killers like Trey McBride. Unfortunately, Britain on this team and you know he’s got three touchdowns um in eight quarters of play with Jacob Reset. What’s going on right now with Kyler Murray? We’re going to talk about it right around the corner. Cardinals are major changers coming. Does it even matter who they start at quarterback? I want to remind everybody this is your count accountability cards podcast. This is your number one Cardinal podcast, your premier Arizona Cardinal podcast, but we’re the folks at the end of the day that are going to hold this team accountable for better or worse, right? We we had the hopium in the offseason as people referred to Britain Golden. We came into the season, we gave everybody the good graces, right? Doesn’t matter that you fell apart down the stretch two and five last year. Bring the same OC back. Bring the same coordinator back. Bring the same quarterback back. We like your offseason moves, but now you start this year two and five. Like you’re you’re you’re looking like a team right now, unfortunately, that you’re going to have wholesale changes the end of the year. Like, how how how does that not happen at this point? No, I agree. There’s going to be movement and it’s going to be coaching, it’s going to be players, it’s going to be one of those situations, right? And right honestly when we were talking about this you know after halftime right if if you’re looking for trade value right now you’re two and five. Yeah. Right. If you fully believe that Jacobe Brisset can you can do this and lead this offense and the way he has the last two weeks. Granted it’s been two weeks. I understand that. But if you fully believe that he can continue this. Yeah. Why not see what you can get for Kyler Murray right now? I mean the trade deadlines creeping up in about a month or so. I mean you’ve got it’s just options, right? Obviously, it’s just one of those things like you’re going to see a whole new It’s going to be an overhaul regardless unless the Cardinals just come out and win what how many games left. I think I think you got 11 games left. I think if the 10 games I think if the coaching staff they’re two and five right now, there’s 10 games left. I think if the coaching staff wants to remain here, they they need to win five more games. I think I think they have to go 500. I think they got to finish the season 7 and five games. You have to win. You’re gonna have to win seven games to go to Yeah. It’s just I I think I think honestly, like I just said, I think this is something that you have to do. You have to try to shop Kyler right now because this is the highest you’re going to get for him right now. If you put him back in and he doesn’t succeed as what and do as well as what Jacobe Bristlet’s done in the last two weeks for you, now you’re going to lose value for him, right? So, at this point, up until the trade deadline, I’m shopping. I mean, there’s teams, gosh, we watched a couple teams today that are dying for a quarterback, right? Dying for a quarterback. So, I mean, get what you can get. You might be able to get you a You might even be able to get a second round pick for Kyler right now, but you can get a hold. You can get some picks. You can get maybe somebody else that can help you in the trade. I mean, I don’t know. It’s maybe you can find a way to get an offensive lineman or right tackle out of a Kyler Murray trade or something like that. It’s just it’s one of those things where you’ve got to get as much as you can get out of Kyler right now and find some ways and find something to help you. You got to argue like is is Kyler Murray’s value going to be higher than this? Like you I I don’t I don’t I don’t think his value gets any higher, especially if you put him back in the game and he doesn’t have the success as what Jacob had and then you and then he’s susceptible to injury. I I I think it’s something you have to entertain. Um, and again like I I only think like do you believe Let me ask you this cuz I think this plays a part to it. Do you believe this coaching staff when they say Kyler Murray not Jacobe Brassette gives us the best chance to win? Do you believe that? I I don’t know. I I don’t I don’t I don’t know if you can go that route because offensively offensively Jacobe Brisset has run this. He’s thrown the ball. I mean we’ve we have passing yards five five touchdowns, one interception and and for four to one. I’m sorry. Yeah, but he’s thrown for over what, 500 yards in two games, right? So, it’s just one of those things, right? I mean, it’s you can you can wait to the off season to trade Kyler if that’s what you want to do or you can trade him now. Trading him now, there’s there’s enough teams out there that are going to that Well, I’m not going to say they will. I don’t know what I’m not a GM or what’s going on, but I see people pushing back like it’s crazy to to put that out there. Well, they’re going to trade him in the off like with anybody who anybody who thinks this is going to end with like, hey, this is going to end with Cardinal fans sitting here and everybody’s back and everybody’s in a position to say, “Okay, we’re good to go. We’re going to run get back JG and Pine and Ganon and everybody else.” Like, if you’re in that spot, like, I’m sorry, that’s not how the NFL works. Kyler Murray’s contract is movable this off season. Frankly, it’s movable right now. You’ve got teams who feel like they’re a quarterback away like the like the Vikings to me like that Carson Wentz was atrocious today, right? You’re making mistakes. We’ve seen what they’ve been able to do with quarterbacks on the fly with Josh Dobs in years prior. Like I I think you at least make the calls. You you at least see because like entertaining, right? I like I’m not saying like put a report out with Sher and say like Kyler Murray’s being shot because then you can’t go back with him playing for you. But like you’re two and five. your two best most efficient quarterback performances to come with your backup. This coaching staff is on life support right now. Like Kyler Murray’s an asset right now and also you’re you’re picking in the top you’re not you’re top nine in in um draft order right now and and you’re it’s razor thin with strength of schedule and everything else like you need assets. You need assets to go up and get a quarterback. Like it I I think there’s a better chance like Monty Austin Ford survives this. If I had to say right now I think both Austin Ford and Ganon survive this. But I I think Monty can sell it to Bidwell. Like look at all these assets that we just got to get people back healthy. If you’re Monty Austin for man, you you got to have assets go up and get a quarterback. Like your quarterback of the future is not on the roster right now. Like this like Drew Petting, Jonathan Ganon, and Kyler Murray that it doesn’t fit. It’s not a fit. So you might as well go out and say, you know what, we’re going to find a fit for K1. We’ll do right by him because you’re two and five. Nobody takes you seriously right now. Well, no. And I think we started to see quarterback situation like you’re this offense isn’t built for a mobile quarterback that’s going to get in and out. Right. Right. It’s run more efficiently with a big quarterback that’s going to sit and stand in the pocket and throw the football. Yeah. Right. So if you’re going to have to move on, you’re going to move on. Right. Now they’re going to make the decision on when they want to move on with it. It has nothing to do with what we say. No, but you know, it’s just Oh, Austin Ford, I’m sure will be entertaining everything. I I think you have to at two and five. Yeah. It doesn’t really matter what you do now. You just don’t have there’s nothing advantageous about your schedule for the rest of the way out. I’m sorry. This season becomes finding a way to elevate your young players and then getting a quarterback in the draft. That’s what it becomes. Here’s Jonathan Ganon. No, man. Let’s run through these presser clips. Here’s JG after yet another loss. I thought we were okay in a run game after the turnover. Gave up two explosives, scored. Um, and then on the last drive, we got to figure out a way to get off. You know, we did some good things on third down. I think they converted two or three. Got to have it. So, um, just got to put them in the right position and win. Um, I just told them they got to, you know, we’re hitting a buy here on a skid and we dug ourselves a hole. There’s no doubt about it. Um, we’re going to have to dig ourselves out of it and then it’s going to be us that does it. So, got to get reset, rest up mentally, physically, emotionally. Uh, we got to reset ourselves and then we’ll come back to work. What we got? John and Ganon also confirming to our Bo Brock that Kyler Murray will be the quarterback when he’s healthy enough to play. Um, and by all and large that that right now is Monday Night Football a week uh two weeks from tomorrow after the buy against the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas. It’s a stadium Kyler Murray’s never lost in. Um, and again, like Cowboys are playing well. Cardinals, I would imagine. I haven’t checked with Bet 365, they’ll be a robust underdog in that game. So, I mean, like I can’t if you’re the Cardinals, cuz the fan base isn’t thinking like this, but if you’re the Cardinals, you you can’t preach patience. You can’t preach continuity and let us have time to get it right. My man, you are out of time. That I can’t emphasize that enough. The fan base is over this. Whatever. This is the loser mentality in the fourth quarter. Done. Dunzo, right? I love JG. We’ve had him on the show a couple time. You got to win games in the NFL. This is not the NBA when you can be a Max player and and a losing player and be grandfathered in and make big money forever. Like the NFL is a cutthroat business and you’re in the NFC West, which is the biggest dog fight in the NFL with premier Hall of Fame level coaches and executives. And like every week everybody can pencil you in. Cardinals blow it. Cardinals blow it. We’ll disregard everything that they do for the first three quarters. They’re blowing it in the fourth quarter. That’s your identity now. All right. And it’s one of those things like you said, patience. You can’t preach patience in year three. I it like you said, you’re out of time. You’ve you’ve been given two and a half seasons, right, to preach your patience and the patience isn’t paying off, right? Nothing’s working. So, I mean, you’re going to Dallas on Monday Night Football in two weeks and Dallas what? They put up 44 points today. That’s an offense that’s moving the football right now. They’re healthy. They got all the receivers back going. Dak is playing well. I It’s going to put a defense out there that’s tired because you can’t get it done offensively. I mean, like Britain Jacobe Brassette largely outplayed Jordan Love today. Let’s get to counting cards here on a PHX Cardinals postgame show. Jordan Love 19 of 29, 179 a touchdown. Jacobe Brassette while getting sacked six times threw the ball 36 times, 279, two touchdowns, almost eight yardds of completion, 110 quarterback rating, almost 111, lost this game. I mean, it’s just it’s unthinkable. They they got another you got the exact kind of game you needed from him. Again, you knew you’d probably be like, “Okay, Jacobe Brc’s going to turn the ball over probably once, but can we force a turnover? Can we disrupt Jordan Love? Nothing. You got nothing. Marvin Harrison Jr. six targets, 58 yards. It’s an anomaly again. We bring it up every week. We don’t know what’s going on. And then of course Collins with the one loan pressure it feels like on Jordan Love. I mean, I like here here’s a big problem. If you’re an Arizona Cardinal fan, you’re not only losing games in the fourth quarter with this staff, you lost the coaching advantage in the offseason when you let Clayton Adams go subsequently in the offse to the Dallas Cowboys. So now you can’t protect 6X today against against a team like Micah Parsons. Everybody’s like, “What’s wrong with Michael Parsons?” Well, he’ll play the offensive line for the Arizona Cardinals. Yeah, this was this was the get back game for Michael Parsons. But I think the biggest knock on it on it there is Marvin Harrison. Yeah. He’s your wide receiver one and he had six six targets. Like what are we doing? Yeah. Like it’s just one of those things like I I understand Trey got his Trey Trey needs 10 to 15 targets a game because one he’s the most consistent player on your offense and he has been since he’s been in Arizona. All right. But if you’re going to try to get a number one receiver on track, you can’t be coming in here with six targets. He’s your number one. Like, you know, he’s got Marvin needs to have 8 to 10. Trey needs to have 10 to 12. Like, it’s got to be one of those things where you got to go. If Trey doesn’t have at least 10 targets a game, there’s something wrong. Yeah, there’s something extremely wrong. And the problem is Marvin needs to be in that category where he’s got 8 to 10. Now, if he’s not catching 8 to 10 that are catchable, then you have an excuse for it. But the fact of the matter is, he had one ball that was a bang bang that got batted out today. Outside of that, right, he got open a couple times. There was two bad throws from Jacobe today, too. He had two bad throws where Marvin was wide open than he should have had. But outside of that, it’s like there’s got to be there’s got to be more targets for your number one guys. Yeah. I we got this quote from Jacob Brousette saying that the offense was on silent count cuz there were so many Packer fans in the stadium. You know what I would say that? Win games. Win games. Look at ASU yesterday. It’s the most loudest we had somebody tell us before the show is the loudest the stadium’s ever been because they’re a winning program. They came back in the fourth quarter, showed some gusto in the fourth quarter, blew a game, then came back and won it. Win games. I was at the Thursday night football game when the Cardinals were 7 and0 against the Packers once upon a time and they blew that game. That place was as loud as I’ve ever heard it. Probably 70 75% Packer fans or excuse me, Cardinal fans. If you win games, that takes care of itself. I’m sorry. You want somebody to like wipe the tears away cuz you had to go silent count. I’m not saying Jacobe Brassette, you know, emphasize that, but like no one feels bad for you. Like Cardinal fans are sick and tired of losing. It’s It’s been losing season after losing season after losing season with this regime. You You are not allowed to go into a third year of a regime and be two and five. Can’t do it. If you had to if you had to make one change before the buy, what change would you make? Is there any that stand out to you? I’m putting Beach at right tackle. Okay. I I mean, it can’t get any worse. Let’s just be honest. And Beach has been known when Beach has gotten in the game, he’s he’s done good things. Yeah. I’m not saying he’s a starting right tackle, but anything’s got to be better than what’s out there at right tackle right now. I mean, Micah Parsons lined up was lining up on both sides of the field to start the game. He walked over there to Jonah Williams and had one pass rush over there and said, “I’m not leaving this side of the field because I’m going to be in the back field every single play.” And I I got it’s you you’ve got to find something like I mean, you didn’t even start to help Chip until you got to the end of the fourth quarter. Yeah. And then you tried to put um Michael Carter out there to chip, which you got him to slow down a little bit, but outside of that, like you’ve got to do something outside at right tackle because it’s just not good enough. Uh I’m being inundated with with mentions and texts and DMs, people saying they want Jonathan Ganon fired. I I here’s where I’m at with it is like as much as I like him as a person and think in the right set of circumstances like he can turn this team around. My biggest argument for keeping Jonathan Ganon during the losing streak to start pre Jacobe Brassette was well the defense was playing well and now you’re in a position where the defense is kind of the root cause of your undoing which is a indictment in and of itself. Bo can you hear me? We’ve got Bo Brock on the field at State Farm Stadium. He can hear us here. Uh, give me a thumbs up. You’re good. Oh, we’re still waiting here. While we await Bo Brock, let’s hear more from both Jonathan Ganon and Jacobe Brassette. Yeah, a loss is a loss. Now, with saying that, how are you losing? Um, which this might even sound worse is I know we’re close. Um, it’s not like we’re getting the the break speed off of us. First, a good football team. Give them credit. Um, but we’re not doing enough, you know, and ultimately that falls on me, you know, so I’m disappointed in myself cuz we, you know, we got to figure out a better way. We’ve tried a couple things, but we got to figure out a better way to get ourselves in better position to win. Um, you know, if if we were in this type of hole, um, having played the way we’ve played, um, and the scores being super lopsided, um, we would still have to dig ourselves out of the hole, but you probably wouldn’t feel as good as you can right now as you sit myself sitting here in front of you guys. Um, it’s terrible to be two and five. Not where we want to be, not where we thought we were going to be, but that’s in the past. Um, and we see that we’re we’re near it. We just got to do better. Thought he played well. I mean, you know, he he we converted seemed like we converted some third downs, a couple third down, third and longs. Um, stood in there, operated. I didn’t think we had any operational issues, you know, with the with the noise. Um, you know, he gave us a chance to win. I’m proud of him. Seven games in, we’ll do a we’ll do a deep dive and we got to get it corrected, you know, and that’s, you know, every losing coach, I’m sure, stands up here and says the same But until we do it, that’s going to keep happening. You know what I mean? And I fall into that boat, you know? Like I said, it starts with me. I’m sitting in there, you know, after the game and it’s like, damn, like, I got to do more. I got to do something more. Um, but I I really do believe in the people that we have. So, that’s a positive. Um, there’s no doubt that’s a positive. And they will battle. They will fight. I know that. Um, you know, going back losing how we’ve lost a couple of these games, two good teams in a row here. Uh, we went toe-to-toe with them. We just got to play a little better. Being just short. Yeah. Uh, tough. Um, you know, That’s what you want. You want a chance at the end of the game. Like I said last week, you want a chance to win it. Um, you know, it’s a couple plays in the game that would have helped us not be in that situation. Um, that I that’s eating at me right now. But, um, you know, proud of the way our guys fought. Thought they came out. Our guys answered the bell well. Um, you know, it’s I got to do a better job of finishing at the end end of the game and making the right decisions and and some throws that um, you know, would have more than likely changed the outcome of this game. Yeah, that is it’s on me. I got I mean, they put trust in me to get those. I have full trust in myself to get it. It’s just, you know, it was it was on me. as we bring Bo Brock on here on a PHX Cardinals postgame show. Bo, we just heard from head coach Jonathan Ganon. I’m going to tell you right off the bat, like I I understand his point about, you know, they’re not getting their brakes beat in and like that that sounds commendable cuz your team hasn’t quit, but in year three of a rebuild and now a team that’s built to win now, I mean, the fact that they’re they’re still losing these games, I I just that’s a tough cell for me in a fan base right now that this regime is thoroughly below 500. They they’ve shown you no indication that they are the right people to turn this around. So your assessment of Jonathan Ganon in the postgame presser. Yeah. I mean you’re beaten down, right? I mean this is five consecutive losses and four out of five of them have happened what in the final two minutes of the game. Three of them were walk-offs and this one was minute 50. You give up the go ahead score gamewinning score to Josh Jacobs. And then the previous week you give it with under five minutes left. It’s just a gut-wrenching way to lose. And sure, yeah, you might look at the final score, you might look as far as the differential between you and the teams you lost to and it’s uh under 15 points and that doesn’t doesn’t make anybody feel any better. It’s just you’re not finding ways to get over the hump. You’re not finding ways to finish the game once again. Left the door open both offensively and defensively and you let them score and they came away with the win and you went home with your tail between your legs. Fifth straight loss going into the by two and five. uh your assessment of of the quarterback situation. We briefly touched on it. I mean, I think at this point, they’re not thinking like this, but I mean, they’re ninth in the draft standings. They’re two and five. They’re not going to be favored maybe for the rest of the year. Um I I mean, do you do you take calls on Kyler Murray? Are you in a position where clearly Jacob Brassett’s a better fit for this offense? Now, I don’t know if Jacobe can can hold up for 10 more games. who was sacked 10 six times today. Bo, but like your belief of what the not what you think they should do, but what you what you believe the Cardinals will do here over the bye-week. Yeah. Would that be the latter? I I don’t think that that’s going to be something they’re going to actively seek out. I mean, is it going to be something that maybe they might be tantalized? Is is there a team out there that feels like they’re quarterback away that that needs to make a big aggressive play for it? That’s the only thing. It’s like the Monty Osaport thing. He talked about uh trading down from fourth overall. like he loves his house, but uh if you don’t if you come in and give him an unbelievable offer, he’s going to think twice about it, right? But I I don’t think that that’s something that’s really immediately on their radar. But, you know, the reality is Kobe Brassette came in and played another solid game. 279 passing with two touchdowns after 320 and two touchdowns. I mean, he’s been able to kind of unlock the downfield passing attack. You’ve seen guys get involved like Vy Jones, Michael Wilson, Trey McBride with two touchdowns today that have otherwise had quiet starts to their season. So Brassette has put themselves the team in a good position. Now I mean Jacobe Brassette also had some opportunities to be kind of the the guy that is going to be the difference maker in winning these football games. We talked about a big second and nine that he missed Marvin Harrison Jr. on. That was on their final offensive drive before the Packers went up. Marvin was open. He said it was easiest throw to date and he missed it. He’s putting a lot of blame on him and also putting blame on himself for coming up short on that fourth and one. But I mean Britain, we talked about like this offense for the most part when you’re a defensive le team like the Cardinals have a defensive head coach, they have a coordinator who we we think highly of and Nick Wallace. Like you’re you’re you’re scoring enough to win this kind of game. A game like where the Packers they’ve been susceptible to like good defenses against Cleveland, right? They got their break speed beat in by the Browns and Miles Garrett. Like, you’re at home. You can’t allow the Packers to score 21 second half points. No, you can’t. And and especially when you finally got your offense clicking, right? You got your offense moving. Your offense has put up 23 points. And this is back toback weeks where your offense has put up 20 plus points, right? And been in a position to win the game, right? And to be a defensive head coach and you’re leaning so much on this defense, your defense played extremely well in the first two quarters, right? outside of a few mistakes, but they played really well the first half and in the second half we see this kind of like week in week out. You get to the second half and it seems like offensively if you have a lead, you go into this conservative mode and now you’re going three and out or you’re going five, six plays and punting or doing this and doing that and now your defense is on the field for an extreme a longer amount of time than they were in the first half. So where they’re getting off the field in the first half and you’re scoring points and you’re putting drives together, you’re not putting drives together in the second half, right? You’re doing the conservative thing where it’s first down and everybody in their mom knows you’re doing an inside handoff, right? And then you get negative yards on the inside handoff and then you get a sack and now you’re in third and long and you converted two extremely long third downs today. But I mean still it just wasn’t enough. Like there’s it’s got to be a point to where this defense has to find a way really the offense has to find a way to extend drives in the second half because you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage because your defense is out there the entire second half and then there’s a long drive that the opposite team’s going on and you’re expecting a tired worn out defense to be able to handle it and they’re just they’re they’re gassed. Uh if you look back at the third quarter where this game kind of turned Bo, the Packers punted, Jacobe Brassette fumbled, the Packers and scored a touchdown, tied the game. Then the Cardinals scored a touchdown. Then they let the Packers come right back and score a touchdown. And then of course the the the fateful fourth down play. I liked the call, Bo, by John, to go for it. I had no problem with going for it. I didn’t love the play call. and then subsequently, you know, getting beat on fourth and two. I I just How would you grade kind of the situational coaching awareness of the final minutes of this game by JG staff? I I don’t have an issue with the fourth and one call. I mean, it’s been extremely successful with Jacobe Pet this season. I mean, it’s something that he’s he’s followed through. Now, people have clapped back on social media and said it was a little bit further than just a fourth and one would indicate. It’s probably closer to fourth and two there, but I mean we’ve seen Jacobe Brassette push the, you know, the line of scrimmage and get beyond about two, three, four yards on some of these sneaks. Uh, I mean, it just seemed like it was kind of a move to change play and it it blew up in their face and, you know, you look at how well they played in the interior defensive line in the trenches for the Packers and maybe hindsight 2020, it wasn’t the best call, but I don’t have an issue with it. As far as the fourth and two, you look you look like the Packers are going to kick that field goal come out and you know it’s Packers there. The refs just let him play on that and they were able to come up with a a big play. It didn’t seem like Rabbit was anywhere close to Tucker Craft and it was that was it. That was that was like the kind of the the drive defining play and then they punch it in for the score. But like you guys said, like three out of your four drives are ending touchdowns after just surrendering six in the first half and barely six because they need like a 61 yder uh to to get that, you know, set that field goal right by the end of the half. It’s just you got to find ways to put games away and you got to find points when you can get them. Like I’m thinking about, you know, chance where you had points right in front of you and Mark can’t secure the catch on uh an early in the first half play where it almost turned into a fumble the other way, but like that would have been potentially points. You would have been in scoring range at that point. You got the Jacobe fumble, you got the fourth and one issue. Like there’s so many blaring issues now that are amplified uh by this being another loss. I want to uh Bo ask you what changes you think could be coming during the by-week, but again we’re going to do a little by the numbers here on the postgame show. And I felt like the Cardinals had the ball again majority of this game. They I I thought Jacobe Brassette dominated uh in terms of like statistically like the Cardinals same amount of rushing yards, better on third downs, better in total yards, better in passing yards, better in time of possession. Still found a way to lose this game. They lost the turnover battle one to zero. So that wasn’t as damning. But again, you think about the situational awareness of this team. Britain, you mentioned it. Like giving up the kick at the end of the half, turning the ball over that led to points. Fourth quarter, the Packers are making the plays that you can’t make. I mean, that that’s just that’s just a team that’s as well coached as there is with Matt Laflur in the NFL that knows how to win. And right now, and this is probably the biggest indictment of this regime, this regime does not know how to win cuz if they if they did, they’d be able to finish these games off. Whereas the Packers, they make a living off doing this. Oh, I agree. The the situational awareness, especially at the end of the first half, like it’s what we’ve seen all year from the defense and frankly the offense as well. When you get into a situation where you have a lead, right? You put yourself in a position where it’s like, “Oh, let’s just go back to this prevent. Let’s just try to not allow a touchdown, right? And at the end of the half, you give up a 30 yard pass that puts him in in field goal range, right? The guy may not granted it’s a 61 yard field goal, right? Which is apparently starting to become a more common thing in the NFL now. All these kickers can kick it from that distance, but just putting yourself in that situation like you don’t need to be in there. Just continue playing the defense that you’ve been playing, especially in the first half cuz it was working. In the first half, it was working. You were getting off the field. Even when he did it, you held him to three points when he was in that situation. And there’s 30, however many seconds were left in that half. Yeah. And you give up, what was it? I think it was down to what, seven seconds. And you give up this big or whatever it was. You give up this big pass play. Yep. And you’re in field goal range. And now you make a 61 yard field goal and it goes from a 10-point lead to a seven-point lead at halftime, right? At the end of the game, right? You had 48 plus seconds, right? You get a first down, but you don’t call timeout, right? and you let 20 seconds tick off the clock and then you get sacked and now your your back’s against the wall. Now you’re 40 yards from the end zone and you’ve got 20 seconds to get there in two plays. I I just it’s just the common theme that we’ve seen all year long. The situational football has not been well. The Cardinals, it’s like the coaching staff just completely loses all all credibility when it comes to a lead. When you get a lead, they just, okay, let’s just go back, right? We’re playing pee-wee football. Let’s just hand the ball off and run inside zone all day long and see if we can run the clock out. Yeah. But you can’t because you’re not getting any yards. Yeah. So, it’s just one of those things like just keep going with what’s working. You were moving the football fine throwing the ball downfield, right? Continue giving Trey McBride those little six, seven, eight yardd catches. If he’s got 21 receptions at the end of the game, I don’t care if you’re moving the ball forward. It’s just one of those things where running on first down, which is completely predictable. Everybody knows you’re running the football on first down. Everybody knows that, right? And and you continue to do it and wonder why you’re getting negative plays, right? It’s the situational football is it’s not necessarily it you’re starting to look at it from a coaching standpoint instead of a player standpoint. Yes, players need to make plays, but you’re not putting them in advantageous positions. Yeah, 100% agree. Hit that like button. Get us to a thousand likes on this postgame show. I I I wholeheartedly agree. I thought the uh the final drive before relinquishing the the lead where it’s just like, “Okay, Drew, here’s your opportunity.” Like the first play, I was I was pleasantly surprised. It was a nice little pass to to Michael Carter. He takes it down for a first down and then it’s just like Britain’s saying, they kind of revert back and they said, “Okay, now they they give it to Carter and it’s one a carry for one yard and it’s second and nine.” And sure, you’d like to you like the pass play to Marv, but they can’t connect there, but you’re putting yourself, you know, in a position where you have to get chunk yardage the rest of the way. Cardinals blow game in the in the fourth quarter. We talked about it like we’ve been asking every day, Bo, on our daily podcast. here on PHNX Sports. What’s the Cardinals identity? I think we found it now. Their identity is they blow games in the fourth quarter. Like that’s who they are. Donnie Drew tweeting out a stat that they’re the first team in NFL history to blow a seven-point game leading in the fourth quarter each of the each of the last three games. So, I’m going to ask you, what changes could be coming during the by-week? They’re going to have 15 days off between now and when they play Dallas on Monday Night Football. What are reasonable changes that Cardinal fans could expect, if any? Yeah, that is a tough question that I I think you’d be hardressed to find an answer for. Like where where would they turn to and say, “Hey, you’re not doing your job.” I mean, I know and maybe Britain can back me up. Maybe it’s something as little as looking at the quality control coaches there where you look at the minor details where where guys are blowing it, but I I don’t know, man. And I I just don’t see any kind of significant changes coming. Especially when you hear sound bites saying they feel like they’re close and they just feel like there there’s there’s not like wholesale changes that are going to make this thing look any better that they they just need to get a win. Like they feel they like the guys they have and you know it’s unfortunate because you’ve lost five straight and that’s just putting yourself in a tremendous hole and the season is is right there. It’s it’s on life support if not already gone. Um, you got to have something that’s going to juice up this organization. I just don’t know where that move comes from, who they’re they’re willing to part ways with. I don’t think it exists. I, as much as everybody would like to see people get the X, I just don’t it’s like B said, I just don’t think there’s there’s room or you don’t have enough depth on that coaching staff to get rid of people. I mean, we’ve talked about it for the last three or four weeks really since the season started. You fire the OC, who’s calling plays, right? Right. And then we’ve also discussed that the pass game coordinator that did call plays in the preseason, it was atrocious. So, it’s it’s to the point to where yeah, you would love to see changes and people want to see changes, but I I I just don’t and there’s not a real history of guys getting fired mid-season here. Not history at all. It’s almost like they’ve built it like it’s like their teflon like we don’t want to B and I talked about this this week. You can’t fire Ganon because the the options externally right now are atrocious like in the free agent coaching pool like Lu Anarumo and Mike Kfka again like no thanks. You can’t fire Drew Petting because the offense looks better with Jacobe Brassette and there’s nobody else to call plays. You can’t fire Nick Rollis like you can’t fire the special teams coach. Like I I I think like Britain brought up a great point, Bo. I I think like Kelvin beat him at right tackle maybe you make that that’s a start. Like get Jonah Williams off this team. That was an atrocious contract in hindsight. He got absolutely worked. You let Micah Parsons have a get right game after being lukewarm all year. He’s going to get defensive player of the week. Get Jonah Williams out of the lineup and then like start cutting these like Balo Nichols awful again today trying to run perimeter to perimeter. I’m sorry. Like I I I would be cutting and trading players. Like if you’re Michael Bidwell and you have you have faith in this regime and you believe this regime is going to be around. I I’ve seen enough of a lot of guys and I’m with Britain Golden like I I’m going through the roster. I don’t care what your tenure is. If teams are interested like this, the Cardinals are going nowhere. They’re two and five. They’re an embarrassment. They’re you’re not close. When you’re two and five, you can’t sell people on faith and optimism and patience. Bo, I I think you look to the roster and you start letting guys go. I mean, it’s both ways, though, cuz you can look at it from the outside on the coaching aspect and be like, look, it’s this is a this is a business, right? We’ve seen coaches get fired for way less. Like you even want to go down to the college football. There’s coaches in college football that got fired after starting 0 and three. Got I mean Florida just got fired and he’s three and four, right? It’s to the point where we’re in year three of the same nonsense going on and going on. So do I I mean I don’t understand. I mean you can fire everybody honestly cuz I mean look there’s a possibility that you lose the next 10 games. I mean, Ganon, so it’s really not going to matter who’s a head coach because there’s still a possibility that you lose 10 games to go out and finish two and 16. Ganon is is Bow’s 14 and 27 right now, right? People like you’ve people have been fired way before this. Four and 13, 8 N 2 and five, right? I think he gets to the end of the season though, don’t you? I mean, I don’t know. As tight as it is, right? because I think you understand that even it and a loss is a loss and he’s admitting that today and uh but like you you can’t make this an unwatchable product as gut-wrenching as it is and it just rips goes through your chest and pulls your heart out each and every week. They’re they’re in games tight and they’re playing competitive. So I I don’t think that that’s where you know you just weren’t competing week in and week out. So I think the coaching staff is safe there. But when you I I think the roster moves you guys suggested like as far as the right tackle spot and then with Walter Nolan Jun the third on his way back there’s going to be it’s going to be a tight defensive line room. So uh maybe it is a Nicholls who’s who’s cast off finally uh after kind of getting a second life here with this team. We’re going into overtime here on a postgame show. And uh gentlemen, are you ready? Let’s jump into some super chats here on a postgame show. Um and we got, you know, a decent amount here. MacDaddy 714, guys. I’m just tired. A lot of people are. A lot of people are tired. I I I’m tired of losing. I I don’t And again, Ganon doesn’t know what to say cuz there’s nothing really to say at this point. Like if you’re losing close games, they count the same as if you’re blown out. Eric, uh, or excuse me, Alex, 499. I’ve never seen a team be so close to being good yet so far away, Bo, at the same time. Do you think it’s a personnel issue? Do you think it’s a coaching issue? What would you quantify this as? You got to look at both sides. Yeah, but either way, somebody needs to come up, make a play, get off the field, you know, end the game, get get in victory formation once. They can’t. Well, that the when you look at it, the two wins like we’re sitting here talking about like we shouldn’t even have two wins. Two two bad football teams. Two bad football teams. The Saints should have should have beat the Cardinals and the Panthers should have beat the Cardinals, right? Like nothing in this season tells me that we should be even two and five. It should easily be an 0 and seven season. And on the flip side, you’ve been in enough games to where this could be a five and two season. No doubt. But it’s I like I don’t know. It’s both. Like you said, somebody on the roster has got to step up and be the guy that makes the play, right? And it’s got to be somebody other than Jay McBride because I don’t know how much else he can do. Where’s Buddha Baker? I mean, good lord. Like, where are the leaders on this team right now? Eric Lambert, $5. I want to be the first to congratulate Bet for being the new starting QB of the Arizona Cardinals. Bo, give me the odds that Jacobe Brassette starts Monday Night Football. um 1%. Wow. So, you’re you’re staunchly committed to the fact Kyler Murray’s coming back. He’s playing. He won’t be traded. He won’t be benched. And if Put it this way, if the first half of Monday Night Football is bad, at what point do you go back to? I think you let Kyler probably play the whole game and then you Yeah, I don’t know. That’s such a bleak reality. I would I would keep continue to play Jacobe just because like I feel like you’re moving the ball downfield with Jacob. You the I don’t want to go back to whatever I watched earlier this year. Eight yards completion is nicer than 3.7 yards of Go ahead, Bo. Oh, and you got a chance on third down now. I mean, it’s been unbelievable what what you’ve seen from, you know, the right arm Jacobe Brousette. He’s I think he’s got 11 big play passes in his last two games where the team had seven in their first five and it’s just like, yeah, he’s unlocked that. But I think now you have to see what you’ve got. And Kyler, I I think that now you’ve got to maintain what you’ve said and Ganon said it in the post game today. He said nothing’s changed. He remains quarterback one when he’s healthy. I see people pushing back like I I’m not saying Kyler isn’t better than Jacobe. We have seen this coaching staff is not capable of playing the kind of offense that Kyler Murray needs to be able to be successful. That’s it. Like that’s what it is. Kyler just doesn’t fit, right? It’s not a fit. If you want Kyler to be QB1 here, you have to get rid of Drew Petting. And like now now you’re talking about like because Drew Ping doesn’t his offense isn’t catered to to put Kyler in anything that’s advantage. And he can’t scheme Kyler Murray in offense. That’s it. That that’s and so like if if I’m Drew Psoning, I want to play Jakob because I can’t scheme an offense for the alternative. But we’ve seen that where he the offense that Drew Petting runs. You’ve seen it. It’s it’s Cleveland, right? Right. And Cleveland succeeds, right? They’re struggling a little bit like Joe, they were struggling with Joe Flacco, but with Joe Flacco, you were completing passes. And again, you had a big body quarterback that’s going to sit in the pocket and deliver the football. He’s not worried about running and creating things with his legs because he’s just not that guy. The difference is when you have Kyler Murray in the pocket, when when the pocket breaks down, he can find a gap and shoot a gap and, you know, gain yards with his legs. All right, Jacobe did it a little bit, but for the most part, when Jacobe gets wrapped up or he gets the pocket collapses, it’s a sack. But you’re scoring 25 points per game with him. You were scoring 20 points per game with with Kyler and you couldn’t throw the ball. Iron $20. Thank you so much for the support on that level. Yet another bad play call by Pine. Fourth down QB keeper. No doubt with a continuous first down runs with third and fourth string running backs in the fourth quarter. Not to mention Pine never covers his face play calling like all others do. Why is he still here? We we’re we’re about what’s it’s October 20th 19th. Jacobe Brassette um is starting games for you in the year of our football lord 2025. I would say uh Drew Pine will be gone in uh two and a half months. Would you would you agree with that, Bo? Like I think we’re like Yeah, I I think Drew Pson’s got two and a half months as the OC for this team, then he’ll be gone. He doesn’t need to cover his face. They know what it doesn’t matter. I I mean I I was surprised on a couple of them like that third and forever when they were backed up before the end of the half and he hits 43 yards down the field as a Jones. I didn’t think he had I thought that was a season saver. I thought that play was was going to save their season. At least the guy could have. Yeah, could have. Let’s keep things going. Wolf just support 199. Thank you so much. Wolf a Kraken just saying pain. We all feel the pain right now. Hit that like button. Short stack goblin $9.99. Here’s the issue. Pine is a bad OC. Ganon is a mediocre head coach. Monty is a mediocre GM and Kyler is a mediocre QB. Uh silver lining, the next GM head coach has slightly more talent to start the rebuild. I will I agree with a lot of that right now. I think that’s the consensus with this fan base. Like I think Jonathan Ganon last year beatating bad teams. I I think that was great, right? And and winning a couple games that he shouldn’t have against the 49ers, but like it takes a different caliber of coach and quarterback and GM to compete in this division. Now, my only push back short stack goblin is if you fire everybody and you trade Kyler Murray, what what happens if you hire an Aaron Glenn? What happens if you hire a worse coach? You’d always be worse, right? You can always bring a clown show or you know operation in here. And like I don’t have the the most trust in Michael Bibwell to go pick out great people. I like I up until this season I was drinking the Kool-Aid Bow of this regime GM and head coach and people around the league love Ganon. So, it’s like I I think the most likely endgame here is that Ganon fires everybody on his offensive staff and then they get a new quarterback this off seasonason and Gon and Austin Ford are safe. Would you agree with that? Yeah, that would be a last stitch effort. It really would be. I mean, they got to show sign to life as far as some, you know, building blocks they have the rest of the season. But yeah, I mean that that’s when when you play and you lose this many games in a row throughout a season and you’re staring down another under 500, there’s going to be a head or two that are going to roll. So, uh, you start defense is going to have to do some things though between now and then to save itself, too. Let’s keep things going. A Moses, I’m tired of this, grandpa. No doubt about it. Josh, $2. Thank you. We know now the problem and it’s not even close. I’m I’m guessing he means Kyler Murray, but I they’re still losing games, but I I mean like Jacobe Brassette, does he beat Tennessee? Probably. Um Nathan or excuse me, uh Daryus 599. If we didn’t give up three before half, we win. Again, situational coaching awareness. Nick Rollins has not been good these last two games. And again, kiss to death because he’s playing teams with good offenses. Like, and we always knew it, Bo. We we knew that the Cardinals at some point were going to have to play good offenses. Yeah, look, and they’re going to have to play a really good offense when they come back from break on Monday Night Football. A Dallas team that put up another 40 burger today. Um, you’re you’re going to have to come and play some defense and the offense is going to have to stay hot. Uh, Nathan, uh, 499, terrible coaching, Josh on Tucker Craft. We don’t chip double Parsons until it’s too late. Yeah, Craft, I mean, he ate the Taylor Demerson alive. I mean, just like the P the Packers just felt so much more buttoned up in that fourth in that fourth quarter than the Cardinals. Yeah. And I I I know what play he’s talking about. You had down in the red zone, Tuck Craft caught that touchdown pass down there, right? You had Josh Sweat covering, right? He’s an edge rusher. Yeah. He’s he has no business. And Tucker Craft is a receiving tight end. Right. Right. He can run routs and he can catch the football downfield. Right. With safeties and other DBs covering him. And now you’re asking an edge rusher who has no business being in coverage. You’re asking him to cover him 10 to 15 yards downfield. That’s a matchup that if I’m an offensive coordinator, I’m going to exploit that every possible chance you give me. So, I I I didn’t I was with you on that one. I did not like the play call defensively to where if you’re going to do that, right? Just rush. Send six guys and just go to man coverage. Put a man on man with somebody that’s actually in coverage. Now, again, like you said, we saw Denver was getting abused by Denver just wasn’t strong enough to stand with Tucker. Tucker Craft got to the top of the route and used the old chicken wing, right? Larry used to be the goat at doing that getting out of out routes. He just chicken wing that little nickel and that guy weighing 180 lbs ain’t staying with 230. It’s the same thing as what Tucker did to Demerson today, right? He just using the body, use the chicken wing, you’re going to create space. He’s just not he doesn’t have enough weight behind him to stay with him. Oh, for sure. 999. Here’s Ro Beers, fellas into the season. Cheers, my guy. We got Tequila. We got Miller Light. We got Michelobra. And we got Sad Boy Vibes. Trevor 199. Uh defense and offense sucks. the season’s over. Uh I think that’s the consensus for a lot of people. Sean 999, thank you so much. Just some support. Libertarian Sasquatch, thank you for that, Sean. 499 friend of the program. JG is a defensive coach and the defense sucks. JG is a defensive coach and the offense sucks. Fire this bozo. I think the biggest indictment again last two weeks has been the the play of the defense. Like I you you you had an opportunity after your head coach was kind of dragged through the muck with that D Marcato situation to stand up and say like we’re going to play our best defensive football of the tenure and we got a quarterback who’s not making mistakes and extending drives and you’re you picked the worst time to have your two worst defensive performances. Yeah, Bo averaging close to 30 points given up per game. It’s it’s a tough look. Antonio 4129. So everyone and repeat head coach search cycle shaking my head. It’s a brutal look. So what you’re damned if you do you’re damned if you don’t at this point like and again Cardinals going to be able to they couldn’t entice Shawn Payeyton. I mean like they don’t have the new complex set up yet. They were charging for players you know for food before Michael Bidwell hired Jonathan Ganon. Like they’re just in a very difficult spot right now. You you you needed this season to go well for so many reasons. Ay Moses 89. Meanwhile, Clayton Adams offense put up 30 plus points for the fourth straight week, 40 plus for the third time this year. I’m gonna tell you right now, the coaching malpractice in the fourth quarter pales in comparison to Jonathan Ganon’s inability to evaluate his own offensive coaching staff. Like, think about this season how it’s been kind of magnified. You had a quarterback who didn’t fit your scheme and you and you didn’t tailor it around him and the backup’s better. Your play caller is worse than the guy who’s in Dallas who coached your offensive line. Justin Fry is not doing a great job. I mean, it’s just the the offensive malpractice. We thought they were running it back and everything would be fine. Like it that’s that’s why the season’s lost right now. His inability to do that. And I again, I think JG’s a great talent evaluator, but too many gaffs this off seasonason. It’s going to cost people their job. Sean $9.99. I’ve been in watching the Cardinals the last two games on vacation. Had to pay $27 to do so. Oh, brutal. We’d rather give it to you guys. Thank you so much. Collapse is what we do. waste of fans money and fire the OC just uh I I mean like Bo when you think about like trying to get people’s buy in you you have to give them a rationale right like I I I would I would hate to see this team sit on their hands the next two weeks I I think I think you got to take a wrecking ball to some of this whether it’s personnel firing people like we’re we’re going to be in November the next time this team plays football guess what that’s less than eight weeks away from the end of the season and you know what comes down on Black Monday firings. getting rid of people trades like I start that process now and get ahead of it. Yeah, sure. You got to rattle the cage, man. You got to send a message that that’s what’s going to, you know, keep people’s attention because they’ll at least turn in Monday night and say, “Hey, let’s see what it looks like now.” But yeah, if you just sit on your hands, it’s going to be a tough look. And u the only way you can change things then is getting a big win on the road. And and at this point, you’ve lost five. Trey Wolf 199 Jonathan P down my leg. Ganon rough. Noah man likes that one though. Not a great not a great nickname. Adam C. Maybe Patriots 5-2 with no roster. Just saying. Mike Barable’s an elite coach. We’ve seen that now. Drake May’s trending up. I mean, like that’s that’s what you want. We thought the Cardinals were trending up and they’ve been trending down for the better part of a year. Like since last October at the by-week, they have been one of the worst teams in the NFL. This can’t be disputed. I can’t support that. Not gonna sit up here and glaze over the fact that I like the head coach because I do and I like the GM because I do. It’s a production league. A lot of lot of are are good head Shawn Peyton’s a huge No, he’s a huge prick and but he wins. He’s a winner. He get he gets it done. His players and media will tell you that he just he’s a winner. And you know what? At the end of the day, that’s what matters. You can be the most likable people the Cardinals have had. I got Cliff Kingsbury is a likable guy, Bo, but at the end of the day couldn’t win enough games. Like Bruce Arens could be an but he was also lovable. Like I mean like not for for a regime right now, we can have all the sticktick and all the fun and all the hoopla in the offseason and in press conferences, but we we’re left with this kind of same pit in our stomach every time we have one of these postgame shows. Well, it was BA’s thing. BA went an BA was just the exact same to everybody, right? You were just treated as such. Everybody was exactly the same, right? People that found Matt as BA being an were probably just weak. I mean, you just have to understand like he’s going to talk to you just like he’s going to talk to somebody else. It didn’t matter if you was making $50 million or $50,000. You was getting the same Bruce Arens every time, right? But that’s what you need. You need somebody that’s going to tell you what needs to be done, right? There is no, “Hey, we got to be you.” Listen, BA was calling us out, right? in the media if the receivers were were doing better. We were called out, right? It didn’t matter who it was, right? It was just something like it’s holding people accountable. It wasn’t getting in, you know, into the interview and saying, “Well, we just got to be better next week.” Like, or we know, we feel comfortable what’s going on, right? Heads roll, right? That was just what made BA such a great football coaches. Everybody was treated the same. And I think that’s why he was respected so much as a football coach because it didn’t matter if you were if you was getting cussed out or whatever was going on, you knew that it was going to be there was going to be love on the back end of that, right? Football it was it was constructive criticism. Nothing was personal out of it. It was just constructive criticism. Go rapid fire. Super chats. Josh, a friend of the program, ASU won at least. Go Devils. Yep, they’ve got the they’ve got the right quarterback head coach combination. No doubt about it. Desert Vulture $2. Fans deserve a refund for this product on the field. It’s rough. Uh it’s a rough look. Moses Malando $5. I’m sorry to say this, but Buddha Baker deserves better. He needs to also play better. I think Buddha I think Buddha Baker could be in his last year as a Cardinal. I mean, no picks, no negative plays this year. I mean, it just they don’t have the takeaways this year. They’re they’re not they’re not a good defensive offensive team. They’re just they’re mediocre to blow average at every level. Brian Lopez, $5. Fire Monty. Fire Ganon. Keep Kyler next year and call 20 QB running plays every game and make him retire. I think I think if you’re going to fire Ganon to Monty, you got to trade Kyler Murray and just got this puppy. Still’s mom $1 support. Thank you so much. Vik 23. And you wonder why opposing fans dominate the stadium. No one wants to go see this product. Thank God for ASU. Teams in a have been a disappointment. ASU’s showing everybody win and they’ll take care of that. I don’t care if they had to go on a silent count with Jacobe vers win. Win win. Let people, you can’t be a loser forever and be like, “Why aren’t you in our stadium?” Like, no. Like, we’ve given you the benefit of the doubt. We We love this team coming into this year. You’re one of the worst teams in the NFL. Like, I I can’t defend that. Brian 499. I’m sick of this team. Fire JG. Trade Kyler. Sign Gruden. Draft Sam Lev or a QB he likes. Build the O line. Bo, is John Gruden the answer in your opinion? No. I I don’t even think you could touch him as an NFL team. Uh, Antonio back again. I get it. fire them, but stop hiring rookie head coaches. I Bo laughed at me. I’m going to pose this to you, Britain, and then I want to get Bo’s opinion on this. If this season implodes, and you have to fire Jonathan Ganon, Mike McCarthy with a rookie QB, Mike McCarthy, who has won everywhere he’s gone and he was taken advantage of, taken for granted, would you would you approach Mike McCarthy because the Cardinals supposedly Michael Bidwell had interest previously? I mean, why not? I wouldn’t hate that. I don’t I don’t I wouldn’t mad at it. No. But again, like I I agree with Antonio said there, right? I mean, if you’re if you’re sick of going this route, like stop going with stop trying to find the young rookie quarterback and or rookie head coach and praying that he’s going to turn into Deshawn McVey, right? Or or the all the other, you know, the the floors of the world that are actually having success. But like it go find somebody that’s established that’s done it, right? try to get something moving there. I I mean I don’t know. I don’t know what else to take. What about like a like Robert Salah, Brian Flores, Mike McCarthy, Bo? I know you’re not in the position where we’re saying fire Jonathan Ganlet. I get that. What do you think of those options right now? What do you think of any of those options I just named? Uh there’s an OC that has coaching experience for the Commanders that that maybe they should kick the tires on, right? I mean, if we’re going to go down that I don’t I’m not ready to have this conversation right now. I’m not either. And you know, you got Flores and he’s got his resume obviously with a a young quarterback. It’s not great. He’s going to have to show that he’s learned it from his mistakes there, but got the ability to coach him up. He’s he’s one with less. So, yeah, sure. Let’s I I’m not going to turn my nose up at anything right now. Mike McCarthy be He’d be a fun guy. Be calm. See, clearly $2. Can I get Kyler’s number? Is he single? I don’t know. I I think you could He might change his area code to a to a Minnesota area code here shortly though. Trevor 199. Don’t want it to be true, but may need to trade Buddha. Oh, I I’d be trading all the veterans on Jaylen Thompson, Buddha Baker. I’d see what I could get for Baron Browning on a cheap deal. I I would be trading all Kus if he’s up for it. Ain’t going nowhere. No, I’m sure he’s going to finish this year. But I mean, the the Kyler narrative though, it’s an interesting one. I don’t think it’s going away. You continue to lose games and and if the Viking season implodes or you you feel like you get to take advantage of a team Brandon 199 JV Bo BG, who do you think the the QB should start? Uh I would say I would play Jacobe Brouset moving forward because I have not seen enough from Drew Pettson to be able to tailor an offense around Kyler Murray. Britain, what do you think? I think you got to ride the ship until I mean, if it gets bad, say you show up in Dallas and Brassette just completely implodes, then I understand it. But outside of that, this is this is the most efficient your offense has been all season long. And you’ve been complaining for six weeks about having an inefficient offense, and this is the only one that’s working. So, I I I just don’t know how you go away from it. Not at this point. I think it’s the play. Yeah, I mean it gives you the best ability to get the ball to your playmakers that are healthy in Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr. and it becomes a little bit stickier if if you like the scenario that BG outlined where like it’s ineffective once you put him back in there. Uh then you have to go through that whole rigomear roll where you pull him and and then that’s that’s it probably at that point. Desert Vulture giving me some love. $5. Johnny, you were on point before the buy last year. Defensive end trade. We are fading fast so no one is coming. I I would there’s no way you’re going to add to this team. I think you’re going to get Garrett Williams and Walter Nolan post by and then Trey Benson will come back sometime in November. Get Austin for drafted all these youngsters. Got to play him. Got to see what you have. Michael Bright Side we covering as an underdog. Okay, I don’t hate that. Tyler P, why trade Kyler who isn’t made for this offense when you know you’re are likely to get rid of the OC at the end of the year? It’s a good I mean it’s a good question. I think it just becomes, you know, continued repetition with with what doesn’t work. Are you are can you sell this fan base another year of Ganon plus Kyler in 2026 when you’ve got three years that that this doesn’t work. I think that that would be the biggest push back for that. Arizona artichokes friend of the program 499. Would have been nice to hand an L to the bandwagon Packer fan base. Season is over. Time to tank. Yeah, that was the toughest part is watching Packer fans celebrate behind us big time. They have to go live in in um Green Bay though. No, they all live out here right now. It’s too cold. That’s why they’re all out here. Green Bay is gross. Yeah, Alex 499. Even though we’ve given up on the year, the coaching coaches haven’t. No one will get fired, unfortunately. Well, Bo, that’s what you texted me. You’re like, they haven’t quit yet. And that’s what happened with Cliff and Ken Wizen Hunt and really Steve Wils is those teams had quit at the end of the year. The product was unwatchable. Like I again I’m I’m of the mindset that Jonathan Ganon assuming the team isn’t going to quit and they can fi find a way to win a handful of games, he will remain the head coach of this team. Yeah, he’s going to have to win enough though and and it’s going to be tough to get there just because there’s no easy victories seemingly for this team so far. Uh keep it going here. Thomas Gruden $10 question mark. I don’t think Michael Bidwell and Jonathan Guden could coexist. Theo 199 second half playoff run. Crazy optimism. I would say that it would it would have to yeah the car the Cardinals are a bad team but no somebody came up to me when we were watching the game and I paced during the games and the guy was like how much money you have in the Cardinals. I’m like none. He’s like well you can’t be this invested. I’m like welcome to this this sick old podcast friend. Uh I’m so sick of losing though. My god Louie 199 I’m tired boss. Sick of JG and the and his BS coach talk. Well he’s got there’s nothing he can say at this point. There’s nothing he can say. There’s nothing he can do. I think his last card to play is is benching Kyler for Jacobe Brassette. Clearly, they’re not ready to play that card. Bwanaki, friend of the program. How did Ganon believe with all of his heart that they would be fine letting Clayton walk? You saw him day in and day out. Look at Dallas now. Again, Bo, fair question. No doubt about it. I mean, he was uh the strength of this team for two years when there was inconsistencies offensively. It’s tough to see him walk out that door and say, “Hey, we’re going to be able to just uh replace him.” It in hindsight it was a uh nearly fatal move. Could be Brian $10. Taco Bell creates better runs than this O line. Team is regressing in year three. Fire JG Rollis D sucks in the second half. Team is going to be bad for years to come. Kyler gone. We invite Max Hall back. I’m ready for a rookie QB next year. I I I’ve watched what Jackson Dart and company have done. Like give me give me a rookie quarterback next year with a new play caller. More fourth quarter heartbreak there. David 9999. I feel like the only solution is finding those small differences to spark this team. Whether it’s Kyler motivating guys on the sideline instead of moping or the defense being aggressive early. They they need a spark. We’ve asked for one every week. No one is stepping up. David, they’ve got 53 guys on this roster and a full coaching staff and nobody has the the secret sauce to be able to get this team over the hump. Buanaki comes back. Also, why does Ganon keep repeating the same conservative mistakes on both O and D? He does it every weekend at some point. Please learn. I I mean, Bo, did you feel like the Cardinals were aggressive enough today? I mean, defensively, I mean, getting after the quarterback, uh, pro probably not. I mean, it it’s it’s still not enough to get off the field and and offensively they go for it on fourth and one and it’s like you’re damned if you do, you’re damned if you don’t. You look like a a genius if you convert there and you’re able to run the clock, but it didn’t work out. So, um, no, I don’t I probably not. What do you What about you? I I don’t think defensively I don’t think we create enough pressure period defensively and we’re not We sit here and talk about this every week. We’re not getting any pressure and we’re only sending four, right? Why not try to send five, try to send six, right? It just, yeah, you’re going to put yourself in man coverage, but I would rather you be in man coverage than have guys sitting 15, 20 yards off and allowing 20 yard passes. Right? If I’m going to get beat, I got beat, right? I got beat in man coverage. I just He was just better than I was. But right now, you’re giving them free chunks that right before halftime, you basically said, “Here’s a 30-yard pass that you can complete and put yourself in field goal range for the guy that you have kicking the football.” $5 uh from Josh 2026. Petting is gone. Kyler is gone. New offensive coaching and the spotlight is on Rollis. That’s if JG and Roll are safe. I think that’s the most likely scenario. Wow, look at this. $100 from the G Wagon. Thank you so much, Gwagon. Unbelievable support on that level. We appreciate that. We appreciate everybody. G Wagon so generous. If you got a question, my man, throw it in the chat. Be happy to answer it. Jacob B 199. Don’t draft players from ASU, just Ohio State. I mean, ASU’s been cranking out some good ones, but I I get that. Miles Johnson, $2. This coaching staff call and coach to play it safe. Yep. It’s it’s it’s heartbreaking every week because you just feel like they’re tight and then the players are tight. Uh abnormal mindset. Why, mom? Why did you move us to A when I was four? I could have been a Ram or Chargers fan right now. Well, I love Arizona. I’ve been here for half a decade and I’m not going anywhere, but I I understand. And we’ve got plenty of fans who aren’t in Arizona that are tormented. I could I It’s It’s a cool cruel, dark reality to be a Cardinal fan and and you don’t get the benefits of living in Arizona. So, I get that. Um Oh, for sure. Fire Drew and Ganon. Hire Bo and Johnny. Bo, what do you think about that? It’s not a great call. Our X’s and O’s are worse. Yes. I’m I’m not equipped. Um maybe I give a pregame uh or a po halftime uh pep talk though. Tado, when’s the PHX barf bag toilet paper dropping? I’m I’m about ready to do uh a segment this week where you might need a barf bag with the way this team is trending. But you can get your barf bags out cuz we’re talking draft. But we got the best to do it. Fran Duffy poised to join us as we uh break down the Cardinals top nine draft pick right now. Julio Guzman, Mike McCarthy or Brian Flores? Yes, please. I I Brian Flores has won had a winning record Miami. Mike McCarthy has been to the playoffs. He’s won a Super Bowl. Like you you need somebody that’s got some if Ganon can’t get it done and he’s going to have to the end of the season. I I I would go with a veteran head coach. You you need somebody to stabilize this. You got no You’re getting exposed. You got no shot. You got no shot. You can beat, you know, Kell Moore, Joe Blow, you know, fraud coach in New Orleans. Let’s throw a flipping parade. Like, can you beat big time head coaches? The answer right now is you cannot. Brian $5. Noah Bandonni Blitz. Wishing coaches to be unalived is too far. I agree with that. That’s a little far. Yep. Get rid of him. Uh Julio Guzman, Kyler Murray for Trevor Lawrence. Straight up. I don’t know if you’re going to get that one. I I Jags like their team. Yeah. I mean, the Jags had a rough day today, but they’ve beat some good teams this season. How about this? Guzman. Guzman, excuse me. John’s from the Midwest. You don’t know. I might tell I’m gonna tell you right now. I got textman. I had a I had a buddy growing up and his name was Shane Guzman and that’s how he pronounced his name. So, I apologize. Guzman. Guzman. Um, how about this? Cardinals, corners, and safeties we thought was the strength of this team. Collectively right now have zero interceptions for the starting unit. Taylor Demerson has two. Zero interceptions from corners this year. That tells me that we’re playing soft, that we’re playing underneath, that we’re playing safe. Bo, what do you think of that stat? It’s gross. Let’s keep it going. Uh, guys, a great stat. It is. $5. Kyler has never lost in Jerry’s world. Let Kyler throw just like Jacobe throws. A win there on prime time. Can turn this around. I’m sure that’s what they’re hoping for. Josh, $2. BG is all time. Is all the fans right now. Yeah, he’s he’s over this B BS. He wa he BG watches this game and it’s just it’s a sight to be to be seen because he he cuts through the BS. AB uh abnormal mindset. I think next year they should trade Kyler Murray, start Jacobe and draft a rookie to learn behind Jacobe like Green Bay did with Love. Problem with that is you start Jacobe Bratet 2026 in a year where you have to win if you’re Jonathan Ganon. You’re lo you’re losing this fan base. That’s that’s the problem. You you had a this was your year to draft somebody behind. They should have drafted Jackson Dart play and and had him sit behind Kyler Murray. If we’re going to play the benefit of hindsight, if Drew is let go at the end of the season, are we really going to trust Ganon to hire a new OC? And if so, who would you want to see as OC? I think that’s a very fair question. Do we can we trust Ganon and company and really Austin Ford to to draft a quarterback to develop a quarterback? Uh I think Stfansky is the would be the front runner to become the new offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals. We want to welcome some new members here as we get those pulled up. Want to remind everybody, hit that like button, subscribe to PHNX Sports here on YouTube as we got one. G Wagon, who gave us 100 bucks earlier, became a member. G Wagon, you’re the real MVP of this postgame stream. We appreciate you. Jaylen Blair, $10. Conservative play calling was a main complaint of JG when he was in Philly. Starting to show here now. Main reason for blowing leads just like he did in the Super Bowl. you clearly don’t have the personnel on your defensive line even though it’s hand selected to win up front like the like the Packers did with Mike and company. So it was obvious like okay send some people they don’t like last year Bo Mack Wilson senior had like six sacks last year now that position is dormant. I mean that that is a a big knock against the staff right now in my opinion. Got to get pressure. You got to get turnovers. It’s it’s the the only way you can kind of get off the field right now. Well, that’s the other thing is if you’re not normally if you’re not generating pressure with four, right, defensive coaches are going to find ways to generate pressure. You’ve got it’s part of you’re in the NFL. You cannot survive without generating some type of pressure. Now, some teams are better at it, right? We watched literally watched the Eagles last year in the Super Bowl. We watched the Eagles just completely crush Kansas City’s offensive line with four guys. They didn’t blitz anybody, but they had four guys that could get to the quarterback. And we don’t have that here. You don’t have just four guys that can consistently be in the backfield and create havoc. You need to start sending two one or two extra guys. You’ve got to find ways to send more guys than they can block and generate pressure and force quarterbacks off of their spot. Because today, Jordan Love was never uncomfortable. No. If Jordan Love made a bad pass, that was on him. It wasn’t because he was rushed or he felt the pocket collapsing. He was comfortable all day long. Uh, we’re comfortable with everybody here hitting that like button. Let’s get us all the way up to a thousand likes. Do us a favor. Support what we’re doing here at PHX Sports as we barrel our way toward 50,000 subscribers here as we reset. We go around the room, BG. I’m going to start with you. What’s your confidence level that the Cardinals can turn this around after the buy? I I don’t I don’t I don’t have a lot of confidence, period. I mean, whatever we’ve seen, even when you do have a lead, you just don’t know how to keep it, right? It’s it’s the the conservative play, which we’ve talked about for a few years now. We’ve talked about this situation to where you get a lead and all of a sudden you just forget about how or forget how to put your foot on the gas pedal and and and drive a lead in, right? Just force people to quit. You don’t have that mindset as a coaching staff offensively or defensively. You do not try to make people quit when you get when your your foot’s on the gas. you just let up and you play this game of offensively, can we control the clock? Right? We’ve seen multiple times this year where you’ve controlled the clock. You’ve won the time of possession in a lot of the games you’ve played this year and lost the football game. Right? It’s just one of those instances where you’ve got to find something as a coaching staff over the next two weeks. You’ve got to find something in here that’s like, what can we do better to just completely force the issue, right? When we get these leads, these six point leads, these seven point leads, can we just get back out there and not say, “Hey, I’m going to hand off inside zone on first and 10, maybe I do a play action. Everybody in the world’s expecting you to run the football on first and 10.” Play action. Maybe you catch a defense in man coverage and you get a big play out of it, right? Defensively, stop playing 20 yards off when you’ve got a lead or at the end of the half. Like, I understand pushing your safeties back, but you can’t have safeties and corners all playing at 20 yards depth and then wonder why they’re getting a 61 yardd field goal at the end of the half, right? There’s got you’ve got to generate pressure defensively and you’ve got to bring these guys up. there. You just can’t give people that much space because good quarterbacks are going to pick you apart across the middle and underneath and they’re going to force you to come in here and play man coverage and then they’re going to beat you over the top because they know you’re not generating pressure to begin with anyway, right? So, I it there just needs to be a more aggressive approach both offensively and defensively going through the rest if you want to even have a chance to compete for the rest of the season. Bowl, let’s fast forward two weeks. What comes next for this team? Team has to get a win. I mean, they have to go on the road and and take on a Cowboys team that has as capable of putting up the most points as any offense in this league. The uh offensive onslaught continues, and your defense is going to have to on the fly weather this storm. Now, you’re going to get some reinforcements potentially with Garrett Williams and Walter Nolan, and they have to prove to be difference makers, but they’re not going to be the only ones, but I agree with you guys as far as maybe the minor tweaks that you’re doing. If you’re unwilling to make any changes to the staff personnel wise, roster-wise, you know, guys, a guy like Nicholls or switch swapping in a guy like Calvin Beichchum at the right tackle spot in place of Jonah Williams is a is a could send enough of a message to to put people on notice that like sure, you’re coming out here, you’re competing, you’re not getting blown out, but at the same time, the final score is is is a loss. So, the Arizona Cardinals need to know that. Make it send a message that they’re not accepting that and they’ve got to find the right combination to get over the hump. Hit that like button, subscribe to PHX Sports here on YouTube. Arizona Cardinals fall to two and five. Who could have seen this coming? Not this little fanboy podcast. Again, want to thank everybody in the chat. We got a couple more super chats to uh discuss here. Desert Vulture need a CFL or NCAA guru, not a retread offensive coordinator. I mean, I think Stfansky is the obvious choice just for me because it feels like if you had to have an interim head coach, maybe it’s a good try out next year. But I I I the problem is if you get somebody good like with Clayton Adams, somebody hires them away, then what? Then you’re screwed. I don’t know. This whole thing, everything’s fluid. Everything’s right now everything is up for debate. Head coach, quarterback, everything. Jaylen Blair $5. Most disappointing thing about JG, he came in preaching fire in the gut and wanting killers. Unfortunately, he doesn’t practice what he preaches 100%. And that’s where you start to use the f-word and you you talk about being fraudulent in that aspect. Like you you want to come out and be cutthroat and you want to take teams out and you want to create a home field advantage and it’s just like you play passive football. Nobody’s going to That’s why I mean collectively that’s why the fans have turned on him. Like I I’m not going to sit here just because we like him. He’s a friend of the show. He’s come on the show before. Like I love JG the person. I think he’s a good coach, but like the fan base almost universally has turned on John again and want him fired. So again, and I I’m not going to argue with that. Sean 199 BG is preaching not giving up chunk plays. Yeah. I mean like the car it doesn’t matter if you’re getting beat over underneath compared to over the top. Still the end result, right? And Cardinals are like we we brought up that graphic for by the numbers. They’re dominating statistically. It does not matter. Tamara Smith, a very generous $20 super sticker. Thank you so much. Uh we appreciate everybody in the chat. You guys have crushed it. Absolutely. Uh let’s see. Hippo character flips around and does a V sign with his hands up. Victory appears in the background. Well, we I think could be a Packer fan. Uh shading us, but we’ll take your money. Appreciate that. Dell 20 $2. It doesn’t even hurt anymore. I’m just numb. I think that’s the worst part is like the emo. You take the emotion out of it. Just expect it now as a fan. You just expect the loss. You expect a loss. the players are expecting to lose and that’s where you’re not going to lose me if you talk about wholesale changes. Everybody involved, you know, we’re going to cover it start to finish. We’re going to be back on yet another five straight loser Mondays here on PHX Sports. Everybody hit that like button. 1. Adam c don't hate the ne patriots we have a roster that's 10 times better than az cardinals our defense is top 5 what's yours trash our offense is rolling scoring 30 + points a game because our oc has 6 rings y'all oc don't have shit so shut your gay ass up

  2. Hmmmmm should of kept kliff Kingsbury šŸ˜‚ hahahahaha Arizona cardinals are never prepared at all they never winning championships because there owner cares more about lining his pockets instead of investing in the roster

  3. I’m just gonna put this out there for everyone to see apparently nobody is understanding. You’re two starting running backs are injured, starting quarterback injured, your second starting tight end injured, starting quarterback injured, second starting quarterback injured, first round of lineman injured, second first round defensive injured, third string running back injured, starting offensive guard, just returned from injury but was injured. most teams aren’t the Niners most teams need these players to win, especially on offense can we please take a second to understand that most of your starting offensive pieces are injured and nobody thinks that there’s going to be a drop off at all with winning? Come on.

  4. FIRE GANNON PETZING AND OSSENFORT KEEP KYLER MURRAY AND A VETERAN COACH DEFENSE AND OFFENSE AS CARDINALS KOSE ALL THE TIME BECAUSE THEY HIRE ROOKIE HEAD COACHES ALL THE TIME WITH CHEAP ROSTER WITH VETERANS PAST THERE PRIME AND YOUNG PLAYERS WHO ARE MOSTLY INJURY PRONE BUSTS

  5. Jonah Williams absolutely screwed us YET AGAIN! How did petzing not think to at least give that inept Williams another man to double team Micah. Should’ve been like that every time

  6. I saw this coming from Budda for a few years now. Great tackler but can not find an int to save his life. Now he is older he cant rely on his physicality as much. Miss the days of where you could count on a db getting an int every now and then

  7. They need a true offensive minded coach on the team! This team is a joke and it’s week after week after week, same stupid play calls! Can’t do the same damn things week after week and expect different results…. It’s literally INSANITY 🤬🤯

  8. Gannon šŸ’Æ looks defeated now… you can hear it in his voice and his mannerism he is clueless what to do which is why he says the same damn thing every post game interview now. I like him but he has to make a change now or he needs to go too!

  9. Scoring an extra 3 or 7 points with a heavy passing attack where we milk way less clock isn't a "more efficient offense"…. Brissett is not working "better" than Kyler…

  10. Almost wins is not good enough any more. Rise up fans and reject this coaching staffs poor decisions. Sorry Gannon I'm seeing that you could have tried any other play than what they are expecting probably would have won the game. Brissette is not Hurtz, this team has not perfected the tush push. Bad call, I am done with the game philosophy. Kyler will start next week and he may win but the play decision making will not change. This off season is going to be interesting.

  11. Cardinals better makes changes over this bye week! 3 years and no progress… actually losing more! šŸ˜‚ 31 points in the fourth quarter after 7 games. 😮 Broncos already outscored them in the fourth quarter… with 1 game!! the media still will pat the Cardinals on the back and play down the need for change!!

  12. Gannon has to go same as monti. Pour all your resources into the defense side of the ball and its not elite. And Gannon is a defensive minded coach and its failing. Clean house.

  13. Nah. This coaching staff has lost all support from any fan. You make Marv silent until 6 min left in the first half. You play scared. You try to play prevent when it has not worked all year. Fire everyone

  14. Bro I’m so upset with how they go about things. Like we suck and no one seems to care. I’ve been a fan for 30 years since I was 5. This is getting ridiculous.

  15. It’s funny because I already knew it, but I’m not expert. But had it confirmed by the boys at PFF, cardinals have the hardest test for the schedule in league. PERFECT

  16. Gannon has been in charge and there's a lot of issues going on with this team that he's not adjusting or addressing.. The O line for sure, Jonah has been bad, Petzing's bad play calling, Petzing not giving better protection schemes(why he is not helping with Micah on the edge), a lot of penalties, special team issues, the defense not being able to get a stop when we need to, no pass rush or blitzes, playing off coverage so much especially on 3rd or 4th and short, the list goes on…
