WINGS SCORE 6 UNANSWERED TO COMPLETE COMEBACK OVER BLUES | Edvinsson & DeBrincat score clutch goals

What a comeback by the Detroit Red Wings. Uh down 4 nothing halfway through the second period. Looking awful again for the third straight game. Todd Mlen calls a timeout and then everything changes. The Red Wings score six unanswered goals to win this hockey game. Goals from Jonathan Barren, JT Comfort, EMTT Finny scores again to keep pace with Matthew Schaefer in the rookie race. Uh Alex Dbrinket finally finds Twine. He had six shots in this game and hit two crossbars. Finally gets his first of the season to tie the game at four in the third. And then Simon Edmonson scores the gamewinner and an empty net goal to seal it. Um this is not a game I don’t think the Red Wings are going to be happy with going down 4 nothing after getting blown out 7 to2 the game before that. Uh there’s going to be a lot to work on, but that comeback is excellent. The response by the team was great and Scotty and I will talk about this whole game on Monday’s episode of Lockdown Red Wings.

  1. I almost turned off the game after the 4th against, but I've always been a watch until the end, ugly or not. I am so happy for Berggren and Edvinsson.. they both needed those goals and confidence. And of course Cat FINALLY didn't hit the post.

  2. It was a great comeback but I think the recent games show that the roster could use a couple guys with more toughness & fortitude in their games. There were good reasons that Rasmussen & Soderblom were scratched.
Something tells me this roster is going to evolve in personnel this year.
