  2. When Kyrou was left wide open on the backdoor, no one had a clue he was there thankfully Gibby came up huge…that’s simply not NHL level hockey so I’m glad Todd is cracking some skulls.

    They have to learn to play defense one of these days..I think… and maybe the nice guy stuff just wasn’t getting the message across

  5. I really like Todd as a coach. We’ve seen what the Wings can do when they buy into his program and how strong defensively we can be. When assignments aren’t managed it’s a fucking shit show, and it shows. I didn’t have any problems with Gibby last game, and neither did Todd. I appreciate he’s not a “blame the goalie” kind of coach. The team needs to have a presence in front of the net and can not let him hang out to dry as much as we have. Ducks all over again for Gibby if we keep breaking down. Team has got to learn.

    It’d also be nice if we stand up for ourselves once in a fucking while. A brawl in front of Gibby when he was shoved down last game was expected. And… No one did anything? Props to Lark for showing a lot of emotion last game. I think that really helped kick the guys into it and kept them motivated. Anyway, thanks for reading my arm chair analysis.

  6. Before Todd these bad habits kept getting worse and we’d be on 5 game losing streaks over and over.

  8. they shouldn’t have needed that kick in the ass last night. good they won, but all i saw was a team lucky to come back in a 0-4 game they’d all but given away. 

    still very concerned these guys end up as 20th-in-the-league frauds this year.
