My number three have to be Chicago Cops. They haven’t won in so long and I think they they very well deserve it. Plus a couple of my boy were playing there on that team. My second one will be uh the Red Sox 2013. what went through the city at the time. Uh all the struggle, you know, the the the marathon bombing. Uh it was very important for the city uh this championship. And of course, my number one had to be the 2004 Red Sox world champion. The city wait for so long, 86 year to win a championship. 2009 Yankees for sure. That team was special.
2005 White Sox? 11-1 in the Postseason. Swept Ortiz’s Red Sox in the ALDS, threw 4 CONSECUTIVE complete games in the ALCS against the Angels (A feat we will never see in MLB again) and then went onto sweep the Astros in the WS. Went 99-63 in the regular season going wire to wire.
