BENCHED: New Orleans #Saints Sit Spencer Rattler, Turn Offense Over To Tyler Shough | LA QB Change?

The New Orleans Saints might be looking at a new starter at quarterback next week in Los Angeles. It could be the Hollywood debut of rookie Tyler Shuck as a starting quarterback here in the Caesar Superdome in the third quarter. The Saints bench Spencer Rattler turned things over to Tyler Shuck. Head coach Keller Moore saying that he made the decision trying to give the offense a little bit of a jolt after it had had a few turnovers in the first half and then of course also never really got going. Didn’t ever really build a rhythm is what Spencer Ratler said after the game. Kell Moore also said that they’re not going to take much time here getting this all figured out. They’ll figure it out over the course of the next 48 hours, who their starter will be and what the offense needs and then dedicate Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to getting that starter ready. Last year, we saw the Saints try to split reps in between two potential starters. Kell Moore and the New Orleans Saints not going that route. So, we’ll see where the Saints land, but it feels like the Saints have already given us their answer. If they were looking to get a jolt for their offense, an offense that has been mostly stagnant here throughout the 2025 season, and they did so by turning things over to Tyler Shuck, it seems unlikely that they won’t do exactly that again next

  1. Rattler was put in a bad position from the point they drafted Tyler Shough. Thanks for your efforts Rattler. I still think that you can be a franchise QB. The offense needs some help too. We got beat up at the skills position.

  2. Killer tie, Ross! This is the right move. Rattler has exceeded expectations, but he is not a franchise QB. Will be a great backup. A franchise QB first shot looks like what Dart is putting together in NY with less weapons. He elevated the play around him. Rattler hasn’t done that. I’m not convinced Shough is either, but they have to see what they have at QB and analyze the the priority of the QB position with our high draft pick. It’s the only move

  3. I never wanna see rattler again let's see if 6 can play if not they'll be in position ta draft another one but it's time ta see we know what rattler is uh backup, too inconsistent Qbs like that get ya fired if ya don't move on from em 💯

  4. Aging players that are nothing but dead weight, free agent retreads, average drafts, a stubborn ownership that don’t want to fire Loomis and hire a coach imo took a job he really didn’t want and may have overpaid him in the process, it’s no wonder this franchise is a clusterbang of a mess.

  5. I like Rattler, but he doesn’t come across as a leader of men. No fire, no jolt of energy with him. Flat affect and monotone voice. Nothing inspiring about him. Nothing like Brees, Winston, hell, even Carr had more personality and fire to him. If you’re QB1 you’ve got to be the face of the franchise and inspire everyone around you to believe and be better! Spencer Rattler does not do that.

  6. This team is simply ass if I had a word for it. Does anybody have any complaints about Shough’s ball placement because Juwan is still dropping passes and fumbling is our freind.

  7. I bet money Tyler start next week and Kellen play calling is gonna be 10x better this organization is a joke idgaf rattler isn’t perfect but the o-line ass , wr’s / TE’s ass and biggest thing that’s ass is the play calling
