Are you feeling that trust with coach and how does that increase your confidence when you’re out there? I mean, yeah, I think uh any player wants to be on the floor um and affect the game and affect the game positively. Um so, you know, that coach has that trust in me. That’s pretty cool. It’s a nice game. You guys first half seemed like you guys defensively weren’t doing what you wanted to do in terms of getting up in them and everything. What changed you think second half you guys played better on that side of the ball? Yeah, I mean we had a good discussion in here with the players um about not playing our brand of basketball in that first half. Um you know I think uh it definitely helped that we started hitting some shots in the second half. Um but it really changed on the defensive side of the ball. We’re picking up our physicality, you know, picking up higher on the floor, holding them to one shot and you know I think that was the difference. What does that say when you guys can police yourself? You mentioned that you guys as players came in and had a little discussion. Coach said he didn’t say anything to you guys at all. You guys do different stuff. What about that piece of yourself and that you can actually come out here and be a team and do what you want to do like that? Yeah, I mean that’s it’s great that that we have guys like that. I mean it was uh you know that can get on each other um and you know nobody’s taking that personally like uh we just want to win and um we knew that wasn’t our standard uh in our in the first half um and came out in the second half and corrected it. Uh man, what are you seeing from him? you know, your guy, he’s come in the last couple of games, he had 13 points tonight off the bench. What does it do for him confidence wise? What’s it like seeing him come out here contribute three down? It’s awesome. Uh, you know, he just makes winning plays. Um, first half he got on the floor for for a loose ball. Um, set the tone, you know, just picks up full court. Um, then he’s really been trusting his shot, you know, letting it go and, you know, that’s shooting it with confidence and it’s going to go in when he does that. And then Melo triple double, man. for his first time playing with him in triple double. What’s your thoughts on seeing him out there triple double wise? Yeah, he’s amazing. Um, you know, he he did a really good job of, you know, me and him had some of that two twoman action, but he just did a hell of a job playing in pick and roll with with the big guys. Um, they weren’t picking him up on and he was hitting those floaters. Um, but then just his rebounding, like when he can get the rebound, it starts to break quicker uh because he has the ball and we can just go. Um, so yeah, he was he was phenomenal today.
