I’m not out on Caleb yet but his regression has me scratching my head. Wtf has happened.
At least only one team wins the Super Bowl each year. The fact that we just know it won’t be us earlier than everyone else is somewhat comforting.
It really cracks me up how ‘fans’ expect this team to be winning from the opening snap. If they go down by 3 it’s the end of the world. This is the same group of guys who went 5-12 with a 10 game losing streak. It’s going to take time for this team to be good, if they ever are.
Year 3 will be huge. A decision will have to be made. If there isn’t a big jump in play next year then..
I say lean into it. Cut Williams, cut Bagent, start an 8-year old in wheelchair. At least that will be amusing.
Then after the season, burn Soldier Field to the ground. Raze the land for as far as the eye can see in all directions. Salt the earth so nothing may ever grow again. Have the new Pope bring in an army of priests and perform a month long exorcism on whatever is left.
Then and only then, will the eternal curse of Bears QBs be broken.
I might get down voted from saying this but the bears were essentially 2 miracles from being 2-5 right now. I said before and I’ll say again, I would be happy as long as we finished 7-10.
I PROMISE you Mahomes would not be who he is if the Bears drafted him
Don’t get me wrong I am the guy in the photo too, but every fanbase has this exact photo with their jersey in it. Every post game thread of a loss has it. At what point is loyalty just tool used to get accept poor product. I’m venting after a terrible loss this isn’t directed at you sorry for the ramble. bear down.
Yep. Its a curse for the fans at this point
just imagine how Zaccheaus feels. Almost had his head decapitated… for a two yard gain, was it?
In all fairness, it’s going to take at least a year to learn this offense. The Lions were mega ass their first year under Campbell. And you can already tell that BJ had to dumb a lot of shit down because the Bears weren’t even getting the basics right. Remember, he pulled the first string offense in one of the first practices because they weren’t even getting the basics right. If we can get to 9 wins but more importantly, see that Caleb has improved by year end with the results to back it up, then I’ll be satisfied. If it’s still the same shit where we need five turnovers and four FGs to win by one point, it’ll be time for a change.
Idk why it just felt so obvious it was a trap game
…yeah
It so exhausting there already 2 Caleb not the guy post I so done engaging man.
WHEN they draft the wrong QB.
Chill the fuck out. Maye has so far been the best QB in the 24 draft class, but Caleb is still the best QB we’ve had since Cutler. So let’s go ahead and whine about drafting a franchise QB ahead of an MVP-candidate QB. And do you really think Maye would have faired any better last year in our dumpster fire of an organization?
ffs sakes this fanbase makes every lost feel fucking season ending and it’s draining. Seeing how fans react to the bears losing is worst than actually watching the Bears lose. It’s insufferable.
We were without our starting defensive backs, a QB that still is learning how to play Ben Johnson’s offense, and multiple injuries across the team. Lets see how things go the rest of the way
At least I got to see one SB in my lifetime. 😭
Facts. We ride in the good time and bad times.
I’ve always said losing feels a lot less worse when the team doesn’t look so bad like we do.
It’s one thing to lose it’s another to lose and look like ass.
Just show signs of being a good team is all I ask for.
Guys it’s his 2nd year with his 2nd coach already. How many QB need to be bad in their first few years for people to realize they might need some time to develop. It happens literally every year in the NFL and every year fan bases are shocked when they’re bad.
I also had this game as a loss anyway so I don’t care. See y’all next week.
Local football fan discovers the concept of someone being a fan of a football team
While I can see what this meme gets at, it gets pretty hard justifying spending 3 hours of a Sunday only to end up being angry, especially for a team who’s season is over by thanksgiving every year…

I’ll come back Wednesday when everyone has a logical take.
My teams since I was a kid were Chicago and the Raiders. Some say it’s bandwagoning but I’ve been supporting both since I’ve watched football going on 35 brutal years. Like a jackass, I’ll continue supporting them like the ChiSox and Cubs (I’m downstate and both Marquee and CHSN aren’t making it easy), Bulls, Blackhawks, Illini, Fire, Sky, Red Stars (there’s too many single star teams out there from North Stars, Dallas Stars, Silver Stars, Starzz, Prairie Stars that I’ll call them their old name) Salukis and Wildcats.
One loss after a 4 game win streak and ya’ll are back to saying Caleb is a bust. This sub is silly.
It’s all about improvement weekly for Caleb. Which has not been the case. He’s missing too many wide open receivers on excellent schemed plays. This was right before his pick into double coverage. Insane to miss the check down. Instead he stares down Rome. You’re the #1 pick gotta be better. 🐻⬇️
