Easy part of the schedule blah blah blah those teams have had injuries other issues blah blah blah.

I frankly don’t give a rip. We are roughly through the halfway point in the season and the Carolina Panthers are .500 with more wins than any of these teams shown here. If someone told you that would be the case back in August you would have been salivating. Yes this past week was not fun but we look like there’s a very real chance we have a competent staff and a young solid core who’s continuing to develop and find their identity. We will get off the mat, dust ourselves off, prepare for Green Bay and, most importantly, KEEP POUNDING

  1. If you wanted me to bet real cash money on if the Panthers finish with a better record than all of these teams at the end of the year I’d be betting the exact opposite.

  2. We are now very injured which a lot of these teams have been. Canales is going to have make some decisions soon.

  3. I’m happy with .500 right now for sure, I just wish we didn’t get blown out so often under canales. A nail biter loss every now and then would be nice. All 4 losses this year were largely uncompetitive, barring the kinda flukey AZ game with the onside recovery but we even trailed by 24 in that one.

  4. I’m just having trouble nailing down why folks are so up in arms about that loss.

Back up QB against a SB favorite with a MVP level QB who can kill you in different ways.

The Panthers will be (and are) roughly a .500 team. What’s playing out is exactly what we should all be expecting.

  5. Just a reminder that the Falcons traded away their first round pick for next year and will probably be netting the Rams a top 10 pick.

  6. Be glad it was the bills game that Andy played and not the packers. Parsons would’ve set the new single game sack record if Dalton was at QB

  7. Other teams records is out of our control. As for being .500, that’s more less where we were expecting to be around this time. The Jags, Cardinals, Fins, Jets, patriots and Falcons were all considered very winnable games. The Pats ended up being much better than expected. Beating the cowboys was def nice though. The saints x2 and maybe Falcons are the only game’s we’ll be favored in going forward. We’ll probably finish with 6-8 wins, vegas over/under was 6.5. Teams like the Ravens, Bengals, Commanders and Vikings regressing is irrelevant to us.

  8. People in this sub can’t wrap their heads around an embarrassing defeat and accept that shit like this happens to everyone in the NFL. Our (backup!) QB collapsed early and we couldn’t recover. You can’t run your way out of the situation we were in. The Falcons had basically the same thing happen to them against us. It sucks when you’re the team getting clapped but fans having a raging conniption fit in the chat while ignoring the fact that we’re over-performing expectations in the middle of a rebuild is kind of embarrassing. Like handle your shit boys, there is a bigger picture and we’re not suddenly doomed.

Tl;dr it would be soo cool to discuss this team without the wall-punching “fire everyone” crybaby stuff because frankly this is the best we’ve been in a long time and we should keep that in mind while we KPB
