NHL Saturday 3 pack Puck it Cup of Jo: Utah vs Minnesota Columbus vs Pittsburgh Ottawa vs Washington

What’s up, guys? Joe Madden here coming at you with a Saturday three-pack out there on the ice. It is a pocket cup of Joe. We’re going to look at Utah versus Minnesota. Columbus versus Pittsburgh and Ottawa versus Washington. Let’s jump straight into it. Utah versus the Minnesota Wild. The Minnesota Wild have been inconsistent out there on the ice. They’re not generating a lot of high danger shots. Unless your name’s Capri off or Matt Baldy, you’re just not making that big impact offensively. Gust in between the pipes hasn’t been that solid. Two and four on the season with a 3.03 goals against average. Now Utah is rolling into town. This is a team that gives relentless pressure, has strong puck control, and is on a winning streak right now. I’m not stepping in front of the Utah Mammoth. Give me Utah at plus 100 on the money line to continue this winning streak. Look for Logan Culie to get you a point. The Columbus Blue Jackets versus the Pittsburgh Penguins. Another winning team here in the Pittsburgh Penguins, winning their last four games, coming off that nice win versus the Florida Panthers. This team during this winning streak of four is averaging 4.3 goals per game and only allowing 1.5. Now, Silos between the pipes today for them and Elvis in here for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Looking at Columbus, they are off a loss last night to the Washington Capitals and game they were only able to put up one goal. I’m expecting both of these teams to come out solid in that first period. We already got the Bruins and the AS first period over one and a half and both teams to score today. And that’s what I’m going right back to in this game here. Look for both teams to score in the first period. The over one and a half in the first period as these teams start off nice and fast in this game. Columbus only after scoring one goal last night is going to be hungry to get that first goal, but the Pittsburgh Penguins have every ability to do so as well. So, back and forth first period here and then I think the game slows down. So, something to watch for out there. And then the Ottawa Senators versus the Washington Capitals. Washington Capitals off that 5 to1 win last night over the Columbus Blue Jackets look to bring that momentum into this game. Now, Charlie Lingering getting the start here for them. And we know Ottawa’s had those struggles on the defensive side of things. The Ottawa Senators giving the start to Omark. Your total is 5 and a half in this one. The Capitals minus 130 favorite. You’ve got the Ottawa Senators rolling into town at plus 108. I do think this is a game. You look at the Ottawa Senators and I do think they struggle to score on Charlie Lingren. On the second night of a backto-back, I expect the Washington Capitals to clamp down on the defensive side of things. Really control the everything in the neutral zone, not allow those rushes out there by the Ottawa Senators. So, give me the Senators team total under 2 1/2 at plus 108. It’s like a 2-1 or a 32 style win here for the Washington Capitals. You guys, all the best in all of your bets.
