  1. Steal: he’s positionally sound and skates very well. Was on a deep team in his draft year and slipped thru the cracks. Meteoric rise.

  5. Both. He’s an amazing player drafted ridiculously low, but he’ll probably slow down a bit.

    Even then, he’ll still be a draft steal.

  8. My completely unbiased take is that he is a sure fire hall of famer. Henrik Zetterberg was drafted in the 7th round, and he didnt make the NHL until he was 22 years old. Finnie made it 2 years faster. So Emmit Finnie is clearly better than Henrik Zettterberg.

  12. In a re-draft, he might go top 20, but he definitely doesn’t get out of the first round. Another question we’d need to ask if we are re-drafting, is would he go higher than Danielson?

  13. He’s playing LW, but he was a C all the way up to this year. He’s used to playing a responsible game, and you can tell by some of the quick little passes he makes that he processes things quickly. He does so many things the right way that I think he’ll just get better.

  14. It’s an awesome feeling when your team hits on a late-round gem and they are already making an impact at 19-20 (Jesper Bratt). Enjoy it again Wings fans.
