May too trying to focus on improving on that end. And Aon with an easy one inside off the drop step. Not to mention that last stop he got on defense to seal the victory. Smart working against Lavine. Russell Westbrook will bring it across and his best performance so far as a King. Sabonis tips in the miss. Coming late to the game. Yeah, foul trouble has been an issue for multiple people including Keon Ellis, but the two of them teaming up right there to get the stop. Lavine and D Rozan lead the way with 21 apiece on the crossover. Lavine elevates and scores it. So, so pretty. Westbrook waits for Sabonis on the low ball screen action and he gets the switch. Eighton couldn’t stop that. That’s his fourth three ball of the night. 10 on the shot clock. Directing traffic off the Sabonis screen pulls up and Westbrook with an offensive rebound. Rozen sprays it out to Ellis and another chance. Ellis reloads and couldn’t find it. Couple of good opportunities for the Kings who lead by three. Smart around the Eaton screen. Tough shot. Got it. I’m telling you what though, you can feel the pulse of this building. This fan base is is waiting to arrow. Sabonis got the three because the Kings have struggled with that smaller lineup. They have fared much better with DeAndre Aton on the floor. Sabonis was in drop coverage. And Reeves drops the jumper. Sabonis up to the level on that ball screen. They slowed it down. Reeves not slowing down anytime soon. He’s got a 42piece cooking. Down the screen and Demar gets spun around. Gives him enough time to raise up and elevate. Well, I think the tough part is right that it’s the fine line of where Doug is trying to teach them to be aggressive and and go with that whole theory that Reeves on the wide pin working against Shruder. Tough pull. Oh my god. Right in his retina. What a tough shot by Austin Reeves. They’ve had great success with a high pick and roll. But over the last several possessions here in the fourth, he is turning down that screen and just going oneonone. Zack Lavine answers back on the other end. Mark hit of the corner. And something to keep in mind with blitzing on Reeves, I mean, Domos is has had foul issues tonight. Sitting with four. Shot clock at five. Pocket pass to Ashimura for the punch. Look at it. Ashimura with the shorter Ellis on him. Knocked it away. Larabia straightaway three. Got it. Seen him do that a time or two in a King’s uniform. A got to stay attached here, especially this late as we approach four minutes to go. Shruder with a big three to keep them close. Stagnant play here as of late and run some stack pick and roll out to Lavine. Got into the paint. Contact counted. Zack as well. I mean, coming off a a great night the other night. Point of attack defenders for Sacramento. And Dennis is going to float and I think randomly go and trap as well. But there’s a back door and Keon Ellis another foul mark and he got him on that tip. Look like he slipped out of a screen. Crruder got to the lane. Sabonis with the tip and in Sabonis now with his fourth field goal on that ball screen action. Sabonis hands it off to Shruder. Guarded by Reeves. Shruder up and in on the lane. Almost got a five. Reeves five on the shot clock. Throws up a wild shot. It’s been that type of night. A miraculously magical one. Trying to connect with the three. Now back on defense. And Shruder with the block. Oh, he sent it back. And Sabonis with the steel. Sacramento off of life support. 95 seconds to play. Lavine step back three. Sacramento still alive. Westbrook to trigger for Sacramento. [Applause] Shruder. And that’ll do it. A disheartening defeat. It’s all ESPN on Disney Plus. Turn it on.
