   Compensatory pick is the easiest solution. Gives us something, NBA admits it messed up, and the Hornets have no reason to push back.

11. Adam Silver and Co. seem to forget that Pat Riley is not one of these new schmucks who are usually bounce around from front office to front office every few years. This man has been doing this shit seemingly forever by this point and knows exactly how to get shit handled the way he wants to handle it. He is also an old school as hell and isn’t afraid of making you give him an honest, non-corporate answer of why you cannot make shit happen the way he feels it needs to happen. Elisburg ain’t no slouch in that regard either.

    They are just being patient and giving Silver the option to make things right himself, but I feel like we’re gonna see them both going scorched earth with the front off when it comes down to it and forcing the league to fully acknowledge that they truly fucked up and compensate for this mistake in a fair manner
