We knew going into this that the first half of the year is going thru that “ugly phase” and I see a ton of little good habits forming, from pace to even defense being smoother. We have a lot of good things and the players will have nothing but time to get their groove.

  2. I mean, it stinks to lose a winnable game but shots weren’t falling and were more often going to sink a lot of those open looks. It happens, let’s get a dub next

  3. Just your average knee-jerk reaction from the nephews. Anyone panicking three games into the season, especially after we won two of those games, is an idiot and shouldn’t be taken seriously

  4. Last season had some really rough patches after January

    Hopefully this season is not like last season where the ugly elements kept surfacing the whole year until we peaked during game 4 and Game 6 against Boston in the playoffs.

  6. We lost because shots didn’t fall. We had open looks all 4th qtr and unfortunately it was one of those nights. Forget and move on

  7. Shots weren’t falling, heat aren’t ass, lost by a little. Hard to be mad, can’t win every game. Team even fought at the end before a few clutch daggers put it out of reach. We good

  9. I just hate losing to the Heat in general but one loss doesn’t hurt in the grand scheme of things.

  10. Learning experience for Mike Brown and the squad. The boys were cold shooting the 3. Miamis always a tough matchup and they have a respectable roster this year. They got Norman Powell for practically nothing and he absolutely torched us, thanks Clippers. The clowns that were saying things like “Thibs would’ve won that game” need to stfu. Like its game 3 calm your tits

  11. It’s been said a million times but we also didn’t have deuce. And even with deuce with the way we shot we weren’t guaranteed a win whatsoever. These things happen plenty over a season and aren’t indicative of what we are capable of

  12. Exactly. It’s fucking game 3 of the regular season and we just beat the Celtics & Cavs which couldn’t be said last year. I love that Mike Brown is testing out rotations to see what works and what doesn’t. If this means we lose game now but have a plan for the postseason then I’m totally fine with it. Give them time to gel with each other, it’s a lot of new faces. This is what the regular season is for. It took Thibs until game 3 of the Pacers playoff series to try out new rotations. And despite the atrocious shooting we really didn’t lose by much. LGK.

  18. I’ll take a few more Ls this season if it means the whole team and staff are more prepared for the playoffs.

    We scraped for too many games last year with the starters seeing extended mins at the cost of developing the bench or a plan B.
