Could Bryce Harper be traded this offseason?
Remember when the Cubs could have signed Bryce Harper? Maximum pain. Thanks, Tom. Well, apparently there’s trouble in Paradise in Philadelphia. I have given my all to Philly from the start. Now there is trade talk. I made every effort to avoid this. It’s all I heard in DC. I hated it. It makes me feel uncomfortable. It’s disappointing to hear me being questioned about my contribution to the team. Just really hurt by that notion because I love Philly so much. Based off those quotes, he’s not happy. Bryce Harper’s been there for seven years and they haven’t won the World Series. They got to the World Series. They had some deep playoff runs. Went to the NLCS a couple times, right? But they haven’t been able to get over the hump. Bryce Harper is like the heart, the pulse of that team. If anything, this is going to light a fire under Bryce Harper, who, you know, had a very meh year this year. I don’t think they’re going to trade him, but it’s a long off season. You want to talk about writing a wrong? Everyone keeps telling me they should sign Schwarber to write a wrong. They should trade for Harper to really write a wrong.
