I guess maybe they’re going to come home after the game tonight before heading to CA? Or maybe just have someone fly out separately to meet the team. Having GR playing tonight in Iowa makes the travel situation interesting. Excited to see who gets the call up I’d like to see a rookie but a veteran would make things easier for the Griffins.

They do need to call up someone for sure. Nate or Carter. I personally prefer Nate since I want to see the third line have some more talent and yet Mazur since he will forecheck. The problem with this team is not enough players forecheck. I hope MBN not only settles in at GR, which he will, but gets back up here by January.
My money is on Mazur. It just makes too much sense. He’s playing well and he’s 23 gonna be 24 by the end of the season, the forward pipeline is crazy deep and they are openly saying they want to see Danielson in the NHL this year at some point. Let’s see if we can bring him in and help inject some energy.
I would also be down with Watson or Shine if they decide to go down that route but like I said we got Danielson needing looks later in the year not to mention MBN potentially coming back at any time, this to me would be the perfect time to get a look at Mazur. Also, it might be less pressure for him on the road away from all the hometown kid narrative stuff.
