Bryce Harper And Joel Embiid Do Not Get Equal Treatment #phillies #sixers
People ripped Joel for that a year ago. So why is it so different now when Bryce Harper says it feel like there may be people out there saying, “Well, Bryce Harper’s had more success than Joel Embiid, right? Joel Embiid doesn’t show up in the big moments and Bryce Harper does.” Now, some of that could be true. Back in 2022, Bryce Harper was the NLCS MVP. How many World Series championships did Bryce Harper have here? Zero. How many NBA titles does Joel Embiid have? Zero. In the last eight games in the postseason, Bryce Harper has not given you much. In the last two series that they lost, you could even go back to the Diamondbacks where they lo they had that collapse. Bryce Harper no showed two big time. Joel Embiid in my opinion although there have been times where he has not shown up in his career in the seven playoff appearances that Joel Embiid has been in, he is a plus 322 on the court. There are only two postseasons where Joel Embiid finished with a negative. In the series against the Knicks, Joel Embiid on one damn leg was a plus 46. He didn’t lose that series for the Sixers. Constantly hear the excuses made for Bryce. Oh well, there’s there’s nine guys. It’s not just Bryce. He can’t win a championship by himself. But then with Joel, it’s he’s never got out of the second round. He doesn’t show up in big moments. He has battled back from injury. And I just don’t think that it’s fair to say, “Oh, we’re going to come to Bryce Harper’s defense because he has done so much for this city, but we’re not going to come to Joel Embiid’s defense because we’re over

MAJOR POINT!! I’ve always been an Embiid defender this man literally gave us his entire career! pushed back his knee surgery that he should’ve been had twice to help us because our bum asses could NOT win without him and then blame him for everything after giving him no help and burning him out…we do this to our superstars time and time again we already know they burnt out Iverson, it was smart for Iggy to leave. I pray for Maxey, but it looks like we’re not going to trade away his help this time hopefully we finally learn from history
