2. I was putting groceries in the fridge as I watched the game on my phone in the kitchen – I had just tuned in about 30 seconds before the penalty was called and we went on the PP. I sarcastically/jokingly said out-loud to myself, “oh YAYYYYY. we’re on the powerplay, we’re gonna scoreeeeeee!!!” They were just talking about Svechy playing well so far this game and how he needs to come online this season, so I also add in a “hey maybe we won’t just score on this PP but Svechnikov is going to be the one!” I chuckled as I went back to putting in groceries, ironically missing the faceoff, only to hear the goal horn and cheering.

   Unreal – and yet somehow this makes perfect sense for this team lol.
