NEW Philadelphia Eagles Trade Rumors From Adam Schefter & ESPN
Back at it again here on Philadelphia Eagles now. Chase Senior here with you. And with the Eagles being on a by-week going into week nine. Packers on the other side of that byee. NFL trade deadline is coming up right smack dab in the middle of that. November 4th after week nine going into week 10. So, a big question for Eagles fans and for the Philadelphia Eagles as an organization. Will Howie Roseman make a big trade in order to improve this roster? We’re going to dive into that. Take a look at some new trade buzz, some new reports, and some trade targets for the birds on today’s show. Let’s begin here, though. I want to gauge where the fan base is at, where the audience is at, where our subscribers are. Do the Eagles need to make a trade a simple yes or no? Let me know down in the comments section right now. And I think this is a good place to start, right? You look at the NFC standings just to see where the Eagles are. Six and two going into the buy. Back-to-back really impressive wins against the Minnesota Vikings, against the New York Giants. They are currently the number two seed in the NFC behind the Green Bay Packers despite having one more win than the Packers. That tie between Green Bay and the Cowboys a couple of prime times ago has served the Packers pretty well here at 51 and one. And so if the season were to end today, of course they would get the number one seed in home field advantage with that first round buy. Behind the Eagles, Buccaneers at 6-2. Seahawks, Lions, Rams, all at 5-2. The 49ers would be the final wildcard team at 5-3. Then on their heels, the Bears at 4-3. surprised Panthers at 4 and4 and the Cowboys at 3 4 and one in the NFC East. Barring a disaster, it looks like the Eagles could be the first team to repeat as division winners inside the NFC East since 2004. They have six wins. They are three games ahead of the Cowboys and the Commanders in the win column. 34 and one are the Cowboys as noted. The Commanders, they have lost three games in a row, I believe, right after that loss on Monday night against Kansas City. They’re three-5 and the New York Giants 2-6. The Eagles pretty much ended their season with that dominant victory at the link on Sunday. The playoff picture as far as how these matchups would play out again, the Packers would get that first round buy. Then we would see in the wildcard round two-seated Eagles hosting the seven-seated Niners, the three-seated Bucks taking on the six-seated Rams, and then the four five matchup, Seahawks at home against the Detroit Lions. On the side of the AFC, the Colts would get the number one seed. 2-7 matchup, Patriots Chiefs in Foxboro. The 36 Broncos Chargers. than the four five would be the Steelers against the Buffalo Bills. It’s going to be fascinating to see how things play out for the remainder of the season. And if you’re in the shoes of Howie Roseman right now, you like where your team is at going into the by-week. They’re feeling pretty comfortable, right? The offense the last two games has really started to find a groove and the defense is coming off a game in which they had their best pass rushing game of the season. 22 pressures and five sacks of Jackson Dart. But the question I think Howie Roseman should be asking himself, and he’s a smart guy, he’s probably thinking about this as well. What does he need to do? And what do the Eagles need to do to be better than the other NFC heavyweights like the Green Bay Packers? I would put the Detroit Lions there because they’re playing unbelievable football right now. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Eagles beat them head-to-head. You look at a team like the Rams, they just traded for quarterback Roger McCreary. And so, what do the Eagles need to do to put themselves in a position where they can get the number one seed, where they can get homefield advantage? Because if the road to the Super Bowl, Super Bowl 60, Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, just outside of San Francisco, runs through the link, it’s one of the more difficult places to play across the entire NFL, especially when it’s January. So, positions of need for the Eagles here. Edge rusher, cornerback, and offensive line. And let me just give a shout out to Brett Toth for how he played at center in place of Cam Jurgens. He shut down Dexter Lawrence against the Giants. And maybe with how he played, that changes what the Eagles think about their situation along the interior offensive line. As for what Adam Sheper had to say about the Eagles making a move, he said this on Get Up, the Eagles are always active. They’re always aggressive, and they’re going to be that way again. I’ll be surprised if in the next two weeks, the Eagles haven’t pulled off at least one trade. Now, the Eagles are kind of getting some roster additions. Obviously, not trade pieces, but definitely reinforcements to their roster after the biowe. Nolan Smith is their best edge rusher. He’s coming back to play the Packers. Brandon Graham out of retirement. He’ll make a season debut against Green Bay as well. And so too will Jacorean Bennett who has an opportunity to start at outside corner opposite of Quinn Yan Mitchell. As far as picks and draft ammunition that the Eagles have at their disposal that they can give up in order to bring a player in, they’re locked and loaded, man. They have their own first round pick. They have their own second, their own third. Then they have a third round pick from the Jets, a projected compensatory pick for Milton Williams signing with the Patriots in the third round as well. Their own fourth, a fourth round comp pick for Josh Schw. A fifth from the NerS, which can become a fourth if Bryce Huff continues to sack the quarterback. A fifth round comp pick for Mai Beckton. And a sixthround pick. So even if the Eagles give up one third rounder for a player, they still have two other third round picks. If they give up a fourth, they still have another fourth. So that gives them a lot of flexibility. Now coming up next, more players who the Eagles are tied to, who could they go after, who could they trade for? We’ll get into that here in just a moment, but let’s get to our sponsor for today’s Philadelphia Eagles. Now, it’s brought to you by Prize Picks. All right, let’s talk some Eagles trade targets here. Looking ahead to the NFL trade deadline. If the Eagles need a corner, if that’s the position that they want to make a trade at, Alante Taylor of the Saints, his name has been popping up a lot as a potential Eagles option. I really like Alante Taylor as an option for the Eagles going into the deadline. He’s a really intriguing player at that quarterback spot. 6 foot 199 lbs. He flew in the pre-draft process coming out of Tennessee, clocking a 436 40-yard dash, 49th overall pick in 2022. So, he went in the second round. He has positional versatility. He can play inside or outside. He has fantastic pass breakup numbers, instincts, making plays on the rock. And the Eagles value athleticism. He had a 906 relative athletic score. And I mentioned those PBU numbers by year as a rookie, 11 of them. 2023, 14 of them. Last year in 2024, 16 of them. And so far here in 2025 for the one- win Saints for pass breakups in eight games. That’s the ability to consistently make plays on the football and have really good instincts reading and diagnosing skills at that corner spot. I also like the positional versatility. He can play inside, he can play outside. And depending on what the Eagles want to do with Cooper Deim, Alante Taylor is a player who can help you at both spots in 2022. 22 snaps from the slot, 575 on the outside. In 2023, 718 snaps in the slot, 122 on the outside. In 2024, those 16 pass breakups, 358 snaps on the inside, 605 on the outside, and then this year, pretty evenly split. 201 from the slot spot, 142 at outside corner. From the Saints standpoint, Taylor is in the last year of his contract. And so New Orleans could get value back for him instead of losing him in free agency for nothing. Now, Vic Fangio did say today that it’s easier sometimes to find an outside corner compared to an inside corner. And Vic Fanjo really likes keeping Cooper Deene on the inside because it allows him to be versatile and he’s one of the best players in the NFL there. So I put together this trade idea. Pretty simple one. Saints receive a 2026 third round pick, meaning the Eagles still have two remaining and then the Eagles get Alante Taylor. As for this ESPN trade idea that I saw, this is also the Eagles making a trade for a different corner. Jaquin McMillan of the Denver Broncos. The Eagles get him and a seventh round pick in next year’s draft. The Broncos get a third round pick and then a sixthround pick in 2027. Here’s what ESPN had to say about this move. I like McMillan the best for the Eagles. His replacement is waiting in the wings as the Broncos drafted Jade Baron in the first round. The injury to Pat Certan should not affect the Broncos plans in the slot much as they have Chris Abrams drain waiting in the wings at outside corner. Signed as an exclusive rights free agent last year, McMillan is on an extremely cheap one-year contract and the Eagles would retain his restricted free agent rights after this year. If he ends up exclusively backing up the Jeene in the slot at his current price tag, that’s totally fine. So, those are two corners there. Another one who I’ve talked about on the show a lot is Reek Woolen. I think he’s an intriguing young corner. 6’4, more than 200 pounds, ran in the 42s in the pre-draft, had six picks as a rookie in 2022. Tied with CJ Gardner Johnson and Justin Simmons for the NFL league high. He’s kind of fallen out of favor with Seattle in the years since, but I would take a chance on a player like that. A veteran defensive end who’s been catching my eye is Klayas Campbell. This would be a very 2022 move when the Eagles brought in Domicans and Lynville Joseph. Veterans who weren’t going to be a part of the future, but veterans who ended up playing big roles that year and Klayas Campbell could do that this year. What a career Klayas Campbell has had. One of the best defensive linemen in the history of the NFL. First team allpro in 2017. a two-time second team allpro, a six-time Pro Bowler, and a member of the 2010’s All Decade team. He’s been getting it done for so many different squads. And so far this year, under Jonathan Ganon, three sacks, nine quarterback hits, and five TFLs. He gives you enormous size at 68, 282 pounds, and obviously would be fantastic in the locker room as well. So, who do you want the Eagles to trade for? I’ll leave you with that. Share your thoughts with me down in the comments section. And as always, thank you so much for watching.

TODAY’S POLL QUESTION Do the Eagles need to make a trade? YES | NO
yes we need a safety
Yes they need to trade
I like the saints player and the cardinals player
I am NEVER interested in rumors. Who fckin cares?
Yes
I don’t think the Eagles can repeat without another strong CB. The Lions and Rams receivers will easily manipulate that weakness. This could be too difficult to overcome. We have the draft capital and I believe we should go on in for another Super Bowl this year.
Howie he knows what to do….
Edge rusher
Yes cb3 pass rush and ol
In what world are either of these CBs worth a 3rd round pick? Both are on expiring contracts and McMillian isn't even good, Taylor is above average. No way either of them commands above a 5th round pick. Get an upper echelon CB if you're going to get one and get Riq Woolen for depth. I would still say we need an Edge more though.
Hell yea
I definitely stayed till the end. Great show. Nothing but great information
Yes Edge and a CB2
Arden Key and or Simmons from the titans and denzel ward from the browns.
Soooo you went from you saying we were gonna trade for the browns cb1 to some random no name? 🙄
Yes
Yes we need a new CB
you're a little blasé with those 3rd round picks. i imagine a 4th should do the trick.
A pass rusher needs to be elite that’s going to cost draft picks and money . I believe a corner could be less cost affective long term
Riq Woolen is my choice
Yes. Edge and/or CB….I always complain to who will listen that CB is always a need for us
Yes
Yes

Yes
Cant watch ringo and jackson play all year
I've wanted O-line depth ALL year so just get some people lined up if more injuries keep dropping.
Crosby and Hendrickson are no chance trades
We have o line depth but hes always inactive drew kendall
Research woolen and listen to birds 365 woolen is crap
Myles garrett? 0%
Woolen is shit hes a taller ringo
If they thought safety was an issue tgey woulda got simmons
Cant flip his hips
Get CJGJ, get an edge and maybe OL depth
Yes
