Seriously who asked for this?!

  1. Dude I was about to lose it. Like the entire overtime plus shootout was like this.

  2. I’m a bit lost here. What’s happening? I’m not in the US so I don’t get it.

  3. Stunning to me that NFL RedZone has existed for so long as the template and the NHL/ESPN just fuck it up.

  4. Can’t you just click on one of the games? I watch split screen sometimes and just pick a game and it goes full screen

  5. I hated that. I’m at work watching this and or scene are 40″ and mounted on the ceiling. It was so hard to see from afar!!!

  6. Before I am human, I am a Stars fan.

That being said… what an incredibly dumb decision to make lmao.

  7. At least it was a boring OT and shootout, so shrinking the screen wasn’t as big a loss.

  8. they can put a game on espn2 nobody is watching whatever is on there if a main nhl game is on espn and world series is on also and local teams have nba games on too

  9. Maybe it’s just me but it really feels like FOX and ESPN go out of their way to genuflect towards Dallas for the cowboys, mavericks and stars.

  10. I’m so glad we can all agree – across divisions, rivalries, countries, even continents – that ESPN is fucking horseshit at hockey coverage.

  11. They keep doing this for all sports. They did a god damn split screen in the world series last night with an umpire (not at the game) on a call that was already determined/challenge denied so that he could provide “analysis” while there was a batter at the plate in the 9th inning. Of the fucking world series.

I don’t want split screen ever for any live sporting event. I don’t want a live score tracker of another game. I just want to watch the one live game I tuned in to watch.

  12. ESPN doesn’t give a shit about hockey and it sucks that that hasn’t changed

  13. Oh, you had the luxury of watching your game. Neat. ESPN didn’t even show the sharks v kings until the dusters v caps snorefest was concluded
