Ravens Have a New Mantra | Baltimore Ravens Final Drive

[Music] The Ravens came out of the by-week looking and feeling like a refreshed football team, and it showed on Sunday. A 30-6 win over the Chicago Bears was the kind of performance that can reset momentum down the stretch. And it came with a new mantra, new season, new us. Tight end Isaiah Likely said that was the message inside the locker room. One game at a time, one week at a time. The mantra coming out the buy was, you know, really like new season, new us. I mean, just really just preaching, you know, just wiping the slate clean. Whatever happened in the past, let it stay in the past and let’s, you know, try to focus on, you know, one and0 every week from this point on. And that’s exactly how this team played on Sunday. Sharp, physical, and together. The Ravens defense delivered one of its best outings of the year, while the offense found rhythm behind a balanced attack led by backup QB Tyler Huntley. This is also the healthiest the Ravens have been in weeks. Every player on the 53man roster was present at today’s practice, a rare sight this late in the season, and that depth could make a difference heading into Thursday night’s prime time game in Miami against the Dolphins. Linebacker Roquan Smith said the focus now is simple. Keep stacking days, keep stacking wins. We know what things are and it’s about just more so taking everything one game at a time, not getting ahead of anything at all and just knowing that last week is last week. Not really worried about that. It’s a totally new week and it’s about going one and0 this week and it’s the Dolphins on the schedule know it’s a really good team and it’s more so about going down there and doing what we do. Ro added that since the break there’s been a new spark to this team both physically and mentally. I feel like we all rejuvenated, uh, got a little time away, so it was very beneficial for everyone, got more healthy, and like we all know who we are and who we need to be, uh, play in and play out and game in and game out. And last week is last week, but it’s a totally new week, and a good team in Miami. So excited about the opportunities. Now, the Ravens haven’t been able to string wins together yet this season. And with a short week before heading south to face the Dolphins, that’s the next step if this team wants to make a serious push. It’s a tough turnaround, but it’s a real opportunity to start building some momentum. Miami, sitting at 2 and six, just put together one of their best games of the year in blowout fashion. So, Baltimore will have to earn it under the bright lights on Thursday Night Football. So, in the Ravens locker room, new season, new us isn’t just a slogan, it’s a mindset. That’s it for me today. We’ll see you again tomorrow. [Music] [Music]
