Jalen Brunson is showing that he is going to be a monster this year. He will keep us in almost every single game.
KAT is obviously dealing with an injury, and has to get right. I believe he will.
We’ve missed Deuce for the last two games and his true worth has shown in both losses.
Bridges is solid. OG needs to find his inside outside game. He will.
Josh Hart is coming off of a back injury and did not play in the preseason. He’s not there yet. He’ll get there.
We miss Mitchell Robinson‘s interior physical presence. He’ll be back soon.
Clarkson looks uncomfortable. It’s a new team. He needs some time but he has a nice three and comp penetrate. He’ll be fine.
Shamet has some decent scoring punch off of the bench and is a plus defender.
Kolek looks like he’s a solid two way player. Needs to find his three, but moved the ball well and breaks down the paint.
It’s early. The Knicks will be challenging for the top spot this year.
See ya in the ECF.

No reason to worry 4 games in with a new coach. We have problems but you gotta give it time first, we know what these guys are capable of
Any one know why is Mitch out? I liked the tall man duo Thibs ran with him and Kat during last years playoffs, wondering if we’ll see that again
core guys are proven players whose talent im not worried about. but if we really switching sht up on offense then i have to analyze accordingly because roles change.
Team is gonna be fine but Hart and KAT making a combined 72 million when they have a combined IQ of 11 is worrying
The last 2 previous games followed the same pattern of an amazing and dominative 2nd quarter where we then start the 2nd half with a nice 10+ point lead, but then have a rough 3rd quarter and a then neck to neck 4th quarter, finally ending in a loss. Hoping we’re able to stay strong throughout the entirety of the next few matches.
Kolek may never find a 3..so far has never shown it.
and Clarkson can be bad offensively for long stretches at a time so get used to it
I mean whole weeks
Me neither, but this board loves to doom and gloom everything, plus all the whiny kids complaining about the refs is tiresome man. This is my team. Win or lose. This is my team. LFGK.
Knicks will do nothing with Mike brown as coach
KAT should rest that injury
It’s been half a century, concern is necessary
I’m not concerned about the talent on the floor.
Of all the starters aside Brunson, Mikal is the one player who can get his shot, create, and defend. He is the most complete player of all the starters.
I love Brunson, he’s a top 5 player. Not trying to be a homer, but this game appeared to have less offensive chemistry because they relied so much on him.
If I could change the playbook, I would make Mikal the second option because everyone else needs setting up. We have solid players but they’re short comings that require specific plays to take advantage of their strengths.
It’s about coaching. Mike Brown is the one who can do this.
Way too early to be concerned.
You should be a little concerned about Towns’ appetite for committing very stupid fouls.
Hi unconcerned I’m Dad
Every year it’s something to bitch about and doomsdaying. KAT has had 3 different coaches in 3 seasons. A whole new coaching staff and system. New role players. Chill the fuck out.
Man… Miles McBride has been the difference… honestly we’ve fallen short without him.
I really believe Clarkson is one of the xfactors. He looks uncomfortable out there. He is a scorer and not a shooter.
He needs the ball in his hands when that bench unit is up. You can see he does not have the freedom to score. Just not a good fit with Brown’s system.
Definitely still have faith in the team it’s early and a lot of factors are in play.
It’s evident that our secondary unit is anchored by Deuce. Need the fellas to start being more aggressive and consistent with the open look shot attempts. I know we don’t have the splash brothers on the team buts it’s not like these guys are complete garbage shooters either.
Defense is good but also seems like we hit a stride on both sides or even one side of the ball then the other teams make a change and Brown immediately changes with that change. Don’t bend to them make them bend to us.
I like experimenting with lineups but also in the same vein we need to have the main starters rebuild that chemistry under the Brown era, kind of hard to do that when presumably the fifth guy in Mitch Rob is out and KAT is also dealing with an injury.
OG, idek at this point, just starting off slow, maybe if Suni Lee pulled up he would lock in. Mikal has actually been one of the few bright spots in my opinion. I think his defense needs to tighten up just a bit but other than that I think he has been much better in these first 4 games than what we saw last year.
All in all, we have definitely been worse off before. It will be a long season for sure but one that will hopefully benefit in some fun memories being made.
If you aren’t concerned that this team will never reach the level needed to win a championship, then respectfully you don’t really understand what it takes to be the last team standing at the end of the season.
Well said! Agree on all points!!
Banged up and new coach plus some new bench pieces I don’t think it’s much to be concerned to be 2-2
Not concerned long term. Shots will fall. But their biggest issue seems to be once again terrible third quarters. Also, if Kat isn’t right, bench him. He wasn’t hitting anything tonight.
When Giannis gets on a roll the Bucks are hard to beat and that Hollins kid looks good. McBride was missed tonight.
I still think they need a real backup PG and a decent veteran big man as insurance as I just don’t think they can count on Mitch to be there when they’ll really need him.
we are missing a center. Thats all we need.
I’m concerned these dude are trying to play through injuries…like wtf… please sit down.
This team still isn’t fully healthy & still isn’t getting anything substantial out of its bench. All things will work themselves out
The concern is why are Hart and Towns playing through injuries?
To feign lack of concern is foolish.
Hart should look to fix his finger and hopefully he’s ready to go by January and can be a more reliable shooting threat and the Knicks should rest Towns for 2-3 weeks and hopefully by late November he’s ready to go full strength.
Knicks should not be relying on injured players this early in the season.
Unreal how many people were opposed to packaging KAT for Giannis. Absolutely dumb. Tonight showed why.
The funny thing is people wanted this early last season at the cost of losses to be better in the playoffs. We are doing just that and people are losing their shits.
I’d rather we were going 500 into January with all our guys healthy than making them play through injuries now. I’d rather drop winnable games because we’re sitting KAT and Hart to get them healthy, rather than drop winnable games because they’re playing through injury and playing like shit
We look like ass
I’m concerned about mikal’s shot selection
Yep it’s the 4th game of a new system. Can practice it all you want in training nothing resembles real game intensity. It’s gonna take time and that’s ok people need to calm the fuck down.
