6. He’s playing with energy but I really hope he doesn’t injure himself

7. Can’t quite put my finger to where specifically he improved his jumpshot form but it looks much faster from initial catch to release point

8. His ball handling has improved as well. He used to struggle at the top of the key to get to his spots but now he can get around defenders with the dribble.

12. The way he keeps attacking and going to rim is so nice to see. Finishing at the rim consistently. Last year he put his back to rim so often, which led to turnovers on the kick out or getting stripped or tough shots. He’s done that a few times this year but hasn’t led to turnovers. His relentless attack is producing results. I’m concerned about what will happen when the double teams start. Otherwise, enjoying this and hope he keeps his foot on the gas.

13. It’s a pity people counted him out because of last year but he was too smart of a player to not eventually figure it out .Smart players find a way.

16. He’s playing so much faster and explosive yet so much more composed and decisive. I cannot comprehend how this is the same JJJ as last year, it’s night and day difference.

19. Man Jaime has never looked this good. Miami has never had so many mismatches before.

    Imma need to see it for longer but impressive to start the season

21. He looks a lot faster and more athletic than last year. Seems like he’s gotten good rest and recovery. Hope his condition will last throughout the year. He looked electric!
