  1. I am at a conference all day, but I will be wearing my most professional Blue Jays jersey

  2. Just like the ALCS, we are going into a 3 game series where we have home field advantage if necessary

    It’s so doable

    COME ON YOU JAYSSSSSSSSSS

  3. Snell should be sharper, back on normal rest, so that excuse is gone. Let’s do this boys!!!

  4. Yesavage has his splitter šŸ™šŸ» Dodgers didn’t see much of it game 1, so he could have a great start.

  5. We are so lucky to be able to watch this. Whatever happens here out this has been a great WS full of memorable moments even in the losses. Compared to the spanking the Yankees had last year we are feasting as fans. But of course let’s close the damn thing out with a win in 6 games at home on Friday.

  6. Today is Game 5 of the fucking world series and the Blue Jays are tied 2-2 with home field advantage.

    Are you fucking kidding me?

It’s right there for the taking. So strap in, bear down, and keep playing our game. It’s gotten us this far and will take us further.

Yesavage is going to have his splitter working tonight. Seranthony, Hoffman, and the rest of the bullpen are rested and ready to jump in. Vladdy is getting hot again, Bo’s swing looks better and better every AB, the rest of that lineup is grinding away and contacting our way to run after run. Keep it the fuck up.

Go out there tonight and take it.

I’ll see everybody back here Friday when the Blue Jays have a chance to win the world series at home.

    Let’s go Blue Jays!

  7. Please win this one tonight boys! That way if we do face Yamamoto again on Friday it’s not in a deciding game!

  8. Need to continue to have good plate discipline and run up Snell’s pitch count

  9. It will be interesting to see how the Jays lineup tonight against a LHP if George can’t start. Bo would definitely DH but then you have to decide if you want to start IKF and the rest of the Game 1 lineup minus George or let Barger start against a LHP. I think he has been so hot (and he hit a homer against a lefty – albeit a reliever – in Game 1) you gotta keep him in. I think something like this:

    Schneider LF

    Vlad 1B

    Bo DH

    Varsho CF

    Kirk C

    Clement 2B

    Barger 3B

    Straw RF

    Gimenez SS

this breaks up any concentration of left handed hitters in the order and you can PH Lukes for Schneider of Straw if the opportunity arises.

Hopefully this is all moot and George is ready to hit some dingers

  10. Have to say, I’m loving this

This series was heralded by many as the Dodgers having the best pitching and the best offense. The Jays were supposed to be walked all over.

4 games in, three of their so called ā€œacesā€ have been exposed by our ā€œmid offenseā€. Their high powered offense has been anemic (outside Ohtani) vs our ā€œpedestrianā€ pitching.

Yes our team isn’t full of sexy names but they’re a scrappy bunch. We took them 18 innings with our bench bats playing while their superstars were all in there.

Not to mention Springer is now out, Bichette wouldn’t be playing if isn’t the WS, Vladdy limping. We have outplayed them in 3 of the 4 games, unfortunately we’re 2-2 but that’s perfectly fine. Home field advantage is ours again.

The boys are putting up a fight and I absolutely love it. The Jays are more of a team than the Dodgers.

It’s been an amazing WS and I think our boys have this. Go Jays!

  11. I think Dave Roberts got burned trying to author a new chapter of the Shohei Ohtani mythos last night sending out Ohtani for the 7th. I have a feeling he was picturing Shohei pitching 7 innings straight into Sasaki for 6 outs the day after getting on base 9 times. Instead Shohei proved he is in fact human and not immune to fatigue and the Jays, like they do, took advantage.

  12. As an amateur body language analyzer, the body language in the dugout for this entire series has blown me away. These guys are relaxed and confident and not tight at all no matter the leverage or situation.Ā

They were chill last night and chill throughout extra innings the night before, and nothing has given me more confidence they can really pull this off than how chill and confident and unphazed by the moment everyone from Vladdy to Clement seems

Crazy to contrast that with how anxious and tense fans have been. That’s why we sit at home and watch with bated breath and they stand and perform under the bright lights. Well one of the reasons

  13. What does it mean?

Lifetime Jays fan here, been watching from the UK so lack of sleep probably plays in here.

I had a dream last night that Ohtani came over to my house and we ate fried chicken, he liked it so much that he packed up a doggy bag to take with him for his lunch before the next game.

But what does it all mean?!? Maybe Colonel Sanders got into my mind from game 2…

  14. JSAG and his banger song choices got a shout out on an Edmonton radio station this morning 😊

  15. The World Series has never been decided on Halloween.

We’ve had 6 games happen on Halloween, but none of those games were ever the final game of the series.

Friday could truly be a historic day.

If the Jays win the world series on Halloween, this might be the craziest party we’ve ever seen. You’ll literally have people running around the streets in all different costumes. On a Friday night of all things

  16. “Dodgers in 4, they’re clearly way better”

“One unlucky game doesn’t define a series. Dodgers in 5”

“Dodgers are a good away team, Dodgers in 6” **<- You are here**

“Dodgers in 7, too much pressure for Toronto to win at home”

“This Dodgers team wasn’t good anyways. Too many injuries”

  17. I’m treating this one as close to a must-win game as possible. I don’t want the Dodgers to be up 3-2 and us having to deal with Yoshi in an elimination game.

We know Snell, lots of experience with him, and we did well against him in Game 1. Let’s do it again!

  18. I enjoy watching the Toronto Blue Jays play baseball. They are my favorite MLB team.

When they score a run, I think to myself “yes”.

When the other team scores a run, I think to myself “no”.

  19. >I think this is a quote from Herb Brooks, but we are a team of uncommon men,” third basemanĀ [Ernie Clement](https://www.tsn.ca/mlb/player/ernie-clement/915732)Ā said. “I think a normal team would’ve folded today, and we’re not normal. I think we’re the best team in baseball, and we got out of bed today with our hair on fire and ready to play.

    Lead me into battle Ernie!

  20. It’s easy to forget when I’m all swept up in the actual game action, but it’s still pretty surreal that we’re in the World Series (and heading into game 5 tied up at 2-2 against the Dodgers, no less).

The names and games we’re talking about now will be cemented as Toronto legends for decades, even if individual players don’t go on to have lengthy or memorable careers.

Vlad and Springer and the superstar guys are a given, but underdogs like Ernie Clement, Davis Schneider, Nathan Lukes, etc? They’ll be local heroes here for a loooooong time.

Now let’s fucking get ’em this evening big boys!!!!

  21. I think our best shot at winning the title comes down to tonight’s game. Get to Snell and come back home with needing 1 W.
Lose tonight and then have to face Yamomoto in a game 6 elimination game? No thanks.

Hopefully the rookie has his splitter working and is able to get us through 4-5 innings again, while we give him run support.
