Schwindt, Bobrovsky & Reinhart | Reaction vs Vegas | 10.25.25

Yeah. No, I think I mean the whole day um knowing that I’m playing tonight um just really excited and felt really good going into the game. Um and it feels great to you know get my first on a goalie. You obviously scored in the NFL before. Is this kind of that feeling all over again just because it is the Panthers? Yeah, absolutely. Uh I mean my first was on an empty net so this one feels a little different but uh it feels great. Um, you know, obviously that’s something that I’d like to to build into my game a little bit of offense, but um, you know, I think first and foremost structurally sound and um, do anything I can help to get the team win. What a nice hard work goal, right? I mean, you guys are jamming at the puck and then boom right there. Yeah, absolutely. Um, yeah, I got to give all the credit to Gaji there on the forche and then um, Greers, he’s driving the net. Um, and then it just kind of popped out to me and made my job easy. Just had to kind of tap it in there. So, um, all the credit to those guys. They worked their their asses off to get there on that. Obviously, two veteran guys as a young guy. How are they helping you out there tonight? Yeah, it was great to play alongside them. I think um kind of going into the game, they just told me to keep it simple and and play direct and um you know, I think that was the biggest piece. Um that kind of took the worry away for me a little bit. Um kind of just got to go out there and not think about it too much and um just go out there and play. A lot’s changed since last time you were here. How did maybe this compare, you know, Panthers hockey, you know, learning the system, getting out there, playing it for the first time? Yeah, absolutely. I think it’s it’s a lot different than the first time I played. Um, but at the same time, um, you know, it’s very similar. I think they’ve bred a culture in here. Um, and and that’s a winning culture and, um, you know, I’m just very happy to be a part of it. Could those couple weeks of not playing maybe been beneficial to kind of get your feet under you and that kind of thing? Yeah, I mean, obviously you take it day by day and um, you want to be in the lineup and um, but, you know, when you’re not, you just got to make sure that you’re keeping your body ready for whenever you’re called upon. Um, you know, I think kind of just taking the time to to stay in the gym and and make sure that uh, you know, the cardio’s there. A much different feeling than the last Panther game you played in a month. Yeah. Yeah, it was. Yeah, it was a little different. Um, you know, that was that was a game at the end of the year when um, you know, the Panthers had already clenched uh, the President’s Trophy. So, it was a little bit of a different feeling, but at the same time, it’s an honor to put on that jersey every single night. So, um, you know, I really loved being out there tonight and, um, you know, looking forward to to what’s to come the rest of the year. And beating your former team, does that have any special significance or Yeah, I mean, that’s a part of it, too. I think it’s another hockey game and, you know, I’m not going to really read into that too much, but, uh, you know, it feels good. I think every every game that you win is is good for this team and, um, you know, it’s exciting moving forward. If you had money on the table, were you able to keep it since you got a goal? No. Had to give it away. No, I think we played our game. That was our style. Uh played with the structure, play play uh strong, you know, we uh for check hard and uh offensively did a great job. So keep the puck in there and that was a it was a good game. We beat a good team. So we have to just uh reset and uh build from it. You gotten used to it. There’s long stretches there where you weren’t facing any shots, which is obviously a positive, but kind of how did you kind of weather throughout tonight staying ready? Yeah, again uh guys did my job uh easier. you know, they they they defend hard uh against a really good offensive team. So, that’s uh yeah, that’s pretty much it. It’s your 50th career shutout. I know you don’t care a whole lot about statistics, but for a long career, that’s pretty impressive for you. Yeah, it’s it’s it’s definitely lots lots of games, you know. I again, I thank thank God for the journey. I thank the uh players what I played with and coaches what I’ve been uh coached. So it’s uh yeah and but I’m I’m excited about future. So it’s it’s all in the past and I’m excited about next game. It seems like you’re in your comfort zone right now despite it being so early in the season. Do you feel that you’re where you want you where you want to be in terms of your body and the way you’re playing? Yeah, I feel I feel good. I uh you know I love to play. I have fun. So I got the uh you know group been playing a good team, good good guys, good group of guys in front of me and I’m just uh excited to be here. It’s it’s a it’s a great opportunity for me and I trying to take advantage fully take advantage from it. And we know how much you guys love playing defense and that team’s the highscoring team in the NHL to just completely shut them down has to feel pretty good. It still works, right? Yeah, exactly. Exactly. As I said, the guys defensively did the unbelievable jobs. You know, it’s it’s not easy. They they got really high skill, highend skill, so and uh our guys just shut them down. I think you guys are 4-1 against Vegas since the 23 finals. Is it always nice to beat those guys? I mean, you guys remember that day? You know, it’s you play a good team. It’s always extra motivation in there, you know, and they are a good team. So, and it’s it’s always exciting to to have that challenge. Yeah. I mean, it’s it’s no surprise that’s that’s what creates offense for us. Um, you know, we can sit here and say it’s it uh has been going in the net for us, but you know, when we defend like that, that’s when our opportunities come. So, um, like our effort defensively and we were on the right side of pucks and getting time and space for ourselves. How are you able to get back to your defensive game tonight? Uh, I you got no choice against a team like that. Um, you know, the start they’ve been been off. Um, you know, they’re going to make you pay. So, um, you know, it was just some mindset early on and going to need a little bit more of that. Do you feel like you guys are starting to get back to playing the way that you want to play? Uh I you know it’s such a tough league to do it consistently and you know that’s what we’ve been so successful at. Um you know it’s a long year now it’s about recovering and coming back and um you know finishing off this home stand on a on a good note with the next couple obviously plays all over the lineup for you guys. How do you think he did in between you guys on that line tonight? Obviously look very comfortable. Yeah, I mean I’ve I’ve you know spent a lot of time playing with him over the years. Um he thinks the game so well. He reads it so well. Um he’s always had that ability to kind of go up and down, play in the middle, play on either side. Um you know, when guys go down, guys step up like that and they get put in different uh you know, situations with some some you know, a little bit more opportunity and you know, he’s someone that’s always kind of prepared and um you know, able to handle it. So um you know, he’s it’s fun playing with him. What about the pass Carter had to set up your goal? Obviously took a big hit to to get it done. Yeah, it was it was obviously a nice play, Rody from coming around the net. was able to carry that speed through um you know and and HG was able to you know kind of handle it quick and get it to me on the outside. So it was a nice play.

  1. they showed us who is winner. Gustav was great again in defence. Is he most underrated defence man? From Sweden, from my neighborn! yea, lets go cats!

  2. Густав Форслинг стал играть и совсем другое дело……Бобровский как всегда великолепен, даже сухарь……остальная команда играла как будто и нет травмированных игроков…….Коул Швинд главное так продолжать и дальше…..вперед коты!
