Patriots vs Bucs Stays At 1:00 PM, with Nantz / Romo likely on the call

  1. Unfortunately we play that next Thursday against the Jets, otherwise this game felt like a great flex candidate.

  2. I’m heading to this game and I’m expecting a massive Patriots fan presence. The look ahead line has us as a 1.5 point underdog, which is crazy considering how good the Bucs have been.

This is a completely winnable game IMO. Evans is out, Irving might not be back, Godwin hasn’t looked the same and is very banged up, and Baker is messed up.

People might think I’m crazy, but if Penix and London are back, I actually think this next game against the Falcons will be a tough one. They have a great pass rush, and we suck against receiving backs like Bijan (we allow the 6th most receiving yards to the RB position, Spillane or Gibbens being asked to cover Bijan is a nightmare to me).

  3. I have nothing against Spero Dedes personally, but I have just heard way, way too much of his PBP the past two years.

Even if you don’t Nantz/Romo from a listener’s perspective, the A team means a better broadcast (IE more camera angles for play challenges, etc). I might be begging for Spero back after 3 or 4 “I don’t know, Jim” ‘s though.

  4. I really worry about facing them coming off their bye. That’s like scripting on steroids, and for some reason we have the worst defense in the league vs scripted plays (at least it feels that way)

  5. last week, whenever the ball was not on play I put my game on mute because of how much the commentators were talking non-stop.

It’s fine to be excited about the game but it was too much.

  6. Perfect for anyone trying to go to the Celtics game in Orlando at 7 also. Not many days like this for a New England sports fan in Florida

  7. Just great! Back to watchjng it on some half assed stream because I happen to live in texas so all k get is cowgirls and Texans

  8. This is great cause I want to go to the game but I also got Josh Johnson tickets that night.
