He actually played really good in that hockey game and just two unfortunate bounces and it cost them the game. Brian Dumlan throws it to the net. Steered aside by Ascarov. Here is Kempe in the corner. Piala across to the right point in front for Biffield. Broken up. Picked up Piala. Tip Cory Perry trying to jam it in. score right after the power play expires and Cory Perry with his third goal as an LA King and it’s one- nothing Kings crowd as they remember him playing in Anaheim but watch this pass initially to Leier that sets up an unbelievable chance and then it goes right to his office gets a little tip on it first so Ascarov can’t cover it with his glove keeps the play alive and then it’s just tenacious, knows it’s lle, knows it’s behind the goalender, finds it, gets his stick on it, and lays it across for Eklan. Here is Smith. The Sharks right now seventh in the NHL with their power play efficiency at over 28% trying to jam it into Foley and a save by Keer. Bouncing puck at the Sharks blue line. Mario Ferraro across for his partner Lzigr. The former Toronto Maple Leaf first round draft pick goes in but then he’ll come outside getting contributions from Ryan Reeds. Got a couple of goals already but lost the buck and Kopitar racing for it. Kopitar from a tough angle hit the outside of the net using his edge work to try to free himself from Ferraro. Edison shot save. Ascarov but some big penalty kills as of late. Late versus Chicago. Ekan drop pass. Clingberg Smith moving in tries to lift it top shelf and a save by Keer. Down one- nothing late in the first. Here is Winberg emerging. Shot saved. Keer circling the net. Skinner loose in front meets the Colts in line for San Jose. ESPN bet is the sports book for sports fans. An official partner of the NHL. We start the second one- nothing in favor of the Kings. And the goal from Cory Perry. Here is Barkley Goodro. No Edmonson to the puck. Cory Perry takes the body but makes the play. Gets it out. Here comes Bot into the zone. Top of the circle. Jeff scores. Jeff Bul his second of the year. Two nothing Kings. And he knows it too. He knows this is a way to respond. A big goal here in the second period early. Creates a twoon one. As you can see, Turkot up there as a passing option and he gets Ascarov to lean ever so slightly to his right and boom, just puts it right over the blocker. Tucked it underneath the bar. Here is Winberg again for San Jose. A shot up high. Save Keer loose on the doorstep of can’t jam it in and Keer finally covers for the King. Wow. Wild sequence. Here is Dowy. Settles it down for the Kings. Just completing a change. LA Turkot. It’s the brakes. It’s the trailer now. Dowy top of the circle moving and Dowy shot score. Drew Dowy. Three nothing LA. [Applause] opportunity. Well, the the Kings veteran presence, you know, they they know the momentum changes of a game. They have the pressure all over them and Dowy just so poised. Comes down. Look how wide open he is as the San Jose Sharks lose him in coverage. And he’s got Perry there creating a screen and again he finds the short side. Same as Jeff Malot’s goal. And that definitely deflects off someone there in front. Back for Dickinson across. Clingberg stick handles around Kopitar moving in. Clingberg gets down low. Tries to lift it and it’s fought off and a save by Keer again for LA. Somehow find a way to cover this puck and he does. I mean it’s been two minutes in the offensive zone or more. Just a nice move by Clingberg. Passes a tired Kopitar and Keer. He’s exhausted too. Gets caught almost leaning to his right. Just find him. Ferraro ahead for Celibbrini. Cross the line. Smith top of the circle missing the net. Goes wide. Tried that wrist shot from Smith. This top line out there for the Sharks. Celebrini. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] You could feel it coming, Roxy. You could feel the momentum coming for the San Jose Shark. They do a nice job of puck retrieval there. Little give and go with Cabbrini. Back to Smith who loses himself. Watch both Kings defenders come towards Celibbrini. He just stays back door. The Ducks beating the Kings 43 in a shootout. Here comes San Jose and Eklan pivots, throws it to the net and Ellen’s off to the corner. hit a body in front. Ekkan again in a loose puck for the Sharks. His wrist shot saved score. No curv. And we have a onegoal game in San Jose. [Applause] [Music] A second line that has some connection. They played well in the last game and they’ve had some chances here tonight. Gwenberg doing a nice job with a screen in front and is able to corral that puck and shield off Dowy and finds Kurishv wide open back door as we’re starting to see some holes in the LA Kings defensive zone. Two back door goals where both they got into the offensive zone, they got themselves back in this hockey game and that’s what Ryan Worski wants these young players to learn is to continue to push back no matter the score. Kings who had a three nothing lead. It was their largest lead at any point this season after over a thousand career games walks in a great edgework. Pass across Kerse Clay shot missed it high. 5 seconds to go in the power play. Here’s Skinner. Gets around Lefar down low. pass across [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] left alone and been given too much time. Now this is on a penalty kill so you expect that. And a nice job by Dowy just taking away the lane on Kersev initially forcing him to make a shot that misses wide but good cut retrieval and you know everyone just stuck in mud. They were out there for a long time for the LA Kings on the penalty killers does a nice job finding Wenberg that far side that’s three goals tonight on the backside and San Jose putting pressure with the power play unit on. They’re 0 for three so far in the man advantage. They score it right after the last one expired. Loose and save by Keer. He’s got the paddle down. Sharks moving along. Wberg at the doorstep. Misa trying to jam it in and somehow Keer keeps it out. Puck is still loose and finally they blow the whistle and somehow Darcy Keer. He brings it across into the middle of the ice and almost catches Keer. They do a nice job retrieving the puck. Kurishv. It goes back to Misa right there. See Keer come to his left. He fakes it and tries to go back to his right and is almost able to put the puck right by him. Just good presence and patience. Unable to elevate it. Look at the right pad of Keer just up against the post as well. Anchored and the puck is loose. Wow. And it eventually ends. Good stick work and lifted out by the Kings. Kempe through the center circle and he tries to throw it on net. Blocked. Held up by Luke. picks up the loose kebe tried to make a move and he just couldn’t pull the trigger. Last year LA gave a fewer than two and a half goals per game. This year they’re allowing over three a game. Shot score and the Kings reclaim the lead and it’s Brent Clark for LA. [Applause] Well, how big are all those Kemp Keer saves now? In the neutral zone. And we’ve seen Brent Clark, you know, his offensive skill, it’s been on display last year, early parts of this year. He makes no mistake about it. Just coming down that right side, gets to the D. Sharks get it down low. So takes little bit of a check there from the net minder. Keer Clingberg at the line. Celebrini at the dot. Shot saved. Keer pass across and it goes through to the other side from Wenberg. Here is Cllingberg out top. One-time. Celebrating fought off by Keer. Leading ever so slightly. Tries to go short side. Another huge stop by Keer. Look at the traffic in front by Wenberg. And again, Keer just gets that left shoulder on that second chance by Celibbrini. They’re just Here is Celibbrini again inside 30 seconds. Bouncing puck. Clingberg for the Sharks. Corrals it. Celebrating. Top of the circle and the pass intercepted. CC in front.
