Los Angeles Chargers vs Tennessee Titans | Week 9 Game Preview
Tennessee Titans at home this week. Any TitanUp fan watching this preview right now, tip of the cap to you. We salute you. You have OG status, one- win team, and we’re to week nine. Your squad welcomes the LA Chargers this week whose offense got hit by Electro last week. Herbert just throws wide open Gatston inside the 40 to the 34 yd line. Whoa. In their case, that’s a good thing, of course. shook off the webs to put up 37 points and now get a Tennessee defense that’s been handing out points like a 65year-old lady hands out candy corn on Halloween. Let’s start on the ground with this one. Give LA’s running back his props and let him lead the way cuz he might do so again this week. Isn’t Vidal supposed to be good for your hair? Sure has been good for LA’s rush attack. Kamani with his second huge showing in three weeks after taking over a starter. 117 yards on 5.1 a carry versus Minnesota. Punched one in. So 110 plus in two of his three starts. Make it a seventh rush and make it a touchdown. Videll into the end zone. And now he gets a Tennessee defense that’s granting running backs 5.1 yds per try on the year after giving up an 80yard house call to Jonathan Taylor. 153 yards allowed on just 12 attempts. JT in the open field down the sideline staying in bounds still going Taylor the distance Titans gave up three touchdowns to Taylor overall also gave up three TD passes to Daniel Jones a 136 rate 270 plus yards 9.4 Four per try. Jones rolling right looking for someone. Throws. He’s got downs. Touchdown. Ugly season numbers versus the pass as well. And when you combine all that, you get 28 points per game allowed. Only three teams worse. Jones looking deep down the field and it is caught by Pitman. Gave up 38 points to the Colts who do have the number one scoring offense in the NFL. But the Chargers looked the part versus Minnesota. Nine for 13 on third down, three for four in the red zone. 24 plus points, three straight now. Oh, for the touchdown by Trey Harris. Justin Herbert threw a pick. That has been an ongoing issue for Herbs. One in five of his last six, but last week countered it with three touchdowns, a 120 plus rate. Lots of throws that show off that arm. It’s real and it’s spectacular. Going for it. Oh, out in front. Holden. Lad Maki. Touchdown. Eyes up here, please. Herbert, also a threat to convert third downs with his legs, comes off a season high 67 rush yard outing, has run for 30 plus in five games. Now on third and four, Herbert takes off. Herbert gets the first down. Lad Mani flashed that Hawaiian driver’s license, got in and went for 88 yds and a TD, a touchdown in three of his last four, 67 plus yards and three straight. Keeps his eyes downfield, fires caught. That’s going to be a first down and a lot more for Lad Maki. And this Orande Gadson kid at tight end showing he’s here for the long haul. 77 yards in a TD. Touchdown back-to-back games. 68 plus yards and three straight. Caught. Touchdown. Gadston. Keenan Allen, the only other guy to crack 40 yards versus the Vikings, checked out with 44. On the run, he throws. He hits Allen. Quinton Johnston did not show up in the standard box score. He played, but Herbert ghosted him Charlie Brown style. Speaking of holes, Tennessee’s offense has plenty of those. No team putting up fewer points per game. Put up 14 last week, and that brought their season average up to 13.8. They are the proverbial rock Chuck kept getting instead of tricks or treats. Ward having a tough time with the snap, able to corral it, now throws on the run, incomplete. They’re also worst on third down, getting into the cage with a Chargers defense that finally put the Brakes on a three-game streak of giving up 27 or more points by holding Minnesota to 10. Three for 11 on third down and only one red zone trip allowed. Third and two, battered up in the air and knocked down by W. Holding teams to 21 points a game. Derwin James did leave last week hurt, so watch his status. Didn’t really need him versus Carson Wentz. This is a team holding quarterbacks to 184 passing yards a game. Top shelf in rating allowed at 78 after holding Wentz to a 68 rate. Held him to 144 yards. One touchdown and picked him off. Wentz fires too high. Picked off. Intercepted there by Mickens. So here comes rookie Cam Ward. I’m not a Ward apologist, but 259 yardds week eight. That’s 250 plus in three of his last four at least. looking to throw it and he’s got a wideopen Gunner Helm for his first NFL touchdown. Does have an INT in six straight games, but only one in each. That’s kind of a win, right? Hooked up with Chamary DK for 93 yards. That’s 70 plus yards for the rookie back-to-back games. Hanging on to it now throws. DK with a great catch on third down. 53 yards went to tight end Conquo. 46 plus yards in four of his last six. Ward fires a strike and there is Okunquo. Titans have the coolest names in their passcatching room. Rookie Elich I AO Manor 52 yards still completes it to IO Manor on a gain of 26. Cam is this year’s grass expert. Of course, you don’t get high smelling it though, don’t worry. Which he’s done a lot as he took four more sacks last week, four plus and three straight for the most planted quarterback of 2025. More pressure coming and he is buried. LA’s pass rush 22 sacks top 10 good racked Wentz five times last week Khalil Mack is third in four games Tuli Tulie Palotu with one leads the team with six and Justin Ibiggby with two quietly has four for the year now look out right there get sacked LA’s run defenders should feel fresh team is giving up 4.9 yards per carry this year which isn’t good yet the Vikings ran just 11 times on them never hurt them and Mason gets hit in the back field. Ferryman hit him first. Loss of one. Titans used Tai J Spears and Tony Pard with some success. Duo hit at four plus yards per carry combined over 103 yards combined. One touchdown. Spears breaking free for a 41 y. Taj Spears still going down the sideline. Spear stiff arm and finally shoved out of bounds. Chargers beat the Titans last year. They’ve played each other three years in a row. Give us some more of that 1985 action. Right. That was a gem and a half. In a high-scoring contest with the Chargers, the Oilers drew first blood. Mike Rosir responded to the challenge with two fourth quarter touchdowns that paved the way for another Oiler fantastic finish. Chargers lead by a point 35 34 13 seconds left. Luck back to pass goes over the middle for Tim Smith inside the 35. Now take a timeout with 7 seconds left. A 51 yd attempt. Lee Johnson in the hole. Snap back. Fall down. The kick is up on its way. Oh, the Oilers win. The Oilers 37 to35 victory kept them in the AFC Central race. Heat. Heat. [Music]

Here before the “Titans fan rages at” guy gets here to make a reaction video
I’m cheering for Both! Go titans Go Chargers ⚡️⚡️💪🏾💪🏾
Chargers over Titans 27-17
I'm picking the Chargers to win this game. At this point, I think Tennessee's only mission is to focus on Cam Ward's development, perhaps by just going for it on every fourth and goal and such. He's got potential, but he ain't better than Herbert. Bengalsforever❤
Let’s go Chargers!!! ⚡️⬆️
Don’t trust the chargers in this one
Chargers fans know that this has trap game written all over it :/
Go chargers go!
Lets go Bolts! ⚡️
at min 2:28 "they're real and they're spectacular" 😂
Chargers 21 – 4
The Los Angeles Chargers coming off their home win against the Minnesota Vikings🔵🟡⚪️⚡️
The Tennessee Titans coming off their road loss against the Indianapolis Colts🔵⚪️🔴⚔️
Looking forward to playing our former head coach Mike McCoy. And Keenan Allen and Denzel Perryman are still on the team from those years
The INTs that Herbert throws are largely not his fault. Weve seen alot of them come from batted or tipped at the line passes as well as drops from recievers.
😂 Adam is diabolical with this one!!!!!
Chargers win 48-17
Chargers gonna light them up. Lol
Chargers 31 Titans 16
I got the Titans in a BLOWOUT!!
On my goodness, what has happened to Adam Rank? 😳
Chargers 34-3
Chargers will win this game. Chargers 38 – Titans 7
I'm so happy you brought back some of the old classic NFL scores. I don't mind the new announcer, feels current and appropriate for the times but loved that old narrator as well!
Chargers-31
Titans-23
The only bad mojo here for the Chargers is Adam Rank picking them – beating a scoreless Titans.
🫶🏼
Let’s Go Chargers!!!! I’ll be at the game!!!
Whats your beef with my boy Ladd?! Lmao
Chargers blow out the titans
Chargers winning with their rushing game 27-14
Bolts still have to be cautious, remember the Giants game? God I hope not.
Chargers 31-10
Vidal is Tomlinson!
Bolt up ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Rumor has it chargers sitting starters, because they know titans just going to allow them the win with ease.
Titans will put up points but chargers will pull out the win
