1. Love everything about this guy including the optimism. Fans understandably can be pessimistic but if you’re a player you’ve got to think you have a shot at it all

3. If he helps lead the team to the playoffs and even a playoff win, that would be MASSIVE from a rookie

12. Love the confidence. This kid was custom made for Philly, work ethic, good attitude, says the right things. He’s going to fit in great.

13. The reality of the Sixers is that Embiid is an important piece. He is an elite scorer and generates insane gravity on the court. His defense will come along.

    Really glad that Maxey and VJ are constantly talking up the entire team, Embiid included.
