Jeff Nelson was really good. Shame he won’t be back.
Also surprising that Flaherty was let go. He was the play by play when Ruocco and Kay weren’t available.
These aren’t the firings we want.
Nelson, too? That sucks, he had been really growing on me. I even liked Valle as well when he was on. I wonder who the replacements will be. Betances getting a bigger role? Ottovino?
I would take Nelson over Girardi any day

Have to imagine with Flaherty gone that Shackil will end up being the back up play by play guy when Kay and Ruocco aren’t around or don’t want to take a certain trip.

I’m not gonna miss him too much. He’s kind of boring with the charisma of a sock and has a level of arrogance I don’t care for. But it’s still interesting nonetheless.
I liked Flaherty. Nelson got his feet wet he may get a job somewhere else.
Carlos Beltrán can join them, most of what he says are just catchphrases. Cameron Maybin is a strategist and has the mind of a chess player, they need to clone him.

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I didn’t mind Flash in the booth. He was stiff for a while but he got better.
