Josh Hart speaks after Miami Heat beat New York Knicks
It’s just one of those days where the ball doesn’t work. Yeah, man. You know, there going to be, you know, games like that where you have good looks and good shots and now fall in and you got to, you know, figure it out defensively. Um, you know, give him a lot of fast break points and stuff like that out to, you know, miss shots or bad attribute to that. So, um, you know, game three is dirty. Um, you know, it is a grown game, but you know, we’re not How big of an adjustment is it to go from shooting what 34 threes a game last year to getting a 54 in a night like tonight? Um uh I don’t think it’s too much of an adjustment cuz we have good shooters. Um you know we’re we’re uh you know pushing the pace and doing those kind of things. So we got to make sure that we’re just setting ready and obviously we’re crashing and doing those kind of things. So, um, you know, we knew this was going to be, uh, a tough one. Um, you know, this is kind of like our first game of having, you know, some some adversity. So, um, you know, we we’ll continue to build. Coach talked about the transition baskets hurting you guys. What did you see how that end? Yeah, I felt like we were we were a step slow. Um, you know, gave up 40 plus transitions. we knew that was going to be um a key a key element, you know, today obviously just with everything we had going on uh yesterday and and this team pushing the pace. Um so we knew we had to um try to limit that and you know we didn’t do a good job of it. How much of the following did you think was just being a step slow or just playing extra aggressive? Um no I don’t think it was extra aggressive. I just think it was a step slope uh you know physically and mentally. Um you know obviously uh you know there there was some where you know we kind of you know put our hands in and reach and stuff like that and that’s um that’s more of a mental thing you know make sure you’re in those gaps um and and you know getting your hands out. So um I just think you know some of that was more mental and physical. when you have fatigue sometimes you um resort to your habits and you know obviously it’s a new group and new coach we haven’t formed those habits yet but um you know this game three you know and we’re you know still learning and getting better. You obviously played with all these guys last year but with a new system the time this year is it is it tough to kind of step in and know where everybody’s going to be knowing um a little bit. I think honestly just for me it’s just um So, right now just, you know, trying to get my win. Um, you know, today was um, you know, was a was a was a tough one in terms of energy and stuff like that. And obviously, um, you know, being down, you know, you know, hurt us in terms of that’s a guy that can, um, obviously knock down shots, pick the ball up, push the base, those kind of things. So, you know, days like this where um, you know, I don’t have it in my, you know, I’m still trying to get my legs in. you know, someone like that is is perfect for me to be like, you know, yeah, go get me like this. You you know, you get in. So, um, you know, it’s it’s a it’s learning. It’s growing for me. It’s just more so just kind of trying to, you know, get my legs on. I mean, there’s a lot of positions here where it was like mentally I’m like, “Okay, I got to get out here.” And it just steps off. So, thanks Josh. Thanks. Thank you. It’s F.

SOUND LOW
Josh giving no credit to the Heat and the pace of the Heat but instead just says he’s out of shape rn 😂 like bruh just admit it— you guys were shook by Miami! Also it’s funny how he says oh it was hard because we didn’t have Deus McBride. Ummmm Miami didn’t have Tyler Herro, a much better player, and also Miami has a roster with fewer superstars and you just don’t hear the Heat complaining about missing bench personnel.
EXCUSE MACHINE JOSH HART, LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!
