PG expected to make season debut within the next two weeks

  1. I’m really excited to get PG back. Regardless of what you think of him and if you think he’s not star level, he’s damn sure a lot better than some of the guys we’re running at the forward spots.

He’ll be taking all of the minutes going to guys like Jabari Walker, and some of of Barlow/Watford

The improvement relative to the guys playing his minutes is pretty large

  2. I hope there won’t be any minutes restriction. Otherwise what is the point of being back next later than the next game after Boston ? He was literally practicing full 5 on 5 when the season started

  3. Want him back of course and generally optimistic about him but it’s a shocking gap between how little i care now vs when he hyperextended the knee last preseason.

  4. Honestly how the vibes are currently all we need from him is some defensive and I’m more than happy. The start of this season has been awesome but the defense has been horrendous. The Wizards scored almost 80 points in a half the other night.

  5. The Sixers pace isn’t that good think just cause it’s been so slow for so long. Not really worried about PG slowing it down when Embiid does that so much more.

  6. People seriously need to move on from what was a nightmare of season last year. Acting like Joel and PG won’t be useful or two of the best players on this roster when healthy just shows how little you know about basketball. Suggesting they be traded, Joel in particular, is even more dumb.

  7. Some of you guys are straight haters. Yeah, he’s been a disappointment as a Sixer so far, but for starters you can’t ask Maxey and VJ to carry such a huge load 40+ minutes a night all season and you’re telling me you wouldn’t rather PG than Justin Edwards, Jabari Walker and Eric Gordon minutes? Come on

  8. Why do the angle of the picture and the look on his face make him resemble Ozempic DJ Khaled?

  9. Why are people here saying we’re fast paced and PG might ruin that? We’re 18th in the league in pace of play. Just because we get out in transition more often than last year doesn’t make us a high pace offense.
