Major NFL News Should WORRY Nick Caserio + The Texans Broke The 49ers & Desperate Team Signs CJGJ
We got a jam-packed show on tap for you today. A ton of news around the NFL. So, I thought, you know what? I have a live show today at 3:30 Central time, but I needed to make a video before that. So, you get an extra video today. Make sure you still tune in. We got a live show 3:30 Central time. Be there or be square on today’s program. Did the Texans break the 49ers? They make a slew of moves after that loss to Houston in week eight. Also, some bad news for Nick Cacerio. Aiden Hutchinson just got the bag. We’ll talk about his contract and what that means for Will Anderson Jr. And then also CJ Gardner Johnson. He finds yet another home in this 2025 NFL season. Will this one stick? I’ll tell you who that is and my thoughts on CJ Gardner Johnson at the end of today’s show. But we got a slew of birthdays on today’s program. D’Angelo Ross, Tank Dell, and the old man Denil Hunter is turning 54 today. Denal Hunter, happy birthday to you, good sir. And I got one of the best guys in the business, my man Cullen on the ones and twos. And we just we just decided, you know what? We’re going to sing them happy birthday. Go down, spam those HBDs. You ready, Colin? Let’s do it. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday. There we go. Cullen, the guys on the ones and twos. Shout out to Cullen. And shout out to D’Angelo Ross, Tank Dell, and Denil Hunter. Spam those HDDs down below in the comments section. Let’s get into today’s program where the Texans absolutely broke the 49ers. After the Texans put that whooping on them in week eight, San Francisco has panicked and made multiple moves along the defensive line, they could not get to CJ Strad to save their life. So, what do they do the very next day? They go out and they’re hitting the phones, hitting the phones. They make a move with the New England Patriots. Not the only move the Patriots made yesterday. They also traded Kyle Duggar to the Steelers, but they send Keon White to the 49ers for a late round pick swap in 2026. Obviously, the 49ers saw that game up against the Texans. The O line dominated in that matchup and they said, “We’ve got to change things and we’ve got to change things right now.” They also went out and signed another former edge rusher of theirs and a former first round pick in Cleveland Ferrell who actually had a decent year with the 49ers I believe in 2023, but they’re like, “We need to add help right now because this unit that the Texans have, they’re not, you know, a top 10 unit in the NFL by any stretch of the imagination, but still they put the whoop on. Arante Ursery, shout out to him. The Texans rookie left tackle had a great game. Also, the interior I thought had a pretty decent game up against the 49ers. Were able to run the ball, were able to protect CJ Strad. All around a great day for the Texans and the 49ers, they went ahead and had to panic. All right, let’s get into maybe the reason why all of you clicked into today’s show. Massive deal alert. And this is bad news for Nick Cacerio in this Texans front office as Aiden Hutchinson got the bag and Will Anderson Jr. That price tag keeps on climbing. First up from Jordan Schultz. He had the breaking news. The Lions and Pro Bowl pass rusher Aiden Hutchinson have agreed to a 4-year extension worth $180 million with $141 million guaranteed. Um, pretty decent money. I mean, if my if my boss offered me this contract, James, if you’re watching, I would 100% accept it as well. Shout out to Aiden Hutchinson. But the question lies I I did the mental math for you. That goes out to about $45 million a year. So simple question. Actually the sponsor of today’s program prize picks. So I’m going to ask you a little more or less. Will Anderson Jr. will he get more or less than $45 million a year? That’s the mark that Aiden Hutchinson just set. Let me know down in the comments section. More or less. Listen, while you’re down there, go ahead and check out the sponsor of today’s program. It is Prize Picks, America’s number one daily fantasy sports app out there. The hard-hitting football action is even better with Prize Picks. The weather might be changing. It hits cold today, but the feeling of being right, oh, that never gets old. So, keep the season rolling on prize picks by getting $50 instantly in lineups when you play your first $5. It’s super simple to play. Just pick more or less on at least two to six player stat projections. If you get your picks right, you could cash in. If you’re like, “Jeremy, I don’t know what to even do for this week.” Well, don’t worry. I got you covered with a lineup, and I’m actually featuring one of prize picks new features, the stacks feature. You can do the same guy, CJ Strad, and you can go up to three projections with him. I only did two in this lineup. I went with his pass yards and his rush yards. Of course, I’m going the more on both of those bad boys. CJ Shroud actually sneakly Cullen, he’s been pretty good on the ground this year. So, give me the more on his rush yards and pass yards. Courtland Sutton, I think, gonna get a locked down by our corner. So, give me the less on his receiving yards. And JK Dobbins, you know, I’m all in on the Texans defense. So, I’m not going for JK Doppins more on his rush yards either. I think this Texans defense is going to have another shutdown game up against Denver. You can use my picks or go ahead and make your own. Just do it over on Prize Pix because they put their users first. So all withdrawals are fast, safe, and secure. Prize picks, it’s good to be right. All right, so let’s take look at the, you know, grand scheme of things in this one for you where this contract puts Aiden Hutchinson. $45 million a year, just a tad lower than the Micah Parson’s deal with the Packers this off season that put him at 46.5. And I mean, the Broncos are just laughing to the bank because you don’t even see him on screen, but they already extended Nick Bonito. He’s not even in the top 10 anymore for highest paid edge rushers. And I expect I mean, you know, Denil Hunter there at number five, 35.6 million. Will Anderson Jr. no way is taking any less than TJ Water, Miles Garrett. That is the base floor, I believe, for a Will Anderson Jr. contract. And it could go as high as that number for Aiden Hutchinson or Micah Parsons. Remember, Aiden Hutchinson got that contract. Just last year, he had a devastating injury. Will Anderson Jr. has not had that and he’s had an excellent career so far with the Houston Texans. 105 tackles in 36 games played, 34 uh tackles for loss, 23 sacks, and 51 quarterback hits. And yeah, he also leads the NFL this year in pass rush win rate. The Texans, they need to prioritize Will Anderson Jr. and tried to extend extend him early this off season. The only kind of saving grace for the Houston Texans is I was looking before I started today’s show. I don’t think there’s any other edge rusher that’s due up next. I think it was Aiden Hutchinson. And the reason why the Lions tried to get that done is because of this guy right here, number 51, Area 51, Will Anderson Jr. I think, you know, the fact that there’s nobody else that really is in the same stratosphere, gives the Texans a little leeway to kind of slowplay the contract extension this off season, but I still think they should get it done as soon as possible. Make it a priority this offseason. Nicerio if you’re watching because I I really think Will Anderson Jr. is the heart and soul of this team and in my opinion he is the best player the Texans have on their roster. I mean from anyone on this team right now. I don’t think anybody could disagree. If you had to tell me who is the number one player, the best player the Texans have. He’s the top player at his position. Will Anderson Jr. I think he’s up there with Miles Garrett, TJ Watt, you know, Micah Parsons as the best edge rushers in the National Football League. But that leads to a question. These guys were selected one pick apart. CJ Strad was selected number two. Will Anderson Jr. the Texans traded up with the Cardinals to select him at number three respectively in their draft? They can both get extended this off seasonason. But who do you think puts pen to paper first? Is it 51 Will Anderson Jr. or is it seven CJ Strad? Let me know down in the comments section. Give me a 51 or give me a seven. Who do you think gets paid first? And last on today’s show, just had to tell you just cuz I thought it was kind of funny coming across my timeline this morning. The Bears are assigning safety CJ Gardner Johnson to their active roster after his visit today per agents Kevin Connor. And actually, before we go to me full screen, I do have my guy producer Cullen in the building. And funny enough, Colin is actually our main producer for our Bears channel. So, I just had to ask you a quick question, Colin. Are the Bears really this desperate? Yes. They’re they’re this desperate where they need CJ Gardenner Johnson. Yes. I mean, look, last week they got carved up by Tyler Huntley, uh, when they were using, you know, guys like Nick Mloud, you know, Nan Wright. It’s it’s not looking good in Chicago. So, you bring in John Garder Johnson probably to play your nickel position, not even playing safety. He’s got the history with Dennis Allen. Yeah, it’s uh it’s desperate times in Chicago. Yeah, I mean luckily for him, like Cullen just mentioned, and shout out to my man Cullen on the ones and twos, CJ Garner Johnson is getting, you know, some relatively, you know, familiar faces with his former coach and Dennis Allen, who he played with for the New Orleans Saints. And then also, we know the biggest problem that CJ Gardner Johnson had with the Texans, he wanted to play the Jaylen Petri role, which is that nickel slot role, and it looks like he’ll be able to do that in Chicago. You know, on a serious note, wish him nothing but the best. I I don’t have any ill will against CJ Gardner Johnson. Um just thought it was kind of funny to see him kind of bounce to another team this uh during this season, but you know, maybe it’s a good fit with him and the Bears because they def definitely have a need in the secondary. All right, that’s all I have for you on today’s show. If you want to hit me up on X, you can do so at Jeremychugs. And a reminder, I’ll be live later on today. So if you made it to the end of today’s video, drop those H’s and I better see you later on today at 3:30 Central time.

He will either be right under Miles Garrett, or a few millions above him.
I want to know where it says that Will Anderson has to accept a contract for 45 or 50 million a year. Maybe we'll Anderson Jr will do what Michael Jordan did and take a lesser paying contract so his team will have enough money to sign other good players. Danielle Hunter is on the last year of his contract right so maybe we'll Anderson will take less money so the team will have enough money to sign danille Hunter and CJ Stroud.
Give him 51 million a year for the next 7 and let the big dog eat
Since Will Anderson JR is The No'1 Player On The Team He Should Get The No'1 Contract Period!!!
I think 51 gets his money before Stroud
Oh God. Caleb's season might be a nightmare now that Gardner-Johnson joins them
Happy birthday yall
#51 When we make this crazy playoff push, And this Defense continues to score TD'S for us. This Year. We will see the highest paid DE ever in history! 61Mil a year.
Watch
51
51 needs to get paid first
If the y pay WAJ 40m+ then hunter is definitely gone when his contract expires since we still gotta pay CJ
I think CJ and Will will go to the 5th year of there rookie contract to get to the super bowl
46.75 for WAJ
will deserves the same, but will take less.
HHHHH
51
36-38 mil a year is fair these contracts those guys signed was after they had huge seasons WAJ it doing good only getting better but his next deal would be way better

CJGJ must be a huge tool.
Happy birthday
i truly think both take paycuts to get wins and players around them to build idkπ€·π»ββοΈ
PrizePicks wonβt let me withdraw or set lineups and there is no customer service phone number.
Happy bday!

I am still a fan of CJ but WAJ earned a new contract and CJ has not yet. They should have CJ play out his contract and he should not get a market resetting deal based on his play in totality.

Happy cash day kings π
More my guess 50 mill
If I had to guess he gets the same or slightly less, questionable move by the lions, best ability is availability
GO TEXANS!!
Anderson needs to get paid first CJ stoud is up and down he's our guy but still he's a little shaky Anderson is consistent so pay Anderson first.
OK w/ the Stevie Wonder version ππ₯
I said Anderson was getting paid first the last time you asked this question, and it's still Anderson. The man is The Real Deal
I think Anderson gets less
Respectfully WAJ is not in the same conversation with Myles G. Letβs be clear WAJ is really good but he is not MG!!!
I honestly am hoping that many of the players take a page from mahomesβs book and take less to allow more money for help in other areas
