Knicks vs Celtics Rapid Recap: Deuce Starts, Brunson Cooks

Good win. Good. Good win all the way around, man. 2 and 0 on the campaign. Talk about getting everybody involved and playing cap off ball, but don’t forget who the guy is on this team in the third and the fourth cap. Take us home. 31 points for Captain Clark. Deuce in the starting lineup. He has 32 minutes. CP, how many times do we see McBry get 32 minutes? Forget the stat sheet because the stat sheet wasn’t as kind to Deuce. But overall, I like Deuce’s energy with that unit. Towns look great. We love to talk about how he likes to foul, but to me, I feel like tonight was a big night in him getting fouled and getting to the free throw line. The three-point shooting, like it felt like could not miss. I honestly feel like he could have had like three or four more that were left on the table. I love that we already start the season taking out two teams that was echoed to the mountain tops that we just could not beat in the regular

  7. I’m loving how the offense looks early on! I like that Brown has The Cap playing off the ball a lot, preserving his energy. I hope Mikal stays aggressive on the offensive end and I love the hustle of Kolek! Can’t wait til Mitch gets back!

  13. It’s very good Deuce gets the opportunity opposite to bench play. He’s weathered trade speculations since his second season with Barrick and Quickly back in the past, and even of this season the same speculation? Overall, his game has picked up so to ship him off to a teams that wouldn’t get the bad end of the stick and us having to actually have to pay anyone higher skill wise is irrelevant ? Based on Deuces skill set, it would behoove Knick fans changing the chemistry. He’s a Knick at night and Day…keep em!!

We beat Boston in the play offs so that corner concerning last years regular season is a back page of irrelevance … what was done in the playoffs against a Better version of Boston should be taken into consideration. To mention last years regular season play against this years regular play behooves me why inventory is congruent when in fact the teams are seriously different !! Chemistry is key, and the Knicks changed coach’s as well players and so has the Celtics, however…their best player is benched so it would def had been a greater difference between play Performance?

Heart finds KAT a lot this been from last years Brunson don’t look for KAT much but I would love for him to find him a lot time he be open ans Brunson would take the shot I kno he gone take the bulk of the shots but his shot diet can be a lot more cleaner I seen better shots from our main man in his saying like he tryna score 30-40 a night and honestly I think KAT has to be involved more for Brunson can score more if he want 30-40 a night and I don’t wanna here that’s a lie lol look at victor had 40 on 20 shots 😅

  21. I didn't expect to see a stark difference from our team last year but yes these two games have been very different in offensive philosophy. I like having more people involved because if Hart didn't have it we could go to more Deuce or Clarkson. Nobody has to feel like they need to be a hero because there is plenty of help.

  25. I'm just thinking of these players late in the season running like the wind cuz they averaged less than 40 minutes a game for once and it just makes me smile.

  30. When you shoot 38% as a team, and still win, to me that's huge… Our defense was on point and capitalizing on all those second chance points from offensive rebounds is what I love to see. Imagine when "Mitch please" comes back.
