When we were leaving the last home game, we walked out with Mikey, your co-host, also an in arena host in um for the Kings. And when you’re walking in the bowels of Crypto.com Arena, this is a side that fans don’t get to see. And it’s not that we take it for granted, but we just kind of know what to expect down there, so nothing is ever like so wild. But when you’re down in the bowels of crypt of the crypt, there’s players of the crypt. They’re everywhere. You know, that’s where the walk. You literally never know who you’re going to see. You never know who you’re going to see. They’re working out. We’re in We have to like step over them. Sometimes they’ll be like stretching and like literally you got to go around them. Like they’re everywhere. And when teams come through that have a superstar on them, the superstar is still just a player and will also be out in the bowels of the So, while we were leaving, good old Sydney Crosby is just doing a little bike ride at the end of his shift and um post we’re just Mikey straight up just walks by and was like, “Peace out, Sid. See you soon. Good luck up in San Jose. You guys are going there next, right?” And we’re just like, we turned our heads like what? Like, you and Sid are boys. Like, what’s going on? And Sid, honest to God, like I I only have the best little small interactions with him because he is a superstar. His time is extremely limited. Crazy superstar. Yeah. Yes. His his PR person. Like I’ll remember I never I was at an all-star game and I was trying to get evergreen content about everybody’s favorite wrestlers and he was like walking out of the room and I was like, “Sid, Sid, like like what can I just ask you one question?” His PR person was like, “No.” And like I was like, “Oh, it’s okay.” And he’s like, “I’m sorry.” sorry. And I was like, it was just going to be who your favorite wrestler was. And then what comes with the job that’s unspoken, but it’s been like drilled into me since being on the ice crew is you you’re basically told to not not talk to anybody, but you have to have this like air of caution and respect because this area is being utilized by so many people, right? So, it’s such a delight when somebody either engages with you or wants to have a conversation like Sydney Crosby. That’s that was just so such a surprise and like of course doesn’t doesn’t surprise me when you really think about Mikey and his his personality and how like he could talk to anybody and it’s remarkable.
