Zary and Parekh scratched, Matty in

  1. Why wouldn’t you let a player like Zary work through it? Huska has completely lost the plot at this point. Unfortunate, but true.

  2. Preparing for the draft lottery by pulling names out of a hat to determine line combinations and scratches…interesting strategy 👀

  3. Man I was worried about us promoting Huska to head coach because I was afraid he would just be a younger version of Sutter.

I really hoped I was wrong but it is really starting to feel like maybe there was some validity to my concerns.

This team is young and not supposed to be good. Let the young players figure it out. Let them make mistakes and learn from those mistakes. Let them play with creativity in the offensive zone and find their game.

  4. If Parekh is a little banged up, I feel that it’s okay to give him the night off, Zary is a lot questionable to me though.

What the hell are we doing, though? I think as a fan base we’re all okay with what this team is so far this year. So are we artificially trading the raise the trade value of guys like Kadri, Coleman, and Andersson right now? If the season is truly lost, then start making those phone calls, Conny. I’m not saying he should make a move now, but getting a temperature of where the market’s at wouldn’t be a bad idea.

  5. One day you think I would learn to wait to submit my Tim Hortons NHL Challenge picks until this sort of news comes out. But today is not that day.

  6. Pierre LeBrun: I’m not 100% convinced yet that if GM Conroy goes to [Flames] ownership and says I think it would help our team long term if we trade Kadri, that ownership says OK; there’s a real desire from ownership to stay in the fight – Sick Podcast w/ Tony Marinaro (10/29)

This team is a joooooooooke. Hope they lose by a million

  7. It really isn’t Huskas fault that Zayne is not ready for the NHL and Zary and Coronato turned out to be mediocre 2 liners at best. Just lose the games and trust the process – these two are not players that will be on the roster in 5 years no need to cry about their development.
