  1. I can’t even imagine the psyched up satisfaction he feels when he does that “you’re fuckin out!” post K walk around.

  2. Also the first pitcher in MLB world series history to have 12 strike outs and no walks!

Edit: added to say world series

  3. someone sync all 12 strikeouts to Kendrick Lamar’s peakaboo:

Double-wind it on the mound, Mr. strike-em-out-the-stands
If you swinging, check your stance, you gonna follow up with fans
Pressure on the neck, but now he in the record books, I’m sayin’, like
    Bing-bop-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-bop-bam

  4. All but one was down in the zone/borderline ball. Seems they have a game plan. GO JAYS GO!!!

  5. Literally the greatest pitcher of all time and no, I’m not just being emotional right now! How dare you!

  6. Dodger player walks into the bar, looking worn and drawn out, a haunted expression on his face. He points to the bar and goes and says “ Make it a double.” The Yankee player turns to face the Dodger player, same haunted look and goes, “ You got Yesavaged, didn’t ya?”

  7. Just as impressive as the pitches that secured the K in this video was Yesavage’s masterful set up for them in the pitches to these batters prior.

Totally stymied them by a combination of hard to discern the pitches coming from a common high release point, a splitter that was working very well, and some solid fastball placement.

  8. As the (paraphrased) commentary said: ‘They know what’s coming-but they’ve never quite seen this flavor of it before’.
