NHL Highlights | Flames vs. Senators | October 30, 2025

Flames coming off a loss in Toronto on Tuesday
night. The same night the Leafs are the Senators are beaten by the Chicago Blackoff. That’s
worldwide is back to pick it up. He’s busy some friends and family as they got pulled
over his insurance. Oops. He has insurance. She does. In comes Joel Farish that rink wide
shot score. Sharon on the power play. And it’s the first power play makes it one- nothing. And
the Flames will remain in the man advantage. For poor performance that they’re counting
on offense from. And Sharon go just takes this one underneath. That’s the one
you want to give up cuz it puts the goal in a tough spot. But really it goes
in because it catches Dylan Cousins shin pads. He drops to block it and a thought that
was going low. goes off his shin pads and how you get a good look at it here and zips up
over the glove of Mark. No chance for him. Move back to Uber now to the point he goes to
Anderson long blocked by Thomas Shabbat. Lift it up to Pinto. He’s away along with Ells and then
shoots scoreanded goal. The game is tied one. picked off by Shabbat. Now Pinto stops,
seals off Hubbero, knocks the puck out, and then springs it to one all intentionally,
and then goes pass off pads to Lars Eller. It’s just the awareness of where he is and
where Hubo is going to be to stop up here, use your hand and then be physically strong enough
to seal off Ubero who can’t get any momentum going back on the back. First short handicle for Eller
in more than two years and the first short hand goal this year. Another chance back stop by late
in the power play. Slides in behind the defenseman but can’t quite elevate as Omar stretches out
and cousins of a long shot. off the leg of Ras Anderson. Picked up now by Greg. Great chance
there. Great play, but a good stop there by Deon Cou. Good save to keep it at one. And then maybe
good chance by Cousins. Turn aside and moved up by Kirkman. He finds UN moving in. Final seconds
with a power play center for Kirk. A good pass save by shortanded hit by the Calgary Flames.
One shot on that path. It remains a one-1 tie. brought back in by Cadry. Feeds it across
for its produc up highs had to be sharp on Canadian Tire Senators hockey on TZA.
Drops it back to Cadry to Anderson. Cadrick Anderson sends that down to
Frost back. Great chance to find score. Tapped home with the side of the goal in a mad
scramble. And looked like Matt Coronado got the last touch. We touched on Morgan Frost being all
around this game so far. And he takes the ice. It’s given to him. Eventually gets it to Coronado.
Nobody knows where it is except for Coronado. Mark’s got no idea. He stays in his crouch.
Watch Mark after the first save. He thinks he’s got it frozen. He’s got his arm pinned
down on his pad as though the puck is tucked underneath his arm. Meanwhile, it drops
down for another poke in and a couple big boys having a conversation. I don’t even
want to go back to Sanderson to Stola to Sanderson. Walks right in. Feeds it down to
Stol that backs the long shot. A good glove save by Deon Kohley going side to side and
then getting a pass through the middle of the box from Sitzla over to Cousins I don’t
think gets all of that one plays it back in brought up by back with a quick shot
on the rebounder couldn’t connect down to Bath slides that back to Eller Eller to Zoo and Arisha scores.
Ardam Zoo ties the game at two. So the fourth line’s out there, but it’s Drake
Bath in L of Mcderma needing some offense. When we talk about the need to get in front of the
ice, look at that. Perfectly done. Zero is not going to get a point, but he’s going to get the
recognition on the bench cuz Koulie looks left of the pile. Puff goes right of the pile and
that’s when he get past the goalender. Ardam Zoo the beneficiary of some good work and
the zoo chant goes up here in Ottawa. Got two in comes Pinto along with Amario. Shane
Pinto walks right in back hand chopped up by [ __ ] and Pinto looks back to see if there’s a
penalty coming the puck and be fast driving in. No real hook on him there and he had terrific
undrafted free agent signing back in 2020. He has been a really good player for Iowa. Now a
lead pass shoot at the goal post right off the p job doing his thing and a ruffle on
time but it’s okay. A strong group of energy time there by Yubo. Sanders
with a chance for cross turned away by brought up by Sanderson White sweaters as Cadry comes back and
drops it back to Yubry. Shoot scores and NASM Cadry playing in career game
number 997 restores the Flames lead. And the Sense turning it over. That time it was
Jake Sanderson trying to attack and he gets caught up ice ends with a threeon two going the other
way. And good pass between Hubo and Cadry to get Cadri in alone. You just got to be patient. It’s
hard. Ottawa has the puck. They’re trying to get things going offensively. They turn it over
and you’re not in position to defend well and Calgary. Five and a half to go here in the third
period. Person looks ahead to Zelin. Bounces it, flips it ahead and stiffer couldn’t
quite that bouncing puck. 32 Calvary leads in the third period on Canadian Tire
Senators hockey on. And here is Anderson. Knocked down by Spence. He finds Tutler in with Nick Cousins and Drake Mat. Off the
bench comes Sanderson. Shoot. scores but bounced in behind Kulie and Ottawa has tied it
up with 249 to go on the goal by Jake Sanderson. We’ll watch the Calgary bench closely here
Gourd as everyone checking the monitors who gave it away on the Padre goal. He’s the
one who takes advantage here by the time hits Sanderson. And the question will be Drake
Craig Batherson, right? Does he get pushed in? I don’t think he hits him until the
puck’s pass him. Cousins runs into him. The Cousins Weaguer collision. That’s
not going to be reason to challenge this. Weer crunch there by Bandon. Worked the three for
Dylan Cousins. Going to put that back. It’s stolen by Bison. feeds it back in front of the back end.
Shot stops in time by good moves it back to Shiob. Here’s the play by Cousins early. Just doesn’t
get that puck to settle down. Actually double hits it for the Flames. Siobhan, works it back in.
Chris crossing with Stley. Drops it for him. In comes Tim Stler gets a step holds it down shot on
net. Stutza is in alone here and two in the hand. is usually enough when a guy’s
on a breakway to draw a penalty. It in on Tulie the fans. He’s got all the hands that he wants
but just elects to shoot it and shoot it early. I don’t think Kulie got a good read on this
release cuz this pass for one so far this year. In comes Kirkland on the goal post. Kirkland seems like a surprising choice,
but he must have a great track record at different levels. He goes with a drag all
the way across. He’s got all marked beats, but not the post. Sta scored in
Ottawa shootout win against Seattle. Makes his way in slowly. winds in and scores. It’s
only fitting that he got a puck past the goalie at some point tonight. And when [ __ ] fights on
that pup fake, he’s got him. Roll the wrist, get to the forehand, and make no mistake.
Slick one for one so far this year. Frost shoots over, gets the stop, and Ottawa wins it. A game they never led. But they battled back.

  1. Sipping Canadian whisky while watching my small-market, Ottawa NHL Underdogs come from behind again and win another one. Eller's goal from Pinto's rebound: "The best shot is a rebound." Calgary definitely looked better than their record indicates. Cooley was hot (see what I did there?!) and had me worried. I'm glad for the Ottawa win. GO SENS GO!!
