NHL Highlights | Canucks vs. Blues – October 30, 2025

In the last eight against St. Louis, four of those have been multi-point efforts. He starts on the line with Malias Patterson at center. Jake de Brusk on the left and that’s the Brusk at center taking a pass and backhanding the puck into St. Louis ter now. Holloway in stopped by Lankin as Dylan Holloway tried to cut right across the crease. Blues maintain possession of the puck. Shooter down to Holloway. Sunquist in front. Holloway shoots and scores. [Music] [Applause] 323 in. Dylan Holloway gets the home team on the board. loose, pick the puck back up and then he’s going to pop into an area right behind Elias Patterson and then put it underneath the goalender right through the legs of Lank and then all the way to the second of the season and Blues get on the board early. [Applause] That shift wouldn’t have happened if not for the closein save by Laning who might face another test here. It’s a twoon-one. Holloway shoots to high missed the net. Looking for his second of the period. A off the rush type team. They don’t like to dump it in. They like to carry it in when they can. And they’ve gotten a couple of chances off rushes so far. That one’s kept in by Broberg who hit the side of the goal with this shot to now center and another point blank save. Vander out as Carlson and Torchenko ran into each other at the blue line. Kane has stayed on. He tried to one hand that one in front. Puck is loose. Sherwood scores. Kefir Sherwood has his seventh. And a bit of a scrambly play around the crease. He doesn’t mind that one bit. He’s tied the game at one. The thing about wandering goalenders is that sometimes they cough the puck up and Bennington didn’t make a clean play on it when it went in. You see he’s kind of handcuffed and that allows the Conucks to continue the forche. And that’s all Kane. And the bouncing puck comes to Sherberg again. Long wrist shot deflected. I think that went off a Kuck stick and into the corner. Yeah, Patterson in the slot. Snugaroo trying to get away from Elias Patterson shoots up high. Lankin had some trouble with that one. Jordan Kyu Navage centers. Holloway fanned on it and Elias Patterson brings the puck ahead. Sherwood’s with him. There’s the pass. Kefir Sherwood shoots off the bar and the puck ricochets out of play. Here’s Sunquist taking a lead pass. Turning with the puck is shooter. Feeds back. Now a shot and that was turned away by Lankin. It might have caught a piece of the post as D’Vorski let fly first period. Brock Besser who was injured on the first shift of the game has not come back and the Canucks already beset by injury have another one to deal with in this game as Holloway is checked by Elias Patterson. Heronic turns and sends the puck all the way down again. Sherard had a decision. He was getting that motor running there in the early part of this penalty kill and out there a while. Here’s Snugger and scores. [Music] A perfect pass to send Jimmy Snugger in on the right wing. He put it post and in behind Lankin and it’s two-1 Blues and the Cucks just weren’t settled in the neutral zone properly. Joseph can’t intercept that pass and Snugoo just leans into this snapshot and catches Lanken and just passed the right arm. That is a heck of a shot. It was Fowler who made the picture perfect pass to send Snugroot in. D’Vorski onto the puck. Now Pareo at the blue line feeds the high slot. Quick shot stopped by Lankin as D’vorski had a good look there for his first in the NHL. Fowler Torpenko behind the net. Blues dig the puck. Put it across. Pass intended for Walker. Didn’t get through. Now a shot by Faulk. Blocked away by Lanken who made that save with authority. Then Riel braced himself for a hit from Fowler and feeds one off the boards. Smart play by Torpcho to let it go. That allowed Broberg to skate onto the puck. But now the Coxhead. It’s breakaway. Kefir Sherwood in on Bennington. He dets. He scores. Second of the game for Kefir Sherwood. He’s up to eight on the year. And the Canucks for a second time have tied this game in St. Louis. Oh, the energy man makes it count. Blues thought they had a nice entry into the zone. Little drop off and sent right to the far blue line. Keep in mind last time he had a breakaway on Bennington. He did the same sort of shimmy and shake. Went to his forehand. This time he takes it to the backand. Bennington goes down and can’t get his right arm or leg in front of that backhand offering. Elias Patterson put the puck to the middle. Blues pick it off. But Navage gave it away at the blue line. Here’s Baines to the net. He shoots. Stopped by Bennington. Baines with some strong moves. Tried to go five hole, but Bennington did my mom and I don’t know. I’ve never actually researched because she says the actual expression is the proof of the pudding is in the eating. The proof is in the pudding. I’m all for the eating part. Meyers Fowler blocked that one off the hand I think of McKern. Back comes Okconor for Vancouver. Drop pass to Atu Ratu. Stick broke. Following up is Sherwin. He hit the post. Did it go in? Yes, it did. The referee says it’s in. And it’s a hat-tick goal for Kefir Sherwood who has all three for the Canucks in this game. Two goals. Well, you’re wrong. He just keeps shooting and finding his mark. Sherwood with the shot after the broken stick by Ratu just surprises Bennington. I mean, this is inside bar down. There’s one hat been thrown on the ice. I still haven’t seen it go in. I’m not disputing the referee. I just Puck loose. Sunquist feeds it back. Pew Sudter. Dozen seconds to go on the St. Louis power put. The X Connect controlling on the near side now feeds one back. Fowler long shot to play and shooter scores. That took a friendly bounce right onto the stick of Pew Sudter. He held the puck long enough in the half wall. People were getting anxious, but it’s to set up to the point and then he goes right towards the net and the puck just bounces right to him after a deflection in front and off the goalender. Not even sure it got to Lankan and Riel tips the puck past Fowler who skates back pursued by Evander Kane who gives him a bump into the boards centers and Riel fan on his shot at Lucas Reichel now feeds back Joseph with a shot stopped. Kane scores. Evander Kane looks to the sky. Damn. And it does cuz it hit him kind of in the mask. And that to me, if there’s anything they’re going to look at it, I think it hit him in the chest. Yeah. So, I was watching the skate the whole time. Now, you take a look at this one. Here is the verdict. After reviewing the play was determined there was goender. You’re wrong. if he wins it so strong. Well, it goes to the man at the side and the pass by Patterson trying to tee up the one-time was blocked. That’ll do it. We’re going to go to overtime. Tied at three. Lost by injury on the opening shift. Canucks control first as Patterson kicked the puck back. He’s out there with the Brusk and Phil Heronic. And here comes Patterson who had an overtime goal in this building. Circling at center. [Applause] Pew. Sudter right up the gut with a rishaw block. Gets his own rebound. Stopped by Lanka. Well, Sudter’s going to realize he can get through and get this puck back, but shoots one around for Phil Heronic. And he’ll take that pass at center. Now the Canucks one last chance to move in. Beans, Peronic, and they run out of time. Elise Person next up for Vancouver. Stopped by Bennington and the goalies are perfect for two rounds. Real good depth matching the forward coming in. And then there’s you get to a point where if you decide you’re going to shoot, you just have to. He’s had seven gamedeiding goals and shootouts in his career. And he’ll come in off the right. Lost the puck and it’s into the corner. No shot for Shen. There’s nothing you can do there. And you try to stick handle quickly. It goes up on end and you just Jake de Brrisk can end it here with a goal on Bennington. scores. Jake De Brusk in the shootout [Applause] and the Canucks all skate to their own end to mob Kevin Lanken who’s seven for seven in shootouts this year. He allowed De Brusk the chance to put that one in and under the bar. It’s the same move he tried in Chicago. That one hit the bar. This one sneaks in under and a hat-tick for Sherwood. A gamewinner for Jake De Brusk. Well, he came in with speed and that forced Lank or pardon me, Bennington to come out a little bit further away from the net. And as he’s slowly backing in, it’s a timing shot just up and over as Bennington is going down. The puck is going up. See that little flinch quickly there by Nebraska. [Music]

Kiefer Sherwood maintained his hot streak with his second career hat trick, and Kevin Lankinen made 39 saves, including turning aside all three shots in the shootout, as the Vancouver Canucks defeated the St. Louis Blues 4-3.

  1. Apparently Sherwood chose not to re-sign with the Canucks this off season. He had 19 goals last year and he seems to be set for new career highs. It's a good thing he didn't re-sign because he's setting himself up to really earn a lot more money now and hopefully set himself up for life. I always liked Sherwood and it's nice to see him have success.

  2. The Blues just lost to the hospital Canucks, 9 regulars out of the lineup and needed to refs help to secure a point lmao. Lankinen played his best game and Sherwood is a beast!

  3. Sherwood discovered Wheaties; he's on quite a streak.

As a Pens fan, I feel sorry for you Canucks fans having to watch P.O. Joseph flail about. There must be somebody in Abbotsford with more skill than him…

  4. Hopefully noob doesn’t realize that we’re not the only team who blows leads he said the other day that we blew a two goal lead now his team blew a two goal lead and now we’re even now everyone knows how it feels like when a lot of teams blows leads Ggs Canucks wasn’t pretty, but we’ll take it I felt that kane goalie interference. Call was soft sherwood is carrying this team and love to see it onto the next
