This is VERY GOOD News for the Knicks…

The New York Knicks have just received very good news and this could not have come at a better time for this team as there has been a lot of concern surrounding the Knicks after dropping two games and now we get to see some ideal changes coming to Mike Brown’s rotations and lineups as well after some players have struggled in specific situations. We’re going to go over all that and why Knicks fans should be absolutely thrilled with the newest news that has come out. And we’re going to waste no time jumping right into it, guys. You don’t want to miss out on the great content that we’re coming at you guys with. But with all that being said, let’s jump right into the video. There is a lot to discuss on the Knicks right now because look, here’s the deal. As we know, the Knicks started off very well this season playing good basketball, going 2 and 0, and looking very, very good. However, then things changed. The bench unit that they brought in has not exactly given a ton of hope to this team thus far and it’s very early and fans should not be too concerned but it does have them a little bit concerned with some cautious concern right now just over these first four games of the season. Now Mike Brown, he has messed around with the lineups a lot already using three different starting lineups for this team. Whether it’s Ariel Huckport, Deuce McBride, or Landry Shamat starting, he’s moving things around, trying anything and everything to see what sticks and it is a good way to go about things. But the Knicks now, they have received excellent news on one of their best players as Stefan Bondi just revealed that Duce McBride has rejoined the Knicks in Chicago. A league source tells the New York Post it’s a good indication that he’ll play against the Bulls on Friday. McBride has missed the last two games for personal reasons. Now, Deuce has been good in these two games that he’s appeared in for this Knicks season thus far. He’s played in 29 He played 29 minutes per game, putting up 12 and a half points, three rebounds, and two and a half assists while also getting a steal per game, shooting 39% from the field, but 40% from three. Deuce has been an excellent three-point shooter throughout his career and is looking like it once again while being the team’s best point of attack defender. the Knicks. It’s become a pretty wild ride with Deuce because at first he was just a second round pick who was a guard who wasn’t getting a ton of minutes and we hoped one day that maybe he’d turn into something. Well, he has. Deuce McBride has been nothing short of awesome for this New York Knicks team. He’s become one of the most integral players on the roster. He is that good. Every sense of the word. Deuce McBride is that good. He’s that guy. He’s the Knicks guy. He just he makes the team so much better. He’s done this for a few years now. He’s a glue guy who just again best point of attack defender on the team. Excellent three-point shooter, can be a lead ball handler. We’ve seen it start, we’ve seen him grow into that role, utmost confidence in his own game. Deuce is everything we want out of a sixth man on this team. And the Knicks when they were without deuce, they were struggling. The team, I mean, through the first two games of the season with Deuce, they were 2 and 0. Everything was looking great. The team was playing good basketball. And then obviously Deuce missed the next two games due to personal reasons which I’m not going to get into into on this channel because frankly Deuce’s business is his own business and the Knicks they are 0 and2 without Deuce McBride on the season. So we saw instantly how much of an impact Deuce McBride has on this team. Man, we it didn’t take time at all for us to understand how much of an impact Deuce McBride really does have on the Knicks. I mean, look, without deuce, the team was shooting 40% from the field and 22% from three. With Deuce there, they still shot 40% from the field. However, they shot 36 and 12% from three. That is a massive difference maker. And part of the reason is is because Deuce McBry is a 40% three-point shooter who does give them a lot better shooting. The Knicks, they were averaging 112 points without Deuce and or with Deuce and 109 with him or without him. Wow. 112 with with Deuce, 109 without him. So the Knicks, they were much better with Deuce and Brad on the floor. We saw the assist numbers, they were the only thing that really jumped without Deuce there. But at the same time, Deuce is there to score the ball and do what he does, shoot, be an elite defender, do all those things, and he does them so so so well. I love Duce McBride on this team. He is such an he’s such an integral player for the Knicks to be their best selves. So seeing Deuce come out here, seeing Duce perform is absolutely excellent news going forwards for him as well. I really like the way that the team looks with D McBride this season and without he’s the team struggled the bench so far their bench pieces who they’ve added on have not been good at all. I mean Jordan Clarkson having a slow start to the year in the 15 minutes per game that he’s playing putting up seven points, two rebounds, one assists. He’s only shooting 33% from the field and 31% from three. We need to see Jordan Clarkson play better. It is a must. And on top of that Gershan Yabu who’s another the other big bench addition for this team with the Knicks having a top three in their bench of Deuce Yabu and Clarkson. Now things are a a little less exciting as Yaboo is averaging 1.7 points and four rebounds per game, shooting 20% from the field and 14% from three. Neither Clarkson or yet nor Yaboo Saley have figured it out thus far and it definitely is a cause for some concern here. On top of that, the Knicks do have Tyler Kick who has been playing this backup point guard role and he’s doing it well. He’s putting up five points, two assists per game, and he’s shooting 42% from the field. The three-point shooting has to get better. It’s a must. He’s hitting his open threes. It’s just a matter of him not hitting more of the threes that he’s going to have to get through some contests, which does give me a little bit of of just worry. But at the same time, at the end of the day, Kolic is young. He’s not going to be playing as much man, especially come the playoffs. But still, it does matter right now. And Knicks fans, they are a little bit concerned just going over everything with Deuce McBride with this team. And frankly, the Knicks, they do need as much help as humanly possible right now. So, they continue to be one of the best teams and really the best team in the Eastern Conference. That’s what they’re supposed to be. and Dick McBride coming back. Could not have come at a better time. I mean, look, we look at the advanced numbers. We’re going to make that bigger because I doubt you guys can read it. I can’t read it. But um but when we look at these advanced numbers, we see Duce McBride is all over the place on the best net ratings of the twoman lineups that the Knicks have. I mean, Yabusy and Trey Gonson of the top one, but it was for two minutes in garbage time. Duce McBride and Gershon. Yui have a good net rating together. On top of that, we see Deuce with Jordan Clarkson as well. with the Knicks two biggest bench additions. They’re actually very good on the net rating when they have Deuce McBride with them. That’s what we’re seeing. And right below them, right below Clarkson and Yabu is Tyler Kolic and Deuce. We see that Deuce makes this bench unit work. Not to mention, he works well at the starting lineup. We see him there with OG on Anobi. We see him all the way at the bottom with him and Jaylen Brunson, a unit that has worked very well together in the past. Jaylen Brunson and Duce McBride love playing together. When Deuce and JB usually tend to play their best basketball as well, being in that little two guard set between them, both being able to dribble the ball, both being able to set up for the other one, yet the other one open threes a lot in the corner as well. It does work super well. Jaylen Brunson, the only thing he’s better at being an onball scorer is being an offball scorer. So, when we see that, getting another ball handler there who knows JB better than any of these other guys do is so perfect for this team. I’m so excited to have Deuce back, man. It is such a huge thing, especially when looking at the Knicks bench, which was supposed to be one of the best benches in the NBA through this first week, week and a half of the of the NBA season. It hasn’t been. I mean, look, man. The Knicks have the second least bench points per game, only behind the Los Angeles Lakers, who are not contenders. So, we see this, we look at the Knicks, they’re also playing, I mean, the bench is not playing as many minutes as Cleveland’s or as the Timberwolves or as the Sacramento Kings, but it’s close to the Kings and to the Timberwolves. And frankly, the bench scoring just has to be better, man. Their bench points per game are just not good whatso I mean at all because Clarkson, Yabu Saley, they haven’t been able to score the ball. And that’s giving the Knicks some trouble. Josh Hart hasn’t been scoring the ball well either. So, we look at all this and we do have to understand the Knicks, they desperately, desperately need more bench help. And whether he’s coming off the bench or starting, enter Deuce McBride, who has been able to do such excellent work for the Knicks. Now, this also comes at a perfect time because the Knicks are playing the Chicago Bulls who are the hottest team in the East right now. They’re undefeated thus far playing absolutely phenomenal basketball and it’s really just becoming a thing where the Knicks and the Bulls they always have exciting matchups. So the Knicks have to go out there and try to win this game. Hand the Bulls their first loss. So hey we are we run the East. Don’t get it twisted. We’re the best team in the Eastern Conference. And now that Deuce McBride’s back we’re going to be able to show that easier. Deuce over the past couple of seasons against the Bulls has played well. Putting up 10 points per game with three rebounds and two assists. Putting up Deuce McBride numbers while also shooting quite well. Shooting 45% from the field and 39% from three. It’s exactly the type of stuff you want to see out of Deuce McBride. It’s exactly what you want to see right now that Deuce is back with the team. It’s so great to have Duce back. I hope he’s doing well after his family thing that he went through. So, really, really rooting so hard for Deuce McBride. Absolutely.
