Myles Turner outstanding defensive effort on this play: meets Steph Curry at the level of the screen at the halfcourt(!) line, recovers to the paint, then meets Steph again at the top of the key, then recovers to the paint again — which helps GTJ force this turnover

  1. myles has been spectacular on defense good to see his shot falling tonight too, he fits in perfectly with this team

  2. I love him calling the shots. Telling the help to stay away because Draymond is not a threat from distance.

    He’s been terrific.

  3. This is late in the *fourth quarter*. When is the last time we have seen hustle plays like that this deep into a game from people not named Giannis?

  4. He can actually move his feet unlike Brook Lopez. I loved Brook while he was here but he was such a liability on defense if he wasn’t near the rim.

  5. This man literally changed the defense. He has been spectacular on the court on that end holy shit I can’t get over it

  6. Draymond being so bad at offense hurts the warriors so much. Myles didn’t even have to worry about him doing anything on the perimeter.

  7. Trying to come up with a joke for “if Brook ever did this” but realizing he would never do this

  8. And this is why you wave and stretch Dame for Turner. You pair this with a defender like Giannis. Turner defense is elite and unlocks Bucks defensive ceiling this year.

  9. Shout out to GTJ to he’s been active on defense all season! 4 steals tonight. How on earth are we paying him so little

  10. And pavers fans still think we only signed Myles to be Dame’s replacement and be our second option/scorer lmao

I think I’m gonna start counting how many “airballs forced” through 3pt contest (similar to pressures or ‘pass breakups’ in football) Myles can tally. I believe he had 3 of those this game just by putting an arm up by the shooter’s face and hopping ever slightly into their landing area (mindfully)

  11. Honest question, did he tap the ball there or did Steph just lose the handle? It’s not gonna affect my opinion at all on the D just curious if anyone saw another angle outside of this?
