Do you think the Philly fans are happy about never making a Conference Finals after spending years as the joke of the league?
We tried but philly was more shameless than us somehow. Nets too and jazz.
Huh, we tanked last year? We just didn’t get lucky in the lottery while the sixers did. Which is why I don’t understand people who are so quick to say tank like it’s a sure fire road to success

I’m happy with CMB so far, he’s going to be a beast.
We did a pathetic job of tanking by signing a bunch of 25 year olds who we ended up cutting anyways while other teams were playing 20 year olds.
Not to mention Scottie really wanted to hit the 65 game played mark like it made any difference.

I mean most fans have wanted to tank for like 4 years now. Ownership just isn’t willing to do what it takes and would rather have a maybe playoffs team every year (extra ticket and media revenue are juicy) than have to suffer the extreme lows of tanking.
However it’s definitely worth it, even financially, they’re just too short sighted to see it. NBA is a league of superstars and team valuation, jersey sales, tickets, etc. are all driven by the top 10 players in the league.
We were tanking egregiously wdym? We got CMB too.
ah yes the spurs tank that lead them to a better record than us but landing the #2 pick by sheer luck
CMB looks like he could be a really really great pick regardless, i’m honestly praying for a mavs/atlanta situation where we compete, then find ourselves a top pick from the play-in lol
Darryn Peterson & CMB core makes me rock fucking hard
76ers have had a very easy schedule, they are not contenders.
We missed the boat not tanking for Wemby.
Tho seeing the Hawks & Mavericks steal #1 would’ve pissed me off.
Sixers have Embiid and PG. give them time, they’ll suck.
We wasted all those years not tanking for some bullshit and now we’re paying for it.
