NHL Highlights | Red Wings vs. Kings – October 30, 2025
with the former team theme for the Detroit Red Web Wings on this trip so far. And puck drop is brought to you by Irvine Auto Center. It is Deno for the Kings against Dylan Larkin. And the Kings get it back on the goal. And here’s Arma. Aria Leferier and Deno again. The Kings going to 11 forward seven defenseman. And the captain Larkin comes in and that is set around by Lucas Raymond. The young Swede pops to center and Deno is on it with numbers in on goal. A shot right on by Arma and after coughing up a three nothing lead. They won 4-3. Kee knocks it down. Now Kee gets it back from Kazbe. Here’s Kempe right in a shot. Rebound Edmonson and he missed a wideopen goal. And the Sharks had 14 shots, including that late kill when Edmonson cleared it over the glass. Look out here, right in front of shot. And that goes just wide. Now Edmonson gives it away. Arma. His pass kept off by Finny. And the Red Wings ahead. Break for Raymond. Right in. And it’s saved by Keer. I think somebody turned the wrong way. And at the line, all the Red Wings poke it ahead. And here they come. Sodom. Right in. And a save by Keer and the Kings come back as it opens up and the ferair into the wing right on and a save by Tal the majority of the year with Grand Rapids in the American League. Kopitar wins the faceoff. Kempe gets it off the pipe. Kee hit the pipe right off a faceoff win by Kopitar tells us they had more than double the offensive zone possession time. You see all of those metrics where the Kings had the lead and most of those have to do with foreign 0 for one with one shot. They win it back for Cider. Good stick there by Biffield. Now Biffield with it looking for Lefer with his speed. Gets a running man in the clear. Shoots. He scores. Lefier a short-handed beauty. [Applause] [Music] keeping his speed going. Watch it right here. It’s thrown to the middle back end bounce. Now watch this speed and then lean. Look at him lean across right there. And he’s still able. He’s getting the goalender to move here because Calvin thinks he’s going to go all the way across the crease. And just at the last second, that’s when he floats it back. Cam gets a piece, but not enough. Now lifted low for Raymond. Lucas Raymond backsider [Music] for Raymond to De Brink. He’s got a good one-time. Red Wings set up again out high. Raymond to Brink and he scores with that one-time and it’s tied at one. Yeah, that’s what I was talking about, John. I got that feeling that the Red Wings, you know, obviously they’re trying to score on the power play, but opportunity to tie this thing up because of how the Kings took the lead. Raymond just hangs off to the side. Excuse me to bring it. One timer. He’s calling for it. Raymond, the pass is perfect. And you can see Darcy got across low [Applause] over the pad under the blocker. There’s the Red Wings ahead and Marco Casper play back. Sanding Pelic. and score from the point. They’re going to Kings are going to argue a high stick, I believe. Yeah, they’re going to argue that again. That’s reviewable. That’s not a situation where you have to challenge. This goes to Toronto automatically. Now, they got to make a call on the ice. And we’ll get a look at it as Casper stands up. It goes from high to low, but it’s difficult from that angle. This will be a better one. Much better one. Oh, that’s pretty high. That’s pretty high. Toronto’s looking at that right now. You see Keer is on his knees, but he’s reaching with the glove. You can’t see the crossbar in behind there, but that’s pretty high. That is pretty high. And again, this is an automatic review by that look and that previous look, Jim, you got an argument. Yeah, I think you’ve got a strong argument in these situations. It’s not a review as far as a challenge, automatic review. After review, the call on the ice stands. Good goal. Okay. Less of a north south approach by the Kings and more of a east west which probably led to some of those turnovers. Period number three again. The Red Wings are 6 and0 with a lead after two. Kings are 01 and two and trailing. And now Clark with the game winner late in San Jose on Tuesday. He can’t move it in to break it the other way for Detroit to break it right in front. They score. Wide open net and the Red Wings have taken a 31 lead. The Wings made something happen here. They improvised. They made a stick man. They’re going to run right here. It doesn’t look that bad. Numbers are in favor of the Red Wings, but watch this. The first pass doesn’t necessarily collect right here, but then he Oh, yes. Knew exactly what he was doing. Appleton knew exactly. So it didn’t look like anything and then all of a sudden it becomes a picture of beauty for the Red Wings as the wide open net is there and I mentioned the Red Wings in their structure neutral zone. The Kings could not looking to set up one-times but again get it to the front with Cory Perry there. Kopitar against Casper scrambled face off. Fia prize it free [Applause] and now Fia for Kempe the drive save. Rebound they score. Cory Perry has scored a goal again, his first at home as a king. And it’s now 3-2. [Music] You got to win the face off. And Cory Perry knows exactly what his job is. You got to stop here, guys, just for a split second. [Music] There’s Cory Perry just going to the front, just hanging around again. First chance is not going to work. I think Perry gets a piece on the way in and that causes the rebound right there. Might not have been Perry. Might have been the skate of a Red Wing. But when you have changing far side Kopitar back for Dowy the captain gets it again and now back. Kopitar shoots and tipped by field shoots. He scores. Unbelievable. The Kings have tied the game. [Music] getting it down low. Here’s Kopitar. Watch him move it around a couple times, but watch the shot pass coming up right here. Right there. There’s a redirection. Doesn’t get through. But that put back is absolutely. Watch the wrists here up by field. He’ll have to turn and spin to get his head up. Doesn’t even look. He just The Red Wings in control. and Larkin in the dying seconds bought off by Keer. And guess what? For the seventh time this year, Pelica, can the Kings complete the comeback on Halloween Eve. Faceoff won by Detroit. Sandy and Pelica back together. And the Kings come back out now for Leferier who scored a short-handed goal in the second. Fakes a drop pass. Comes in. Lefari waits. Shoots it right on. Stopped by Tel. Good job by Perry to keep it in. Kopitar to Perry to Kopitar. He’s set up again. And Kopitar right in front. He scores. Fiel wins it. What a comeback. Now we’re going to get the announcement from after reviewing the play. There is no goal. Goender contact. Wow. And clip it to play high. I think Larkin again. John Larkin made the stop and at the buzzer shot by Kempe. And we will go to a shootout. Remember we saw the play earlier with Kee. Here comes the 23-year-old Raymond in waiting and he scores and the Red Wings take the lead in the shootout. So just waiting out waiting to get the puck moving back and forth back and forth but just a break. Here he comes. Perry waiting and runs out of room. And now the Kings in trouble. See Cory Perry, he he opened up the stick there, but can’t tell. Keer needs a save. The break comes in and goes wide and the Kings have life. Keer had a stick on it there. The break made the move, but he had Darcy leaning one way, but Darcy was able to reach back, I believe, with a stick going one way across stick. Yeah, he knocked it off. Fia needs it here. Get it going. So FIA must score to give the Kings a chance. Do it so many different ways. He likes top glove though. And here he comes. Fiala down the middle and a save. And the Red Wings win and a shootout after the goal was called back in overtime. [Music]
Marco Kasper scored a pair of goals and Lucas Raymond netted the lone shootout tally as the Detroit Red Wings survived a late comeback attempt from the Los Angeles Kings, winning 4-3.

Just watched this to see wtf happened 😂😂 can’t believe my eyes
Pacific division as a whole is in shambles rn 😂
Except knights
Softest goal reversal ever in OT 🙄
Genuinely how much did the wings slide the refs
Commentators wanted the kings to win sooooooo badly. If you want a realistic game analysis check out awood40. This is ridiculous.
kings cope in these comments
Screw these commentators. Red wings own them and the kings. Womp womp.

The Detroit Red Wings are a hockey team
As a Wings fan I will fully admit that Toronto was feeling kind to us tonight.
I love my Wings but this was as good as a loss for them. Lucky calls; inexcusable defense. Got 2 points but take this match as a big L and learn from it. Things are just going to get harder from here.
I was at this game! I was so disappointed the overtime goal didn’t count, it should have. Also I was surprised it went to overtime because when we went down 3-1 with around 5 minutes left I didn’t think they would come back. What was really crazy is when the red wings made it 3-1 I noticed many fans started exiting the arena and I’m sure they were disappointed wishing that they didn’t exit when the kings came back and made it a crazy game even though they didn’t win!
Corey Perry curse
Cam Talbot does an (actually amusingly good!) impression of Henrik Lundqvist just after winning the shootout.
LA has Toyota as a sponsor. They were bound to lose
#14 got his mojo back 👍LA Is racking up a lot of 1 point games so far this year Geez we need more 2 point games guys
We were lucky to win that! That overturned goal was a dicey decision! So was Kaspers 1st goal. Could have gone either way.
I turned off the game as soon as LA scored the OT goal, now I’m seeing this shocked at 4 am 😮😂
